I found Vera check to be a pretty honest company and as long as you just are doing vanilla plain Jane Processing for ACH they were OK. but the minute you need customer service they're horrible. They're a bunch of rule followers with no imagination and can't think out of the box simply tried to change banks that I needed in my deposits to go to, and they had so many restrictive rules about it. I did the same thing with stripe and it was done in like two minutes so I think this is one of the worst customer service companies I've ever experienced. I found it extremely frustrating time wasting and I could never get a satisfied answer for why they couldn't deposit my funds in one account and bill me in another account so like I say if you have vanilla Processing that they may be OK but find somebody better stripes 10 times better and a lot less aggravating.

As others have said:

1: Every extension from their phone;one leads to a dead end. No one ever picks up.

2: They don’t chase your referees but expect you to do all the leg work. These people are getting paid to NOT chase the referees given to them.

Their lack of concern for people who are moving house is shocking. People’s lives are in the balance.

I’ve had a week and a half with nowhere to live because of them dragging their heals.

Tonia was amazing and really helpful!

Literally the slowest and the worst service. Zero response from verifying agent . Missed my move in date . No one picks up the call . No responses to emails either . But

More than 5 stars needed! The Veri-Check team were great to deal with and very apologetic for the wait in regards to getting back to me. The reviews previous clearly didn't have their application managed by Katt, who was really responsive, and very kind to us throughout the whole process. Everything was clearly explained to us, every step outlined, even when I was pushy (sorry) Katt was able to get back to me and set my mind at ease, assuring me tings were on track - there are delays with employer and landlord references but I knew there would be a little wait. Thank you for sorting out our applications! We can't recommend enough.

We are unfortunately using Veri-check to secure a rental apartment and we are now going to miss our move in date because of that.

I can characterise our experience with them as a lack of communication, lack of contactability and lack of clarity on what documents need to be supplied.

We have supplied documents and only after lengthy delays and issues with their system being down, they have asked for the same documents to be submitted again or more documents to be submitted. This is the day before our scheduled move in date so it is now no longer possible for us to move in.

The phone lines are not answered. Urgent emails are not responded to. This is a nightmare for anyone requiring timely and accurate communication, as most people do when arranging time sensitive reference checking!

Avoid avoid avoid.

Initially, I was going to give a 1 star for this review but the swift response at the end of the reference process changed my mind.

What could have been done differently

1. Instead of waiting on the applicant to chase after you, you could have listed out all the documents you need to complete your referencing.
2. The customer care call line should be removed as means of contact; because it’s more or less useless as nobody ever picks the phone.

Unable to request to reset new password, marketing site kept taking over the lock-in - Property for Sale UK!
Veri Check is moving towards advertising now, there's no help at all from the office but to ask you to lock in!

Please avoid.

They don't do the checks required asks for all sorts of documents and contact details. Gave all but still wasnt good enough.

Missed out on moving into new home because of the delay.

No one answers the phone and emails response time take up to 5 days that's if they even respond.

This company keep asking different kind of documents for reference. They change their mind each time. Never ever going to recommend or accept reference from this company

Quick, clear and prompt easiest referencing process I've been through. Special thank you to Tonia McKee, excellent service from her!

Constant email spam, their idea of getting references is actually emailing you to get your references for them. Pointless timewasting filling in multiple forms that say the same thing paraphrased. This company serves no purpose existing.

I understand this kind of process might take long but any updates and specifications for documents is appreciated.

I was told to send over documents several times.
One instance I was told one form cant be accepted since the email wasn’t sent by the main provider but my email address.To verify this I had to send them screenshots where I was only CC’ed. This process was followed by various emails and call chase

I do not know if its just my experience the email and google number is not answered.My emails are ignored. I have 5 days over from my contract start and someone verge of not having a home.

It would be greatly appreciated only if I would knew what documents are needed, what is issue with current documents (if any)

Everyone was very helpful in helping me work through process

I was a bit nervous getting my first place on my own thinking it would take a long time but veri-check were very quick and very helpful, and they responded to my emails very quickly when I had questions. And a big thanks to Bethan!

Lauren Owen was exceptionally amazing and really helpful,i really wished we had more of Lauren’s personality in the world. She was more than helpful and really supportive and I appreciate that. She really cares about people and that is an amazing trait. Thank you so much I really appreciate
