Buyer fees?

They have a wide variety of pre-owned items…but I don’t like that the “actual price” is quite a bit higher than expected at check out. I was shocked to see the Vestiaire fee, not only that they charge the buyer a fee, but that it was so high. I thought the price I was negotiating was what I would pay. When the seller accepted my offer I didn’t have to purchase once I saw the fee. But I felt like buying it was the right thing to do because we had an agreement. I’ve decided that’ll be the first and last time I buy off of this platform. I hate to see what the seller has to pay!

unfortunately this site for pre loved…

unfortunately this site for pre loved clothes has got much worse , they have put up the fees for sellers, eg: you sell something for £40 but you only receive £12 disgraceful, and then should the item you buy be from Europe then the customs charges that you purchase something increases the price by at least 20%, this makes it impossible to list items or buy items from vestaire collective now.

Dear Vestiaire Collective Team,

I am requesting the immediate refund of €313.90 for the jumpsuit (Ref. 44469545).
The item did not match its description (waist approx. 75 cm instead of the stated XS size). Your support team confirmed this in writing and provided me with an official return label.
The parcel was shipped in early September via DPD (tracking 09447498358705V) and made available for pickup in Huesca, but was never collected – this constitutes acceptance default on your side.

I have been waiting for my refund for over two months, while you keep telling me you are “in contact with DPD.”
If no refund is issued within 7 days, I will escalate this matter legally and report it to the consumer protection authorities and relevant review platforms.

This is terrible scam vestiare criminals

This is terrible scam. I got scared the following way. I started to sell at Vestiare. After having sold a few items. They blocked account referring they need to validate “for my safety”. During this time some items were shipped. First I resent all documents. They never got back after 4 months!. In the last exchange they just mock thier sellers. They wrote “ we are aware our timing is unacceptable but we ask you to be patient . This scans and I see thier ranking tank. Do not seek anything on vestiare.

The app has single handedly raised my…

The app has single handedly raised my blood pressure. So difficult to use l, it can hardly ever upload photos of an image making listing items a nightmare. Not sure why they have this issue whilst Vinted and Depop never seem to.

I’m deeply disappointed

I’m deeply disappointed by my experience with Vestiaire Collective. I sent in an authentic pair of Schiaparelli sneakers for sale — only to have the sale rejected and the shoes returned with a visible mark on the heel that was not present before shipping.

I provided time-stamped photos, followed every request, and was promised updates by their support team, but have only received vague responses and an insulting offer of a 15% coupon — despite the fact that I now cannot sell the item for its original value.

This has dragged on for weeks, and I still have no real resolution. I’ve been respectful, patient, and responsive at every step. I would like Vestiaire to take responsibility for the damage and provide fair compensation.

I had a bad and disappointing…

I had a bad and disappointing experience with Vestiaire.😒 I had bought really beautiful high heel sandals. They arrived and looked perfect and naturally I accepted the product with us the 72 hour limit. So came the day ( two months later) I wear those sandals to a special occasion. First half hour walking in them were great, and so I thought.They were actually disintegrating and literally falling apart. On my way to the special occasion I had to take them off and walk barefoot. There was nothing to do other than continue in the venue and put a brave face. There was no way I go home and wear something else. It sounds like a funny story, but trust mr it wasn't. It ruined a special evening.. So I the next morning send customer service about my experience and complain. Their answer was that I had passed the 72 hours right to complain.I tried to argue And they were repeating like a broken record that nothing can be done about it. And those Sandals are going to trash. Who buys fancy shoes and try them for several hours within the first 72 hours? This is for me, an expensive lesson learned.
Be careful when you buy shoes or now I think anything from Vestiaire. Make sure you wear it for hours before you accept it.

Bad condition items sold as ”very good condition”, no refunds

Incredibly disappointing treatment of loyal customers. I have sold and bought on Vestiare for over 10 years but received a bag (pictures attached) described as very good condition which clearly doesn’t meet a single requirement for very good condition according to the company’s own guidelines. They are refusing to refund me and lying about how refunds work. I will be closing my account.

UNPAID sold item 52917510

I sold over 2100 items on VC but recently customer service is appalling. VC quality control made 2 errors and sale got declined. VC acknowledged their mistake and now refusing to pay for the item. Also Management Avoiding to deal with difficult cases as plague!! Sad!!!

Extremely Disappointing Experience with Dangerous Product and Poor Customer Support

I recently purchased a pair of Valentino Garavani heels from Vestiaire Collective, and it has been the worst shopping experience I’ve ever encountered. The shoes turned out to be not only unwearable but also dangerously hazardous.

Upon trying the shoes, I immediately realized how unstable they were. They caused me to fall multiple times, even just standing in them to take photos for customer service. I was shocked that such an unsafe item could be sold on a platform that claims to vet its sellers and products. The seller’s listing failed to disclose how unbalanced and unfit the shoes were for wear.

When I contacted customer support to report this issue, I was told that since the item “matched the pictures and description,” they couldn’t accept a return. What they failed to acknowledge is that the hazard and instability of these shoes cannot be discerned from photos alone.

To make matters worse, the representative suggested I relist the dangerous shoes on the platform, essentially passing on this unsafe product to another unsuspecting buyer. This solution is not only unethical but shows a complete lack of accountability from Vestiaire Collective.

As a loyal customer who trusted this platform, I am appalled by their response. Instead of prioritizing customer safety and satisfaction, they’re asking me to fix their oversight by reselling the shoes myself.

I would never recommend Vestiaire Collective to anyone after this experience. Their lack of customer care, failure to ensure product safety, and inability to resolve this issue in a responsible manner have completely destroyed my trust in their platform. If you value your safety and expect ethical practices from a company, stay far away from Vestiaire Collective.

This was an expensive purchase, and I am left with a product I can neither use nor ethically sell. It’s unacceptable. I will be reporting this issue to consumer protection agencies and spreading awareness to warn others.

Buyer beware—this platform does not prioritize your safety or satisfaction.
