This is not accurate. The medication you ordered is prescription-only, and we cannot legally supply it without a valid prescription, which you didn't have.
There are four clear warnings on the product page explaining that a prescription is required before ordering. Despite this, you placed your order without one. When we explained that we could not dispatch prescription-only medication without the required prescription, your email tone became abusive.
The £3 charge referred to is not a “restocking fee”. It is the payment processing/admin fee set out in our terms and conditions, and it is not refunded to us when an order is cancelled. We do not think it is fair that our business should lose money because you ignored multiple warnings and expected us to supply prescription medication unlawfully.
We are always happy to help customers who place legal orders, but we will not break the law.

Thank you for your review. We are very sorry that you feel this way, especially as we understand how important your dog’s heart medication is.
However, we do need to clarify that the delay was not caused by us. Your vet specifically required the original paper prescription to be posted to us before we could dispense the medication, which is a safeguard against prescription fraud. Until we received the original prescription in the post, we were legally unable to supply the medication.
Although you contacted us several times, we explained each time that we could not break the law by dispensing prescription-only medication without first receiving the valid original prescription required by your vet. As soon as the original paper prescription arrived with us, we dispatched the medication within an hour.
We are genuinely disappointed to receive a 1-star review in these circumstances, as there was no delay on our side and we acted as quickly as legally possible once the correct prescription was received.

Such an easy ordering process, and very prompt delivery. Really competitive on price too. All in all, very happy with the service.

This was the first order I have made from vet dispense, very easy to order and quick delivery. I would highly recommend ordering from Vetdispense and I will definitely use again for my dogs probiotic sachets next month. I would suggest vetdispense to have promo/discount codes for customers on general pet goods.
