Very easy process. Cost £99 Saving £150 compared to Veterinary practice. Quick response time. Filled out the application form online. Prompt email response from Liam (local vet) with info required. Emailed my vet to request an email confirming my dog's health record to be sent to local vet, confirming vaccinations. Requested an appointment to scan the dog for microchip & sign AHC. Appointment was confirmed following payment. Local vet in Weston Super Mare. You will be sent a what3words link to a public car park, Either download what3words app or open link via google maps.
Liam was very friendly & professional, he arrived on time, he was very helpful & explained the process fully & what we were required to do on exiting & re-entering the UK. I would definitely use this service again & would recommend Liam. This is much less stressful & easier than having to drive to a vets practice nr the port, ensuring you arrive before they close & finding a parking space for your motorhome or car. Thoroughly recommend this service

I was very apprehensive about using vet home certs as i normally go through my vet , which this time was quoted £230 .
I filled out the relevant form on line i had to forward medical records which my vet was more than happy to do so , we then was given an appointment and a location pick up point this was located on a road in a town not far from me , at this point i was still very anxious as we was travelling in 2 days time.
We arrived at the location and Nicola a qualified vet was there to greet us who then scanned our dog’s microchip and went through the paperwork before we signed.
The whole process went smoothly i would highly recommend and definitely will be using this company in the near future.

Fabulous service. I was a little nervous using an online vet and meeting up in a pre arranged meeting place but the process could not be simpler. I just followed the instructions and met Miriam as arranged. I received a text message confirming the appointment which gave me added peace of mind.
My AHC was checked alongside my dogs microchip at Portsmouth and everything was in order. Miriam explained the home journey process and noted down where the worming tablet had to be recorded too.
I would definitely recommend this service. Not only was it easy to use but also a fraction of the cost compared to visiting a vet practice.

Everything went as described, really smooth and pleasant experience. Indeed costed £99 which saved me about £200, got our time and place to meet the vet who was super kind, explained everything and gave the paperwork. We travelled already and everything was ok at the crossing. Will use this company again for sure

I started the process of applying for an Animal Health Certificate (AHC) 12 days ahead of our travel date, following their advice that an AHC is only valid if done 10 days before travel. Vets Home Certs offered me an appointment for the day before departure — which felt far too last-minute. When I asked for an earlier appointment (in case of any issues needing correction), I was told this would be considered an "urgent request" and would cost double (£199). This felt unreasonable given the notice I had already given.

Throughout the process, my reasonable concerns were met with rigid and unhelpful responses. I had already invested time and effort completing their preliminary steps, only to be left feeling dismissed and unsupported. Ultimately, this experience was frustrating and a complete waste of time. I would not recommend using this service.

Great service and so much cheaper than my local vet. We travelled with our two dogs to France on 24th March and the paperwork was all correct and we had no problems whatsoever. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this service.
