I love their shoes until I just got my poor quality new pair
I love their shoes until I just got my new pair of gingham flats. The quality is not good. I wished I’d sent them back. The “ canvas” on the shoe is see through and I can actually see my toes! The soles just came out after wearing the shoes about 10 times or less. Never again.
Nice clothing, outrages return fees
Clothing of Vince in my opinion is very nice, i bought some items locally from stores in Norway or via Net a Porter, the Outnet, also in London stores. Now- I got several things online and this is first time I am sending back a skirt and oh lord- 40 Euros return shipping!!! Are you serious? Competitors either do it for free or use max 15 Eur fee with DHL which is best company to ship with. What a joke- Vince just missed a customer that spent thousand of pounds over few years.
Premium prices, poor quality, no accountability
I bought two Vince short-sleeve sweaters for over $300 each and followed the care instructions exactly, including hand washing cold. Both sweaters shrank after washing and never returned to their original fit or shape.
For a brand positioned at this price level, that is unacceptable. If a garment cannot withstand the brand’s own recommended care instructions, then either the quality is poor or the care guidance is misleading.
I contacted customer service, sent photos, and provided proof of purchase. Their reply was quick, but they refused to offer any resolution because too much time had passed since the purchase. That told me everything I needed to know about how Vince stands behind its products.
The cost of making this right for two shirts would have been small. Instead, they lost me as a lifetime customer. I will not buy Vince again.
Non Existent Follow Up
I placed an order on December 30. Once I'd placed the order I did not get a shipping update but did check tracking myself a few times. Finally January 16 I connected with some difficulty to customer service. They were polite but very boilerplate in their politeness ie I care (but not really). I waited another 6 days to learn UPS had lost the package. At that point, I just asked for a refund. I'm surprised they have no follow up on their orders and leave it to clients to search on their own to learn the status of their shipments. It's annoying to be bombarded daily with ads while receiving no updates on your current order. Will not shop at Vince again.
An average “luxury” brand
Super nice design, heavy prices and average quality.
Bought a LS tshirt and after two times use you can see the wear at the neck and under the arms.
Despite the fancy design it’s a first and last for me.
Terrible quality and worse customer service
I purchased several items from Vince.com. Two pairs of pants that after two wears and owning them 6 weeks began to fall apart. I reached out to Vince because in my past experience of purchasing this brand at Nordstrom I did not have quality issues. I was told because it was past 30 days of purchase there was nothing they were going to do. No exchange, no credit and no refund. $400 pants should not be falling apart after two wears in six weeks. If I had purchased from Nordstrom they would have let me return them. Because of the terrible customer service and obvious quality issues I will no longer purchase Vince from anywhere.
I bought a Vince sweater on EBay and…
I bought a Vince sweater on EBay and was manufactured in China. I must say their sizing for large is more like a 2x and now dislike the brand made in China.
Their customer service is non-existent
Their customer service is non-existent. Placed an order over a week ago and have contacted thiem 3 times about the status. It takes them up to 3 days to respond and each response appears to b a scripted answer pretty much stating they have no idea where my order is. For all I know there is no customer service but a simple AI bot.
Not sure why all the hate
Not sure why everyone is slamming Vince. I buy their clothes all the time. Look great, feel great, fit great and solid quality. Price is high - but if you wait, sales come around and if you're lucky enough to have a Vince outlet store near you, you'll get incredible deals.
Vince's quality has gone way down and…
Vince's quality has gone way down and they do not back up their products or their quality. I intentionally avoid fast fashion and choose to spend more to get quality clothes that last years. Unfortunately Vince has become just very expensive fast fashion that does not hold up. $400 dress fell apart on the first wear and Vince told me it was my problem. I should find a seamstress and there was nothing they can do. Now looking back I realize several items have had small things go wrong. The lins has become very low quality.
Do not waste your money
Do not waste your money. That’s all I have to write. Hundreds of dollars on clothes that falls apart on you after several wears.
Vince doesn’t stand behind its name.
Terrible quality--excessive pilling, unwearable and awful customer service
I bought a wool and cashmere Vince sweater from a retailer in my home town. The sweater is lovely and soft and a beautiful style. But it is entirely unwearable. The material pills horribly after only a couple of hours of wear. It requires constant de-pilling despite being washed in cold water by hand and laid flat to dry. A $500 sweater that is not possible to wear for more than one hour at a time--unacceptable! And Vince customer service is horrendous. They just sent me a list of instructions on how to care for my garment (things I already do). They suggested that the reason for the pilling is the high quality of the cashmere! This is hilarious. I have many cashmere sweaters, scarves and pashminas and none of them have the extensive pilling problem of the Vince sweater. This is just a poor quality product and Vince does NOT stand behind it.
Made an online purchase from Vince and…
Made an online purchase from Vince and did not receive product. UPS placed order in Amazon locker and code did not work. Told by Vince to file claim with UPS. Vince not helping. Terrible customer service. Over $2000 in lost product and they tell me they can’t help? Really? Some kind of agreement with UPS so I’m left to fend for myself!!! Do not buy on line or you may suffer the same thing
I bought some Vince wool sweaters 6…
I bought some Vince wool sweaters 6 years ago and they are still gorgeous.
I bought two new one this year and the wool quality is awful. I worw one three times and it is already losing its shape. And the wool is piling.
The quality went down. The price isn't worth it anymore
Terrible Return/Refund Experience
Trying to return a shirt, worn once and covered in pills and some snags. Clearly a material quality defect. Vince Store (Tysons Galleria) can’t take returns or issue refunds, told all returns/refunds have to go through customer service. Still trying to get some satisfaction. Just received an email this evening that pilling occurs after normal wear and tear and told how to remove it! Purchased 9/18/24, worn 9/27/24. Looks horrible.
Vince charges shipping both ways which is most customer unfriendly
I ordered a sweatshirt which was quite expensive for a sweatshirt and shipping plus taxes (I live in Germany) made it even more expensive but I thought, well, Vince means good quality. The sweatshirt arrived and I was extremely disappointed because the color was not nudish as on the website but more like light brown. So I decided to return it. I learned that Vince doesn't cover return shipping and I will also not get my taxes back. All in all, I paid 51 € yesterday just for shipping a very light item which I had ordered because the color on the website looked different. Plus another approx. 40 € for initial shipping and taxes. Won't ever order anything from Vince again, usually customers pay either shipping to/from, but not both.
The quality has gone down the drain…alitu
The quality has gone down the drain when they changed there tees for women Peru to China. Sizing way too big and no more 100% cotton. Greed over quality.
Do not buy from this company online
Do not buy from this company online! Non-existent customer service. They do not answer their phones or email.
I wish I would have read reviews before buying. I assumed at their price point, and Vince products that I have bought via Nordstrom, that they would have some type of customer service. They do not.
You need an order number for a return. You will not be able to find your order number in any email, or packing slip. And obviously you aren’t going to get it from Customer Service.
Worst experience I have ever had
Worst experience I have ever had. I contacted them 5 min after making a wrongful order and they could not stop the shipment even though the item wasn’t shipped until 2 days later.
*3rd Party Order (Harrods)
I bought through Harrods so I can’t attest to what people are going through with the Vince website, they definitely have my sympathy, so one star off for solidarity. But my silk shirt is absolutely beautiful quality and faultless, very pleased.
