I received a random e-mail from a David…

I received a random e-mail from a David Lawrence, saying:

"Recently, myself or one of my team may have connected with you on LinkedIn; thanks first of all for sharing your network and I hope our updates or network can be of use to you.

We would like to learn more about your career aspirations; ...
Sharing some of your preferences will help us to contact you about more relevant roles, event and networking opportunities and market insights. "

And then a button to click: "Share your preferences"

I made no such connection on LinkedIn, nor am I connected to any of their employees listed on linkedin. They seem to be randomly spamming email addresses which seems quite untrustworthy.
