Absolute rip-off
Absolute rip-off. I sent 3 watches, worth just under £5,000. They offered me £64!!!. When they messaged me with the ' offer ',and I declined it, they had the gall to message me saying ' do you really want to lose your £64 '??. Really?? Absolute rip-off. DO NOT USE!!!!

Second time was a bad experience.
Contrary to my previous review, my second experience was a complete contrast. From parcel pick-up, which Royal Mail couldn’t trace at first, to the parcel being received. The valuation was an insult, but I accepted as I couldn’t be bothered to get the items returned. Was given the excuse that the value can change daily. What a difference!!
However, I have one more box being sent, so it will be interesting to see what the offer is.

For more than 6 weeks we have been struggling to get our 'stolen' items back from VCC. Citizens Advice say it is not techinically theft but breach of contract but, as far as we are concerned, they have not returned items valued at £300 and claim they never received them, so they lie too. In fact, they have currently closed our case saying they have checked the CCTV footage and we never sent the items to begin with. This is easy for them to say as they have no process for you itemising what you are sending, they do not acknowledge what you sent, so this is open to abuse and we, like others before us, are the victims. They are not making huge profits by actually paying you what your items are worth, if they don't steal them in the first place. If you are going to use them, make sure you list and photograph everything you send. Keep the receipt for the postage and make sure you get the weight. Our box came back significantly lighter than the one we sent and we made the mistake of throwing away the receipt just days before the majority of it was returned. Don't say you haven't been warned.
Update: It is true that Customer Services have looked at this case but they just keep denying that we sent the items and will not share the CCTV footage with us, because they know it will show that they DID receive the missing items.

Vintage cash cow updated me regularly after I sent the parcel to them - the value I received was very fair and when I had phoned to ask for a breakdown they were very helpful. All in all a wonderful experience. Now awaiting payment which is promised in the next two days.
