I ordered a Teflon bone folder on a Tuesday, after closing, and it was delivered Thursday….from Orkney to the mainland!
The bone folders (2) were very competitively priced and of excellent quality
We needed to make repairs to one of my daughter's books that got damaged when she recently moved. Not of any value except sentiment, we agreed to attempt it ourselves.
The instructional videos at Vintage Paper are first class as was the delivery - we didn't need huge reels of tape (for ONE book!) but the order for two types of repair tape (P90 and P) came swiftly in a secure cardboard box.
Not sure I'll ever need their services again but if I do then I know where to come.

I ordered a genuine bone folder direct from the company after finding the product I wanted unavailable/out of stock via Amazon and being impressed by the excellent reviews I read there.
Firstly, the item was CHEAPER by going direct to Vintage Paper Co, and secondly, the customer service was excellent. Immediate confirmation of purchase from them and updates when item was dispatched. Very quick delivery and the presentation when I opened the package was superb. It screamed quality and I can only imagine, from the preview that I sampled within the parcel presentation, that their handmade papers (and all other products) will be of the finest quality. Sadly I will probably not have any need to order any hand-made paper from them due to the type of crafts I'll be making, but if anyone is reading this preview to gauge the quality of the service and products this company offers, then I would confidently suggest that it will be top-notch.
The bone folder itself is beautiful to handle, gives a super crisp fold and is truly excellent value for money.

This is a small company based in Orkney. They stock vintage paper for artwork and bookbinding, bookbinding kits, sketchbooks, marbled paper, archive repair tapes, etc.
Many of their archive papers can be from the 1850's to the 1970's
If you are looking for a special paper for a printmaking project or watercolours they are a great resource.
Great service and very fast delivery from Orkney.
