A great service for those who want to expand their collection, and discover albums that you might not have previously thought of listening to.

I was given a three month subscription as a gift for Father's Day and have now received all 3 boxes. The process of ordering the boxes was smooth, with an email sent when it was time to choose. On selecting a box I was able to veto any albums that I didn't want to receive - I believe that I only had to veto once as I already owned the album - the choices were varied and exceptional.

It is fair to say that some of the albums I wouldn't have personally purchased, however on playing them I was pleasantly surprised and thoroughly enjoyed them.

I did have an issue with one Album which was skipping on the initial play. I emailed to ask if I could return the album and received a quick reply to advise me how to proceed. However, when I played the album again it didn't skip so I was happy to keep it.

Overall I have been very happy with the albums and service that I received from VinylBox and am very tempted to continue my subscription (Just don't tell the wife 😉)

I’ve been a subscriber for a couple months now and I must say I keep being surprised by what keeps being delivered
I started off with a 90s hip hop box and received 3 classic LPs
The second month there wasn’t really much in the way of things I wanted but the option to skip a month was incredibly handy
Month 3, and I chose the Anthemic Pop & R&B box, again 3 great albums received!!

Can’t wait to see this months new selections

Great way to build up my vinyl collection and discover new artists! Also the editions are amazing with many colored discs that gives a Wow effect on the platine. Customer service has been brilliant in sorting out a delivery issue (vinyl sleeve was slightly damaged)!

Really love the idea and is working well so far. Do find the website a bit 'janky' particularly on mobile. Be good to have on your profile what box you've chosen that month and in the past. An app might help so you get notifications of when to choose your next box

VinylBox has proven to be a great way to grow your vinyl collection passively. It’s great to come home to new records to listen to. Being introduced to albums I may otherwise not have come across or bought adds a nice element of surprise to an already enjoyable hobby. Not to mention the savings granted by subscription over buying the albums individually from retailers sweetens the deal even further. Although I am quite early into my VinylBox subscription I can already say I would happily recommend this to other vinyl collectors.

Great way to discover new music however some months selections are better than others. theres usually one gem delivered that makes the experience worth it

Firstly, the "pros". I love the idea of the service. It's a great way to expand your music collection. Deliveries are always prompt, and there is a good selection each month.
The "cons". I feel like the website could be a lot better and easier to navigate. The account options are somewhat hidden and I feel like viewing past boxes and selections is tricky. Another con I have to mention, (and I'm sure it doesn't apply to most,) is that on my last order, I received both of the albums I specifically Vetod. Support has offered me a replacement, but this shouldn't have happened in the first place... Other than that, I would recommend!

Real easy to use, only had it for a month and there was a bit of trouble picking my vinyls the first month but moving forward it was fine.

Was really really easy to use, turned up in good time. You are given the option to choose from a genre type and discard albums you really wouldn’t want. Just wish the selection was a little larger so you have a better chance of receiving one you may want.

Great selection and a perfect gift for my partner who is a music lover with a wide interest.

Brilliant experience from a service I didn't know existed. Very much enjoyed the albums I received, selection process was easy and clear. I like the idea that you don't know exactly what's in the box, it's a nice surprise and can open you up to new music

I have received two boxes so far and I'm very pleased with the service. I've received a good mix of albums so far and discovered some new favourites. The customer service team has always replied promptly to any queries I have so my experience has been consistently positive overall.

Reading some of these reviews I don't know what people actually thought they were signing up for! I personally have had a great experience using Vinyl Box. First month I received two Limited Edition albums, one worth £40 and the other £30. Second month, two albums I wouldn't have chosen specifically but, limited edition versions and I stuck them on and really enjoyed them. Thats part of the fun. I get it can be expensive if you don't actually want the album you receive but if you're not open to the idea then I don't think its for you.

I've enjoyed it. Only thing I would like is for the Magazines included to have a bit more substance to the. I think you could create some great content for the little magazine. I really enjoy sitting and reading it while the Vinyl is playing. Just wish it was a bit longer!

Excellent value for money IF you get the records you want, I have had a few really great months, and a few not-so-great months in terms of not getting what I preferred, but that's the luck of the draw.

I would recommend that all vinyl fans try this for themselves as you can get some great albums at a great price, but just be prepared to get a few you don't like, that you may have to sell on ebay later

Best subscription box for people starting to collect vinyls and looking to expand their music tastes. I have found so many new artists I enjoy that I wouldn't have discovered otherwise and the price of a record is cheaper than going to the record store. Recently they have also started adding a booklet with inisghts into each album, which has been delightful to read

The concept is great but execution can be a bit hit and miss. One month they ran out of the selection we had chosen but didn’t tell us we had to contact them to get an alternative selection. That said the selections are great the vinyl is prime quality
