Wish there was a zero

Wish there was a zero! This company needs to be looked at. They continue to rip people off and when they cause damage to you car they take no responsibility. Corporate office in Lexington says they perform an investigation and as long as the local Valvoline manager says they did an investigation they stand by them. My mechanic told the manager on the phone that damages to my car were from them. Manager said investigation was done and they found nothing. He completely lied and corporate did nothing. I was left with nearly 500 in damages. DO NOT GO HERE! They don’t take accountability for the work they do. I have attempted several times for them correct this wrong. U

Don't take your precious vehicle to there location

This is one horrible company and there regional manager - Grallian Harbaugh is also a horrible person. They have totaled my engine on my car, the manager at the location agreed to put me in a rental which they did until they fixed my car. they forgot to close my oil seal and my engine knocked totaling the engine. I had to come out of pocket to get the damages fixed and a new engine which set me so far behind on my bills and I'm still working things out. here's the kicker this was last year 6/23 to 9/23 that I dealt with this. The rental car provided was from enterprise and it is 6/6/24 and I'm receiving a invoice directly from Enterprise saying Valvoline refuse to pay and the bill falls on myself. This is one horrid company and I'm tired of hearing about them screwing people over because they have bigger pockets. Do not take your car there or if something happens they will leave you with that bill. sigining out a p'd off former customer

Finally have a place to service my cars and feel comfortable there.

I have been taking my three vehicles to Valvoline on Andover St.in Peabody for quite a while. There are two people there that should be recognized as outstanding, Joe and Jason (I don't know their last names). they are so knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to my service requirements without any high pressure. I can't say enough about how happy I am to be rid of the car dealers high pressure and prices.

Bare bones service now with “new crew”

Valvoline Instant Oil Change - I’ve been a customer at the Belden Village location for over 25 years. I just left that location after my conventional oil change, INV # 212947.
Friday 5/31/24 at 2:30 pm was the busiest I’ve seen. I heard the whole crew had been replaced last time I was there. (The current mgr is Austin ).
I guess they did their job quickly, but what I didn’t like was the stern MILITARY attitude of the employees that serviced my vehicle.
I felt that maybe even a very slight smile & welcome was appropriate but what I got was the presence of an army barracks instead. I had to ask if my tires were checked, asked if my air filter was ok, I don’t even know if they topped off my fluids. They didn’t say anything but “turn off your vehicle & how will you be paying.”
Then I was motioned to leave. As I pulled out I said “hey a little less serious” to which Bart answered “we’re really busy” and I left as I said “ just lighten up a little bit “.

Valvoline destroyed my car.

Valvoline destroyed my car.

I recently brought my car to valvoline for an oil change, before I left the technicians pointed out a massive coolant leak that wasn't present when I arrived, they ignored it and told me I should get it fixed somewhere else, 15 miles after I left my car died in a puff of smoke, the engine is completely fried, oil leaking all over the road. the manager concluded that it wasn't their fault that my car just happened to start leaking oil while they were doing my oil change and they refused to take any action to correct the issue.

absolute garbage service, now I am without a car.

If you are planning to use Valvoline…

If you are planning to use Valvoline oil change service, please read my note to their corporate office before using them -

I just came back from your new location in Indian Land, SC where I wanted to get my oil changed on my 2018 Subaru Outback Limited with 46000 miles.

After 5 minutes under the car by your staff, I was told that they could not change my oil because the drain plug was starting to get rounded and wanted me to get the part as "their supplies were not in yet". I responded that they should get the part as the oil has been changed 6 times and this was never an issue.

Spending 5 plus minutes seems to indicate that they did not have the correct tool/ knowledge to remove a simple, straight forward part.

I feel that it is your responsibility to resolve this at a location that has experienced personnel that honors their 50% off grand opening price vs. a bunch of polite, but very young kids who obviously have little experience.

I look forward to having this issue resolved.

Thank you,

THEIR RESPONSE - ZERO. THEIR RESPONSE TO SECOND NOTE PLACED ON THEIR SITE - ZERO.

It is clear that Valvoline has no interest in addressing legitimate customer issues and, frankly, their blatant, f... You attitude shows the integrity ( or lack thereof ) they have corporately.

Horrible experience!

Went in for a simple oil change on the Friday before Mother's Day. The technician broke off the pull handle for my dipstick! They had to pry out the handle and then try to find a dipstick for me at a parts store nearby. That part store did not have the correct one. It is 12:30 noon right now. I've been here for over an hour in the heat sitting in my car waiting. Due to the age of my vehicle, I can't sit with the air conditioner running. I've just been told it will be 5:00 p.m. before they can have a dipstick here. I live 20 miles away and only drove here to get this oil change from Valvoline in Claremore. I'm an elderly senior citizen . I asked if they are going to Discount my oil change by at least half for all of the trouble , inconvenience , and Heat this is putting me through . Unbelievably, the manager said no. I will never ever use this Valvoline shop nor any other Valvoline shop again.

I would give negative stars if I could.

I would give negative stars if I could.
They overfilled the oil in my car, it’s clearly above the safe line and they tried telling me to my face that’s it’s fine. My car keeps flashing check guages, overheating, and the radiator hose almost exploded. “Cameras don’t lie” said the guy, but no one has confirmed the video outside of that specific store. I don’t trust a single employee there, nor will I ever go to a Valvoline again. 2 Days ago I spoke to customer care, which organized them coming out to my house. I was told someone would call me at 8 am when they opened to have someone out, but I had to call around 10:15 and asked when that would be happening. I was told they would be on their way in a few minutes. An hour goes by, I call, they said they’re on their way! The store is 9 minutes from my house. They arrived 30 minutes after that. That’s when I was told the overfilled line was fine. I know what it can do to your engine. Customer care also told me they would send my car to a different mechanic if it did in-fact need repairs. The guy who came to my house basically told me that they’re a joke, and they lied about that. He wanted to DRIVE it back to the store to change out the oil? Y’all came to my house because it’s NOT DRIVEABLE. Also, to add, I just recently moved to york and now i’m forced to stay in lancaster because i work here and literally cannot go to my home. Please Please Please, do not go to Valvoline. No one in there is trustworthy, even the company. They’re denying my claims, and am now forced to get a lawyer because this is my only means of transportation.

I'm so very disappointed in Valvoline's…

I'm so very disappointed in Valvoline's Duval St in Renton Washington location. They admittedly added coolant to my daughter's BMW 325i vehicle and then the heater stopped working. Don't know if that is cause they added the wrong kind... Also, they dropped an air filter clamp into the engine which then rattled around causing damage. And they damaged the skid plate as well. They said they'd order the skid plate & clamp & fix that but "their Internet was down yesterday" so they can't confirm they did anything wrong with the coolant. The tech who worked on it said he did add coolant but he was silenced by his manager. I've been going here for years but they have a new manager. This never would have happened with the previous manager & if something went wrong, he'd have been honest & fixed it immediately.
Jason is the assistant manager here now & he seems to be dishonest. I know the Internet (& therefore their cameras) was working yesterday cause the tech that did my oil change was looking online for a coupon for me. It was working when we were there. I am so deeply disappointed :-( now I can't trust them and I would suggest that anyone who goes there be careful & pay close attention.

Went in with my perfect 2020 Toyota…

Went in with my perfect 2020 Toyota Prius. original owner . bought brand new, always has the best care. Always serviced at the dealer. But this one time was in a rush thought I could get In-N-Out with a quick oil change. Hence, the name, an absolute nightmare when in with no leagues came out with a Leaky drain plug. Voiced, my complaint got the runner round. Nobody wants to responsibility made a claim had to have over $500 and repairs to replace the oil PAN. As the damage could not be repaired so it needed an entire new oil PAN over $500. Which I got a deal or else it would have been more. And Valvoline doesn't want any responsibility. But the car was perfect before I got there and I left with the damage. I do not recommend this place nor will I ever be able to. They can't be trusted and they don't tell the truth and they don't stand behind their mistakes. Or whatever else you might call this. If you choose to go there I would be very careful if you cherish your vehicle. This is the world in which we live.Unfortunately, you can't trust anybody to do what they're supposed to do.You're paying For a service and then you have to put up with all of this not cool. Incidentally, the more I tried to reach out for help. The more I got thrown under the bus. It became a worse nightmare. They never offered me anything for the trouble. Only donly denied responsibility. The whole time also, my car was completely inspected just a few weeks before that and always service at the dealer and I confirmed with both places. As I already knew, there was never any leaking problems or no other issues of any kind, anywhere.

The valvoline on 350 hwy Raytown …

The valvoline on 350 hwy Raytown was very polite courteous fast knowledgeable and well trained with their service. There was a shop manager that was highly skilled and guided the staff in everything that was done to your vehicle. My comfort level went from 65% now to 92%. I will definitely return to this valvoline with out hesitation.

First and last time that I went to a Valvoline…

Today 3-30-24 I went to a Valvoline point on Tamiami trail east in Naples FL for a oil change and besides it was pretty expensive, they found that my cabin air filter needed to be replaced. I accepted to have it replaced but I didn't receive any receipt there and when I ask for it they said it will appear on my e-mail. I arrived at home and was surprised by the amount not expecting to pay $152 which $60 was for the cabin air filter that the store next door sell them for $11 and anywhere else was sold at no more then $12. This is a rip off. I would never use their service again.

Valvoline Transmission Service Review

Valvoline Transmission Service Review: Buyer Beware! 🌟

I recently visited the Valvoline service center in Lombard for a transmission fluid change on my Acura. What should have been a routine maintenance task turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience.

The Incident: After leaving the service center, I noticed a significant amount of transmission fluid had leaked onto my garage floor. Concerned, I checked the fluid level using the indicator stick, and to my surprise, it still showed as “full.” How could this be when there were clearly 2 to 3 quarts missing?

The Receipt: Upon reviewing the receipt, I discovered that the technician had poured in a whopping 10 quarts of transmission fluid! Keep in mind that Acura’s official requirement is a mere 3 quarts. It felt like they were trying to drown my poor Acura!

The Conversation: I called Valvoline to express my concern. Instead of accountability, I got a runaround. The technician nonchalantly claimed that my fluid level was “fine.” Fine? Really? I asked him where the mysterious 3 quarts in my garage came from, and his brilliant response was, “I don’t know.” Not exactly reassuring.

The Verdict: Folks, save yourself the headache. Spend the extra bucks and head to the dealer. At least there, you’ll find some semblance of accountability. Valvoline? Well, they seem to operate in a parallel universe where fluid levels defy physics.
