Why would anyone recommend it??
I don’t know why all the travel blogs and things you found in Google kept recommending Vodafone in Greece. The company is horrible and useless. When I bought it from a young lady selling Vodafone SIM cards at metro exits, she told me it would be up in a couple hours, but it took two whole days for the freaking SIM card to be activated. I suspect it’s because they don’t work over weekends to activate your card!!! There’s no English help or support page, I had to use Google translate to get the AI support to get me a live agent, who actually can understand English. The rep did nothing besides telling me it’ll be ready in two days! In this day and age what could possibly take two days in their system to activate a card? Do they need the approval from the EU parliament? When the card is finally activated it’s never been faster then 3G and often running on Vodafone edge which basically means no data. I have no experience using other carrier in Greece but Vodafone sucks.
Vodafone Eth. Antistaseos 89-91, Chalandri 152 31
I was greeted at the door by a young Greek man who seemed to have an attitude with everyone trying to enter the shop. As a first impression and in a sales environment, this is simply not acceptable. When my turn came I was asked to provide my vaccine certificate, which I showed and he said “it’s always the same with tourists”, I explained that I have 2 vaccines and over 100 pcr tests, the latest being 3 days ago which I showed him on the government application of my country. Unfortunately this wasn’t acceptable and he wanted to see my passport, which I believed was at home, I suggested that I show him another form of ID, which he didn’t accept. Luckily, I found my passport in my bag, I was handed over to another member of staff as he was now being aggressive towards me.
I entered the store and was handed over to a young lady who had been educated in the UK, she had all the right qualities to be in a forward facing sales role, she was polite, humble and someone I wanted to give my money to. Kudos to her approach and I’m sure she will go far in life with this approach.
I asked for the aggressive boys name, but it couldn’t be given to me, I want the team to learn from my review and cannot blame the aggressive person as it is the responsibility of his manager to train him properly or find him a more suitable position that isn’t customer facing. The manager actually just stood by and watched him, without any intervention.
I have 30 years of commercial experience and have managed retail sales team of 100+, I am aware that sometimes people have bad days and as a manager, you need to step in and take action to avoid any customer conflict. After all, as a customer we have the right to go elsewhere, customers generally buy from people that they like and offer a good experience. My experience was tainted from the start and turned around by the young lady, one bad egg can ruin a business.
The worst internet company I have ever been on!
For two weeks now I do not have internet access. They "try" to fix the problem for two weeks now... And I won't even make a comment about the internet stability... So I advice you, if you want a good internet company, then Vodafone surely isn't one of them.
Maybe the worst
Maybe the worst. Without maybe. The speed is slower than death, the people you talk to (if lucky) ignore your complaints and keep doing the same procedures that never change anything in effect. I can't wait for my contract to finish. Avoid it at all cost.
Completely unreliable company with the…
Completely unreliable company with the worst connections in Greece, by far.
If you’re new in Greece and looking forward a reliable company, stay away from Vodafone. If you work with the internet, like I do, you’ll just constantly be dealing with no connections, delusional Custormer Service and they’ll constantly try and keep you with lies and them never solving the issue.
Im waiting for 100mbps wifi for 4 month
Im waiting for 100mbps wifi for 4 month
Unacceptable
If you can't provide the speeds that…
If you can't provide the speeds that you sell don't sell them! To write that you can provide 15mbps to a 24 mbps line and eventually to have 3mbps in the centre of the city just a few meters away from your store is ridiculous! And to come to one of your stores and having your employee tell me with attitude to do a request to get 4-5mbps when I pay for 24mbps...If you can't provide what you say let's all go to a company that does! This is just consumer misleading
Can't decide which of the three companies is worst
App does not always work.
Cannot reach a representative easily.
Fees are expensive for what they offer in Greece compared to other countries.
Better to stay away from them
Better to stay away from them. We had so many issues in my company due to false information from them and there isn't any kind of technical support. They don't even care to call by themselves for issues caused by them. You will spend hours waiting to talk with their support without actually resolving the issues any time soon (or ever).
Worste company ever!
Worste company ever!! If ypu are a foreigner coming to Athens, stay away from them. Vodafone International attracts people with the lowest price when doing the contract, but then they steal your money every month for services you don't even know the existemce, no way of checking your bill account. Customer service inexistent: there is no way of speaking to a human and the app don't recognize English. It is better to pay a bit more at the beginning tamd go with another companies than being stolen from Vodafone!!!
VERY BAD network
VERY BAD TECHICAL SUPPORT
ONLY POLITE AND BLA BLA BUT NEVER RESOLVE ANY PROBLEM COSE HAVE BAD NETWORK IN GREECE
WITH THIS NETWORK I CANT PLAY MY GAME FLAWLESS ALL TIME I HAVE DISCONNECTS FROM GAME SERVERS .... i change company asap
The website developer and head office…
The website developer and head office deserves to be flogged in Syntagma Square. Absolute trash of a company.
Dear Vodafone
Dear Vodafone . Lytra Konstantina
This is an email/message to say that the service i have received from you/Vodafone is the worst i have experienced !!!
All lies .... Where do i begin ... You told me that i would be informed days before when i would be due to chance over ( THIS NEVER HAPPENED ) COSMOTE just stopped the line !! so that meant i had no services !!!
This is a hotel that needs and works with telephones / internet ... you told me that there would be an engineer coming out to install the router ( THAT NEVER HAPPENED ) EITHER !!!!
So we had nothing !!!!!
I couldn't even call COSMOTE as i had no landline ... i then called them on my mobile i had to top up my credit on my mobile ( COST 10 EUROS ) to talk to them ..They told me i was no longer a customer of theirs ..
That my contract had stopped .. So, then i had to call Vodafone ... my credit ran out again .. ( HAD TO TOP UP 10 EUROS ) COAT SO FAR 20 EUROS !!! plus, my time and stress !!
They told me i was with Vodafone now .. ( I SAID I WAS NOT INFORMED .. WHERE WAS THE ENGINEER TO SETUP MY ROUTER !!!! ( WAS TOLD NO ENGINEER WOULD BE COMING TO SET IT UP THAT I HAD TO DO IT MY SELF
YOU TOLD ME THAT THERE WOULD BE AN ENGINEER COMING TO SET ALL UP !!! ( NEVER HAPPENED ) NO TV EITHER ... SO GOING ON ????
AS I SAID THE LIST GOES ON AND ON ...
SO WHAT I WANT IS NOT TO BE ASSOCIATED WITH YOU ARE VODAFONE .. JUST LIES LIES AND MORE LIES TO GET A SALE ...
AFTER MY CALLS TO VODAFONE, THEY SENT ME AN ENGINEER OUT .. BUT ONLY TO CHECK THE SPEED NO DIFFERENCE AS COSMOTE ... ( COSMOTE HAS SAID THAT THERES NO WAY THAT YOU COULD GIVE ME 40/50 MB
YOU HAD SAID AND I HAVE ASKED YOU A FEW TIMES ABOUT THE SPEED YOU ASSURED ME THAT MY SPEED WOULD BE 40/50 MB )
SO AS I SAID ALL LIES ..
DONT EVEN HAVE THE TV NOW ... THE WORST SERVICE EVERY ...
SO COMSOTE HAS CALLED ME AND ASKED HOW VODAFONE WAS .. I TOLD THEM THE WORST ..
SO I WILL BE RETURING TO COSMOTE ...
I WILL NOT PAY ANYTHING TO VODAFONE EVER .. INFACT YOU SHOULD BE PAYING ME FOR ALL THE STRESS AND INCONVENIENCE .. I WILL ASK MY LAWYER FRIEND WAHT CAN DE DONE ...
THIS EMAIL ALSO WILL BE SENT TO VODAFONE HEAD OFFCE TO INFORM THEM OF THE SERVICE I HAVE RECEIVED FROM YOU AND VODAFONE .. ..

Terrible experience with eu roaming on Crete. Extremely slow LTE (1mbit at max) and almost no coverage.
worst ever internet provider
worst ever internet provider, poorest signal ever, endless frustration.
The most disgusting company I have ever…
The most disgusting company I have ever dealt with. Initially, I went weeks without a stable internet connection due to their technicians messing up, for which I was not compensated. Their internet and mobile connections alike are unreliable throughout Greece. Then, after 8 months, I asked to cancel the contract, and they decided that my punishment will be 260€, which would cost as much as having the contract for 10 more months! The way they treat their customers is truly disturbing. Oh, and they also do not pay their interns. Absolutely disgusting through and through, stay away from Vodafone (I would say anywhere, but definitely in Greece)! Go with a competitor without giving it a second thought, you do not want to be their customer.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!! they offer your programes over the phone and dont give you the opportunity to review offers in writing UNLESS you agree to the offers. They are in a rush to explain, dont answer questions! Dont give you the opportunity to think about the offers and review in your own time!! They brush your questions off and are rude!!!

Trying to renew my Megabytes through telephone call as the Vodafone site was down for 2 days. I had them twice for 31 minutes and they hanged up the phone. Disgraceful.
No signal
I am staying in Planos, Zakynthos, Greece for a week. The internet from Vodafone sucks. Can be good at the beach, but no signal i the city.
