Never received item
Ordered on the 9th of December for Christmas and as of today the 21st I've received zero tracking information or any proof that they actually posted the item.
I emailed them a few days ago and was told that all orders had been shipped after some delay but I now believe that this was a lie. Looks like im gonna have to contact my bank to get my money back.
Still no item as of the 3rd of January. The order was placed on the 9th of December. The created a shipping label on the 24th of December but have not actually shipped the item. Terrible customer service as well.

Haven't received my order
I ordered the voicemod key on the 23rd of November and I still haven't recieved it. After 4 emails they finally told me that they were trying to restock. With less than a week to go, I will have one very disappointed boy on christmas morning. Terrible customer service. They should never have taken my money if they didnt have the stock!

I tried Voicemod pro, didn't like it for more technical reasons, so asked for refund, and had no problems getting my refund. :) Thought i'd post here because i was weary of the reviews but they were pretty fast within 24 hours they processed my request.

Overrides your PC even after deletion.
I tried using voicemod for a fun experience, however, it started to override my audio settings on my PC. Now, normally, this is fine, I mean, after all, it's a voice modding app and needs to override my microphone. The thing is I DON'T EVEN HAVE IT INSTALLED ANYMORE. It just decides to override my microphone when I'm trying to record something or trying to talk on discord. I haven't had it installed for like 3 months now, and it STILL does this. I definitely would not recommend this app.

from my experience the app is incredible
contrary to what others have said
it uses minimal ram and performance
you get tons of things to use when it comes to soundboards
the voice changers are great and even without premium you get to use some premium voices which i love
some of the reviews i have seen are just bad reviews for no reason as they have either been resolved or were not a problem to begin with
love the app im planning on getting premium later as i really like the app

There are free sounds, but every voice changer is pro. They don`t even care about us free users. Go on, say that the freemium model makes it free. They just say it because they want money. This is the voice changer version of CapCut.

Not thought through
Payed for the full version of the app and been using for a year now. It constantly keeps pushing mandatory updates 150-180MB each without a chance to decline it. If you want to use it, you need to do this every time there is an update, no matter what situation you're in. There is no setting to disable automatic checking for updates, or to launch the app without downloading.
After posting this review I was given instructions on how to circumvent this on my computer, and to avoid the updates. However there should be a simple on/off toggle setting instead of a complicated method. Once this gets added, this software deserves 5/5 rating :)

Sorry for your experience, but it's a known issue:
To avoid annoying updates, Voicemod has an automatic update system using an initial launcher that checks for updates, silently installs any needed updates, and runs the latest installed version if none are available.
If the user pins Voicemod once it has opened, they are pinning the latest version that opens the launcher, so it stops opening the launcher itself. So in the next update, you will get an annoying warning that you have to install, and what is worse, even if you update, you will reopen the previous version, which is the one you have pinned in the taskbar.
Another option is that you have been updating Voicemod since before we released the launcher and you still don't have it installed.
Please, follow these steps:
- Check what version of Voicemod you have installed in Windows (you should have a version 1.5.X).
- If you have a version 3.X.X.X you have to uninstall it and install the latest version of the launcher that you will find here: https://www.voicemod.net/en/dwl/app/ ).
- On the other hand, unpin Voicemod from your taskbar and make sure you pin the launcher and not the latest version of Voicemod.
If you are prompted to update it has to be for one of these two reasons.
Buy Without Fear
To be honest, it's pretty good. I just wasn’t using it much, so I refunded. The app is super easy to use and actually pretty cool. Support is fast as hell, though — 100%. I’d definitely buy it again.

Good app, when it works
I use this app to play sound for fun.
I don't use it very often, but every time I want to use it, IT'S NOT WORKING.
I spent 1h hour every time to fix the issue, install / reinstall (the soundboard are local so everything is lost), checking driver, trying everything.
At the end I spent so much fixing the issue that I not longer want to make jokes.
Just pass on the app (more headheack than fun).
For voicemod : I don't understand why the base of your app (virtual audio input) brokes all the time and is not robuste.
And come on, save my soundboard on your database, setting it up every time is a nightmare (and let me use the same soundboard on severals devices).

Bought a lifetime subscription
Bought a lifetime subscription, love the app and its easy to use. I used to have 16GB of RAM, and all of a sudden my apps stop working and there is a lot of usage of RAM. I upgrade it to 40GB of RAM just to see a Voicemod process still taking up a lot of RAM (9GB) which was QtWebEngineProcess. Insane resource usage for a voice changer, not even any of the games I play use this much RAM.

One Time payment did not work.
I tried paying for the One Time deal, it denied my card over and over again even if I tried with other cards.
It then ended up giving me a permanent restriction, are they allergic to money or what?

Good app, easy to use and understand, neglect to free users.
honestly, this app was very fun to use, simple and overall really large variety of sounds and voices,good sound quality mostly, but some things aren't how id like such as searching the sounds cause the limit of sounds for free users screws it up.
Im worried about the bad reviews talking about payments as i enjoyed the app and would buy the subscription.
i have used this app since early 2025, so i used it for around 6 months now
