I got delayed for my derma appointment because of the construction in Majorstuen. I got delayed by 10 minutes and the doctor already left for lunch and i got charged 3k nok the next day for a 15 minute appointment. Since, then i have been trying to reach out to volvat, and they keep redirecting me from one department to the other. And no solution from anyone. I was hoping to get done with co2 and stuff but apparently the focus isn't on healthcare rather on dishing out as much money as possible. I understand that this is totally my responsibility when it comes to being late but being charged full price for the treatment i didn't get is completely outrageous.

The Volvat Clinic is a complete scam. They are taking huge payments for incompetent services. At first glance, this place looks like a real modern clinic, but in fact, it's just a place for retrieving money from you or from your insurance company. I've used their services twice. The first time, they wasted a couple months making me visit this place 3 times without providing any real help for my case. And they wanted to continue luring out the money for nothing, but by this time came the time for a public doctor's appointment. The second time I wanted to visit this place, they've forced money from me for the canceled appointment! Without even preventing me that I would have to pay even if won't come.
Just try to avoid this place. The Norwegian medical system is not great in general, but this place is a total disgrace to this country.

I met two specialists. Neither seemed serious about the job and acted more like comedians and prostitutes than medical experts.
Especially the lung-specialist was everything but up to the point. His report was a couple of lines with minimal information. I might have talked to the wall instead. It seemed like he was put there to make the time fly without providing any relevant input.
The nurses were friendly.
The machines put in place were not functioning.
The building is old and lacks appeal.
The fees are extremely high. I regret my visit and the money wasted.
The woman at the information desk in the heart and lung department was rude to everybody.

Kommer fram feil informasjon av sekretær. En kunde fikk beskjed fra sekretær som ikke er riktig. Vanlige
fastleger kan normalt sette kortison sprøyter for betennelser
i ledd og muskel.
Kunde rådet så til å ikke gi ut feilinformasjon.
Incorrect information appears
and missing information from the secretary. A customer received a message from the secretary that is not correct. Ordinary doctor can normally give cortisone injections for inflammation
in joint / muscle.
The customer then advised secretary to not to give out incorrect information Des informations incorrectes apparaissent
et les informations manquantes de la secrétaire. Un client a reçu un message de la secrétaire qui n'est pas correct. Un médecin ordinaire peut normalement administrer des injections de cortisone pour l'inflammation
dans les articulations/muscles.
Le client a alors conseillé au secrétaire de ne pas donner d'informations incorrectes

Be prepared to be treated like worthless person ! I called to inquire about express corona PCR test , unfortunately the woman who answered the phone was very unfriendly and clearly hostile, she hang up on me .
