Ethan is great!!

I have had to contact Wasatch Peaks several times the last couple of weeks. Each time Ethan has been very helpful and patient even with multiple calls in one day with endless questions. He has helped with transfers on an account, transfers to another member account, cancelling and ordering a new debit card and countless balance inquiries. THANK YOU ETHAN, Also thank you to Hannah helping me with this review.

Quick easy car loan/ great rate

I applied for a car loan with Wasatch Peaks and the process was very easy. Hannah was so personable and gave me clear instructions of what was needed. Hannah responded promptly each time I reached out to her. I was surprised how fast it took and I got a great rate that the other credit unions couldn't even get close to matching. I am very satisfied with the process and outcome!

Stood behind my minor son when fraud was committed on his account.

If you want a financial institution who will back you up when fraud is committed on your account, then this is the right place to be. Fraud of more than 200.00 was committed on my (minor) son's account. They said we had to file a police report, which we did and returned to them. The money was sent to two separate PayPal accounts. When we tried to deal with PayPal, PayPal said we had to deal with Wasatch Peaks. PayPal was absolutely no help and caused my wife to be quite stressed out. This financial institution got my son's money back in his account and reversed all of the fees caused as a result of the fraud. Thank you Wasatch Peaks!!!

We have had good problem solving

We have had excellent problem solving, when some problems have happen, but sometimes we have had a hard time getting some problems resolved resolved the first time.

I have never been more upset with this…

I have never been more upset with this credit union. my husband deposited his check and 420.00 cash. the teller called later and told him that she had deposited the wrong amount and put in our account $40.00 more dollars than she was suppose to. Looking at the account she did deposit 20.00 more. We told the bank that and they still took out $40.00. We counted the money in the safe before getting out the 420.00 and I know for a fact we gave her 420.00 cash. She did not even ask my husband how much cash he was depositing which is normal routine and any bank I have dealt with. At this point I am changing all my direct deposits to go to another bank and be done with wasatch peaks. Too bad you lost a customer that has been with you for years over $20.00 Margie Smith

Not even one star

Not even one star! It doesn't help to write to "support at wasatchpeaks....I have had this credit union for years now and I would switch in an instant of I weren't so lazy! These guys are horrific! I have called and written letters to managers and have never once had a response from anyone. There have been so many instances of ineptness, far too many to tell the whole story. Once, I informed them that I was going on vacation to Colorado, and since they had randomly just turned off my debit card before, I sent them a message to inform them of my travel plans. The Customer Service people will usually answer messages fairly quick (pre-covid, not so much now) and they didn't answer me, so I called and told them I would be out of town and to please NOT turn off my debit card because I purchase gas in Colorado. Fast forward to when we were checking into our hotel with my debit card. And it is declined. Over and over it is declined, and,mind you, it is after 5pm on a Friday. I was beyond mad. I called "customer service" and told them the problem and guess what she said? "Your card was flagged for fraud and turned off". Thank God I got to them in time because if I would have called any later, we would have been sleeping in our car the whole weekend. I complained to everyone at Wasatch Peaks about this AND MANY OTHER incidents, and not one person responded at all. No phone calls, no letters ,no emails. My advise is to stay far away.

Improve Customer Service

The customer service with some of the member services employees is horrible. Perhaps, some training on how to treat Wasatch Peaks members with respect might help. Lorna, Heidi & Andrea are very rude.

My dad needed a decent vehicle

My dad needed a decent vehicle, he asked my husband to help find him one. He lives down south, in order to do that he needed to come up here to us. We live in Clinton this is almost a 200 mile drive for him. He is older and not good with technology as most elderly people are. The auto dealership hooked us with Wasatch Peak Credit Union for financing. I made his payments always on time and paid over the amount due. His loan was paid off early! First of all they wanted him to pay interest on a loan that was paid off early! Second a year later he has NOT received the title for the vehicle! Blaming it on a mailing issue. He has a PO Box that has never changed. We have called several times. He has made special trips to try to resolve the matter. And still here we are. When he had me talk to the lady because he couldn't hear on the phone she was very rude! At this point I am not sure what to do now. We would just like the title for the vehicle that was paid for! Very disappointed with their service!
