I have sold a few pieces on watch collecting. It's really convenient and safe. I never once felt like i was in danger of being ripped off, even when selling hundreds of thousands worth of watches. It'... See more

Great set up smooth transaction very professional would definitely recommend
A straightforward way to realise fair market driven prices for pre-owned luxury watches. The managed service worked well - with professional photography and liaison with buyers direct to arrange collection from WC offices. Great support from Hugo @ WC. Thank-you
Very professional service, website easy to navigate and bid, My only personal annoyance is payment/delivery, their commission must be made immediately by credit card/debit card! however payment then must be paid in full direct to the seller! If the seller doesn't have any credit card/paymet facilities, Paypal etc...your stuck unless paying by bank transfer? also a pain personally for me was that you have to personally book the courier and separate courier insurance! then once done send them the courier labels so it can be collected by the courier the next day. I gave up trying in the end thus drove there! Great if you live in London however I was over 4 hours away! So think they really need to include shipping/insurance within the commission they charge or as an additional fee to have a complete end to end transaction and customer journey.
They are a very professional company so even with the above negatives I still feel its a 5* from me.
Great attentive service , Fleur has been an absolute pleasure to deal with !
Fleur Dubois handled the whole process professionally. The purchaser pays the costs so the price bid at auction is the money you receive as the seller. Great experience.
Oliver made the experience smooth from start to finish, fantastic service would definitely recommend and use again.
Great managed service from Natalie ensuring my delivery was despatched
the website was great , communication was good and delivery was made easy.
A very reliable, easy to use platform. I have now purchased 4 watches via the auctions, which have all gone well, without any hitches.
Alex from Watch Collecting. Com was brilliant. Professional, Knowledgeable, supportive and helpful.
We were kept up-to-date to all times. We really appreciated his help.
Highly recommended.
The service was very slick and professional. I missed the auction but was allowed to enquire as the reserve had not been met.
Alex dealt with everything and I picked the watch up from their HQ.
I would highly recommend watch collecting and now enjoy bidding on the various auctions.
It’s a watchaholic’s dream. Get onboard!
This is an excellent service and the quality of support ,in my case from Hugo, was first rate , showing a real commitment to achieving transactions in the interests of all parties going well beyond what might reasonably be expected of an online auction platform.
Typically more expensive than market after bidding end and additional buyer’s premium which they charge for so called service, which is very poor since they just provide email address of seller. No payment platform, no shipping service, all to be arranged between seller and buyer

Very easy service, professional and always on hand. Phone calls always returned if not answered immediately and questions always answered with satisfaction.
I wouldn't hesitate to use this company again. To note I received what my watch was worth and I was paid out in around 48 hours.
Watchcollecting were brilliant, and helped secure an excellent sale price for the two items I listed with them.
Special thanks to Fleur for making the process so easy, and thumbs up for the Managed Service - yes it costs a bit, but made my life much easier!
Excellent service Fleur was very professional and most importantly score sale
I would not hesitate to use Watch Collecting again
Excellent support from Alex @ WatchCollecting who was pretty much on the ball all the way through the three transactions. Decent results by and large although one watch was let down by a silly little bidder that won the auction and then couldn’t pay so they ruined the auction for the genuine bidders, myself and Alex at WatchCollecting……perhaps that bidder should stick to ebay. l think WatchCollecting should note their details and ban bidders like that completely for the future as they waste everyones time and money.
Alex stepped up though and got the watch sold, although sadly with a reduction against the next best underbidders original bid.
All three watches sold and would certainly sell on here again.
So well done Alex, couldn’t fault him…..
Very satisfied with my experience selling through Watch Collecting. Oliver Roberts did an excellent job guiding me through the process and helpfully stepped in when needed. Highly recommended!
Easy communication from my consigner, kept me updated with every step of the sale. Great services.
Have bought with w/c before - first experience was good, no issues
Looking at buying another via the “sourcing”. Told them looking for an unworn / barely worn watch. Was told they had one so I went to inspect with Hugo. Watch had clearly been worn about 15-20 times under close inspection. Multiple scratches and one proper chip. He agreed it was heavily worn.
Same watch then comes up for listing on the platform a day later, most photos with a plastic protector on and describing it as “worn three times and in perfect condition”. This was a complete lie. I asked the question to the seller as to how many times it had been worn as I had inspected it and it had multiple scratches on it. The question was posted and then rapidly removed by w/c in less than 24 hours. I mailed Hugo to ask why and have been blanked.
It’s a good platform but clearly the need to sell watches at any cost rather than describe them accurately is the overriding concern. This may be fine at the lower end of the market for for high value watches you are taking a huge risk buying with them.
Essentially you might get lucky with a watch or you might get a rogue seller. Watch collecting don’t describe accurately and clearly have no desire to when called out.
So a decent platform but basically you are rolling the dice on the condition - so it’s very much buyer beware. You need to inspect the watch in person or else risk buying a duffer with no recourse as it’s a private sale and the platform takes no liability
