Their future sucks and the instructions are hard to build, and the dowels are hard to remove and the wood is so fragile the slightest mess up may wreck the whole thing also the instructions don't give you clear bits or pieces for each item and back to the dowels those things are so fragile after the slightest bit of pressure they just break into and after they get stuck in wood might as well get a whole new piece since they are impossible to get out the wood. I hope wayfair makes easier instructions and makes it so the dowels aren't so fragile.

This was my first time ordering from Wayfair. The product was delivered on time. Not sure of the quality because never got to open the box. I paid to have the porch swing assembled and no one ever came. It was rescheduled 5 times due to no service pro available. Wayfair should not be offering a service that was not available. In the end I just asked them to come back and pick it up and a full refund and ordered from another company. I would not suggest ordering from Wayfair if you pay to have it assembled. My daughter lives in Arkansas and had the same issue with rescheduling but I didn’t think it would happen to me being in a different city.

I strongly urge anyone considering this bookshelf to stay far away. This product suffers from catastrophic design flaws and abysmal quality control, and Wayfair’s platform curation is equally to blame for allowing such a subpar item to be sold.
The Product Failures:
Pre-existing Damage: Midway through the assembly process, I noticed the first instance of damage. Willing to compromise, I assumed it was minor and pressed on.
Structural Collapse: The true disaster occurred once assembly was complete. The moment the bookshelf was stood upright, the entire base structurally failed and came completely off.
Design Defect: I spent 5 hours meticulously following the manual step-by-step. This was not user error; this is a fundamentally flawed design utilizing cheap, unstable materials that cannot support the product's own weight.
Wayfair’s Lack of Accountability:
Wayfair deserves zero stars for their product selection and customer resolution process. When a product fails this spectacularly, a customer should not be told to wait 2 to 3 business days just to receive a resolution plan.
I have already voiced my deep dissatisfaction to customer care. Wayfair is actively costing their customers time and money by hosting items of this low caliber. Save yourself the immense frustration and hours of wasted labor—do not buy this product, or anything structurally similar, under any circumstances.
The Return Nightmare & Snarky Support
Wayfair’s customer service and resolution process is a complete insult to the consumer. First, you're told you have to wait 2 to 3 business days just to get a resolution. When you finally get a hold of a "customer service" rep via text, they are incredibly snarky, argumentative, and more focused on "winning" the conversation than actually helping.
To top it all off, their brilliant solution for a return is to expect you to spend more hours disassembling a structurally collapsed pile of wood, packaging it back up, labeling it, and hauling it to a drop-off location.
I am out the cost of the item, out the assembly cost, and completely out of patience. Wayfair is actively costing their customers time and money by selling this absolute trash. Save your sanity, your money, and your time—stay far away from this product and anything that looks like it. They have officially lost a customer.

I ordered a 3 piece almyra sofa set the color is very pretty and the order came a month early.The couch and recliner seem to be nice so far only had a month. The love seat I’m not satisfied with it looks sideways at the both tops doesn’t seem very well constructed together ,needs better construction ,The love seat seems to not be level on both sides making the upper cushions to look uneven can probably fix but will have to buy adjustable legs and hopefully this will make it look level any suggestions. update Wayfair customer service was excellent kept in contact and addressed my problem and refunded money , Thank you customer service and wayfair for your fast service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I purchased a couch because it was cute and discounted to $200 but after the purchase was made, the regular $300 price returned. When the couch arrives, I realize it’s nothing more than a glorified Barbie couch bought to human size; it’s literally just cushions. No sturdy structure. I enjoy that it did not require major construction, but I wasn’t notified in any form of any information on the website that would tell me that this was literally just a bunch of cushions. It’s so weak that anyone of any weight sinks into this couch. The pillows never stay on they always slip off while you’re literally sitting. I asked for a refund or at least half back and they gave me this whole crap story about how they can only give me $78 back but the more I use this couch the moreeee I realize it was never worth 300, let alone maybe even 100. I’ve been contacting them nonstop asking for help and support because these pillows are already falling flat. & there’s a stain on the base I never made. So I’m being sold literally crap. there’s no way to keep the pillows voluminous either so I’m asking for support other than money back. I feel like a fool, I just paid a bunch of money for a couch that in turn I have to keep paying money for to keep decent. it’s really upsetting so I would just like a full refund but they are actively ignoring me.
Shame on all these companies selling crap products for so much money for people who aren’t even making that much money to begin with. It would probably easily give a celebrity something for free.
The couch is cute but not as practical as expected. I do not want a wododen frame or metal frame couch ever again because overtime these cheap sofas bend & break but SHIIIIT I DIDNT WANT A JELLO COUCH.

Ordered a GE water heater. Was told it was backorder but eventually it was delivered. The shipping box was rotted out at the bottom, mold over the packing material. Once opened, it was dented and had a mfg date of 2020! That is 6 years ago. Returned it and the replacement, while not as badly dented, was mfg'd in 2020.

Wayfair cancelled an order for an item supposedly for it being out of stock. The item showed in stock at the Wayfair website and it was confirmed by the customer service representative. Since Wayfair incorrectly cancelled the order, I request for the order to be re-processed. I was informed I could place a new order at a much higher price. Then they offer up to a 20% discount which comes up to a price higher than what I paid. I informed customer service of my intention to contact the Better Business Bureau because of questionable business practices to include bait and switch. I’m requesting at a minimum for the original price to be honored and a reasonable store credit for my inconveniences.
Total Price Paid $820.78 ($679.99 Sofa + 99.99 protection plan + taxes :$40.80)
New listing price for the Sofa: $1,315.58 ($1,059.99 Sofa + $191.99 protection plan + $63.60 taxes
Price with 20% offered: $1001.58 + TAXES
In addition: I paid for the Wayfair membership and they are charging me for $31.21 of rewards I earned when I purchased the item that was incorrectly canceled by them.

Very disappointing!! A longtime customer. I bought EIGHT outdoor lights which cost alot. The delivery was set up for Wednesday so I hired someone to install that evening. ONE box came. I called and was told the rest would arrive Thursday. I rescheduled the electrician. Nothing showed up, I waited all day, tracking showed arrival 5/28. When I called the person was SO RUDE she said" what is your problem?" they are coming today " I stated the date has now changed to 5/29 but she insisted. I asked for a manager, sorry, no manager. I called back and spoke to someone else and he stated a manager would send an email. NO EMAIL. My electrician is BOOKED so now I have so different lights in the front. VERY unhappy with Wayfair!! As I am writing this, they have now arrived!!! No installer today ****** I did get a response from WAYFAIR. NO comments on the staff I spoke with that was terribly rude. Just a " we are sorry" and a 10% coupon for my next order. Totally missed my point for writing this review. No Thank you, I won't be returning.

This is purely a complaint related to customer service. I ordered a tea kettle that came through a banner ad on the web turned out it wasn't the same product I was looking for even though I placed the order. So that was my fault. The email came that said check your order to make sure it's correct and then I did and realized it was wrong so I wanted to cancel it. That was a separation of less than 4 hours from the time of order to the attempt to cancel. The only option to cancel is modify the order which I attempted to do and it wouldn't let me do it because it would said it had been prepared for shipping. Now that's miraculous speed! Why would you ask us to check your order if it doesn't matter? If there's no way to change it? So then I contacted the customer support option which was open to 12:00 p.m. Eastern and the only option given was texting. That was the worst experience I've had in customer service by text in my life. By the time I asked the simple question can I cancel this order to the time I got the final answer was just under 2-hour period. This morning I received notification that the order had shipped and I could now cancel which I did unfortunately I got to pay $12.95 for return shipping which is a total scam. I will not do business with this company again unfortunately I had a great experience with them in the past I don't know what's changed. I would not recommend them again.

This is not the first time I'm having an issue with ordering from Wayfair. I was promised my order by a certain date and now I'm reading they don't know when it will be delivered. Once expecting an item, the item should be delivered on that date. I've tried reaching out and they give me the same response every time. That if I don't get my order within 5 days, please reach out. I don't understand what 5 more days will do. I would not recommend ordering anything through Wayfair. They just do not perform.

The 71" high china cabinet was assembled in five hours. This is junk. The "wood" is pressed paper with a cheap and peeling coating of another thin paper, the pieces, though easily assembled, looked like badly-stacked baby blocks, the doors, though adjusted as well as possible, leave a huge gap, paint from individual pieces are spotted and bubbled and do not match the peeling paper outer layer. And to return this piece of junk that took five hours to assemble, we're supposed to disassemble and box, label and drop off. I had a text session with a "customer service" rep who was snarky and had to "win." I am out the cost of the piece plus the assembly cost, but the company lost another customer

Be very careful when ordering online from Wayfair. We purchased lighting and never received it for our new build.
When I contacted Wayfair, they said that it was necessary to fill out a police report because fed ex claimed to have delivered it to us. There was no proof of delivery.
To ask an officer to spend valuable time completing paperwork for a missed delivery (under $200) seems excessive. However Wayfair insists before they will “go forth” whatever that means.
We’ve ordered thousands of dollars from Wayfair during our last build and are excellent customers. This is our first (and last) time however.

I placed an order on May 21 2026 and it was advertised fast free delivery by May 23 2026. As of today May 28 2026 it has not shipped. Their customer service (if you can call it that) reads from a script telling you that they understand your frustration thanking you for understanding, One says it opened a check in to it and I should hear something by June 1. A second one says the exact same thing and saying it is ready for pickup, but FedEx hasn't done so yet and I should hear something by June 1st. A third tells you again you should hear something by June 1, but I can offer you 10% off on a my next future order, Like I am going to trust them again? Then they just leave you hanging in their worthless chat without saying another word. They have no problem taking your money for a product and not shipping it, telling me thank you for being patient and understanding. Believe me, I not neither about this. Interstate fraud at it's finest!!!

If I could give negative stars, I would. The customer service was beyond frustrating — I was repeatedly given inaccurate updates, told issues had been resolved when they had not, and had to constantly follow up for answers. The process was slow, disorganized, and lacked accountability from start to finish. What made it even worse was that this all stemmed from receiving damaged goods, yet there was little urgency or ownership in making it right. I would not recommend this company based on my experience.

Never again. I have had a lot of issues with having items delivered from Wayfair, and I have always given them the benefit of the doubt, but this last order is the last one I’ll ever place. I ordered a couch that came in two packages, they sent me two different couch halves, which would be hilarious if they had actually been able to deliver it to my house, my place is new construction and they just put down a random address in the same state that my house is in, (possibly to get past address validation?). I had to have it redirected to a FedEx store, it took over a week to finally get it to a place I could pick it up from, and it’s this massive box that I had to strap to the roof of my car, then haul it up two flights of stairs before I realized it was the wrong item. When I contacted customer service, the person was only concerned with the return of the incorrect item they sent me, zero concern for delivering the actual item I ordered, and when I brought up the fact that they needed to verify that they could actually schedule a pick up from my address, the person got defensive and just ended the conversation. So I had to wait another 20 minutes to get back to a customer service person because their text system is preposterously inadequate for the size of company and number of customers they have, then the next agent has just left me hanging with no update on whether or not they can actually pick up the wrong item they sent me that they couldn’t even deliver to my house. They appear to be completely incapable of processing any information that isn’t on their script. So I’ve been sitting here dealing with this for over an hour with no resolution, no acknowledgement for the inconvenience their error has caused, and by refusing to send me the item I ordered unless I return the incorrect item they sent me that they cannot pick up from my house, they have essentially stolen $350 from me and left me with a massive box that I will need to pay out of my pocket to get removed from my property by the junk removal people.
I won’t be placing another order from a company that lacks the competence to fulfill their orders and doesn’t care about the inconvenience they cause.
Update: so after another agent just ended the conversation when I asked them to verify if they could schedule a pick up with FedEx from my new construction address, I finally checked and it turns out that the product I ordered was just out of stock, so I ordered a couch module from them and they didn’t have it, so instead of canceling the order they just sent me half of a completely different couch. So anyway I gave up and just asked if I could just arrange transportation to the a FedEx location and return the couch module for a refund, and they responded that they would “allow me” to keep the couch and give me $56, so I would have been out the money I paid and I would have been on the hook for the cost of junking it. I rejected their ridiculous offer, and had to wait another 30 minutes for the CS rep to come back with me saying they would give me a full refund and that he scheduled a pickup for June 1st. I doubt they will be able to pick it up, but it was 1:30am and I had been dealing with them for over six hours so I just gave up. Maybe they’ll pick it up on June 1, maybe they won’t. I didn’t read Wayfair’s response because life is too short, but this matter has ABSOLUTELY NOT been resolved, because they’re not going to refund me until they receive this giant box, and any resolution that happens, if it ever does, was literally the most complicated, frustrating, and frankly insane process, the CS people they have working for them are completely insane. Anyways, I can laugh about it now, but I’m actually still pretty angry about this whole situation.

Update 2: if you’re keeping score at home, it’s now two days past when they were supposed to pick up the box, I have been monitoring my camera all day for three days now and no FedEx trucks have come or gone. It’s almost as though since my address is new construction they can’t schedule pick ups from my place, but how could they have possibly known that??? I’m going to try to recontact Wayfair to see if I can just take it to a FedEx location myself and see if that works, otherwise I’m going to just junk it and take the loss, Wayfair doesn’t seem to care at all about customers they screw over so I’m not going to continue to play this game.

I ordered a bookcase from Wayfair with an estimated delivery date of mid June. I was notified that the delivery is going to be May 28th. If I would have known this I would have canceled the order even before it shipped. We are in the process of moving from one apartment to another and will not take possession of the new apartment until June 1st. The package will be refused. When I contacted Wayfair instead of trying to assist me they immediately stated that I would be responsible for the cost of the return. Did not try to assist me at all. Actually, pushed me off to the carrier which is FedEx and they would not help me either. Last order ever from this company.
