Should be called Notfair,USA Purchased two items wanted to return. Unopened boxes. Charging me 25 % of the cost of items for return shipping fees. On the phone for over 3 hrs, repeating myself over and over. Told me to wait 1-2 hrs for update on case. Waited 2 hrs. Came back with the same quote. I am a disabled senior citizen and shop only online. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced They aren't even Trying. Can't rate products because I didn't even open them. What is wrong with these greedy people. STAY AWAY.

I purchased an item and also purchased an Allstate protection plan. Unfortunately, I didn't like the item ending in 2203 and returned it to the store. That part of the refund was fine. However, the employee told me I'd get a refund from Allstate and when I didn't hear from them, I contacted Wayfair. Their policy said no refunds for insurance purchased. So I'm out $12 for a policy I can't use. I made another Wayfair purchase ending in 3820 before I knew this and cancelled it after chatting with customer service. I feel the policy regarding the insurance was deceptive, and they lost a customer over $12. Not a good business model for such a small cost on their part. Mine is the principle.

Products look completely different than the photos. I ordered a coffee table and it was supposed to be an ashy oak color based on photo. When I received it, it was more of a honey orange that did not match any of my other furniture. They do not accommodate customers for misrepresentation on their end, and require a hefty return fee. The desk I received was also off in color but I was able to make it work as I hadn't purchased other furniture for the office yet. I will not be purchasing from Wayfair anymore.

I purchased two different rugs from Wayfair several months ago. Both rugs came looking beautiful, but both rugs had separate issues that made them unusable before they were even 6 months old. After leaving my review about that experience here, Wayfair did contact me through this review site and refunded my money. I would be hesitant to purchase there again given the quality of two completely different items and brands, however, the fact that they made it right when there was a problem does say something. Their customer service is very good, Hopefully they vet products more carefully in the future to match that same quality.

They suck. They promised me a recliner was going to be delivered in three days on a Thursday. I told them it had to be because I would be in another state on Friday. Well it was not delivered on Thursday like they promised. I told them to cancel the order. Then the scumbags delivery the recliner to my front door 5 days after the delivery date. What a bunch of scumbags. They can screw off I won’t be buying from them anymore.

Sorry this is so long.
Purchased a firepit. Received ok, was waiting for the weekend for assembly the pit and 4 days after I received it on a monday they offered it for $40 less. Contacted them for an adjustment and customer service says they have a no adjustment policy.
If this is the case, then I will no longer have a policy to purchase wayfair merchandise.
I will be deleting your app. And I will tell everyone that mention they are going to make a wayfair purchase about my dis satisfaction.
How your corporate greed is more important than consumer satisfaction.
Perhaps if enough people voice there opinions then perhaps big companies like yours will change there policies to keep loyal customers rather than continue with there outdated policies. They offered a 10% on next purchase.
Hopefully the assembly of the firepit won't have as many problems as the blanket chest I purchased about 2 moths ago where first they had to send me a replacement panel because the original was damaged, and then different hardware because the hardware they shipped was not compatible with the chest assembly.

Absolutely horrible. 2 times in a row have they came to my house with multiple missing parts over a months time. Recent item was $1600 dollars, with it going on sale to $1200 on the time of the incident. Customer service was disrespectful, only accepting an $160 refund, with multiple reasons on why that was unacceptable. Ultimately, they took away the product the day of delivery, & refunded fully. Horrible experience.

I called to order a nightstand and 3 pairs of upholstered dining chairs. I asked that the shipping date be pushed forward to a week from the date of the order. I received notification the very next day that the items were shipping the next day. I called customer service 5 times and was hung up on. I tried talking to the chat, no help. I was told that since my items were already processed, I couldn't change the shipping date. I then saw that my address was incorrectly typed in by the agent I ordered from. Now, I come to find that my items are on their way to a different town. I am so disappointed in the customer service.

I ordered a set of 6 Soohow Dining Chairs. One chair came without the 2 factory pre-installed caps that go on top of the sides on the backs of the chairs. I tried repeatedly to report it on their “Report a problem” web page, with pictures of the problem (<1MB), but the “Continue” button on the bottom of the screen was grayed-out and could not be clicked. The AI assistant was no use! Could or would not simply give me a customer service email address! I ended up emailing the foreign manufacturer for help… not optimistic about receiving a reply. This was my first and only Wayfair order. I will never buy from them again.

I ordered this sofa from Wayfair on May 9th. and paid $1150 upfront. After waiting 3 weeks, they finally scheduled the delivery date. I had to take a day off work for the delivery, and since I am paid daily, that meant losing a day’s salary.
Then at 10 PM on the day before delivery day, Wayfair suddenly emailed me saying the delivery was rescheduled for one week later. I contacted customer service to ask why, and they told me it would arrive the following Monday. After receiving no confirmation email again, I called them back, and this time they said the sofa was damaged.
They gave me three unacceptable options:
1. Accept the damaged sofa and receive it earlier next week on a weekday, which would require me to take another unpaid day off work.
2. Wait another full month (end of Jun or July) for a replacement.
3. Cancel and get a refund.
I paid one month in advance, so being told to either cancel or wait another month makes no sense. And accepting a damaged product is completely unacceptable.
What frustrated me even more was that the customer service representatives were not polite and tried to blame the situation on the fact that the sofa was coming from the United States. That is not the customer’s problem. If Wayfair cannot deliver products to Canada properly, on time, and in brand-new condition, then they should not be selling them here.
This has been a very frustrating and expensive experience for me. I will never order from Wayfair again because of this poor customer service and lack of professionalism.

So far I have had a great experience with Wayfair, a Zillion Thing's Home. If there is a problem, they will make it right. The selection is great, the product's even better.
Just a note, to check for specification's, description, product details, and most importantly how heavy the item is, assembly, because FedEx will leave it outside your door, and you will have to bring it in yourself. They now have an option to both assemble, and deliver it anywhere in your home, at a cost.
You can become a Reward's member to get 5%off purchases, or not. You can download the App or just use the website. They now have an outlet store in Massachusetts as well.

Do not ever buy anything from Wayfair. Everything that they offer has some defect of some sort, which is why it's offered on their site to begin. Defects and returns are difficult to resolve because you have to go directly through the manufacturer. Wayfair does not have a direct dispute platform which is even more concerning; they pass it off to the manufacturer. Also, if you think you have all of the parts upon delivery, that is not enough; Save the packaging because oftentimes when you assemble the piece, there are serious mislignments or defects. You're better off paying a little extra to buy a piece directly from the manufacturer of choice. Wayfair is a complete joke. Never again for me!

This shady business does not deserve one star, but here there is no option of "minus 5 stars".
They lowered the price on the item I ordered practically as soon as I placed my order and refused to adjust the price, when I brought it to their attention. So, their "gotcha" practices just cost them a customer. I will never shop there again and will deter everyone I know from shopping there.

I wish I had continued my boycott of Wayfair and their terrible customer service, sub par items and awful delivery practices.I ordered an outdoor table and chairs early in May. Upon ordering the item, they were scheduled to deliver in mid May, plenty of time for Memorial Day. They took my payment and then two days later my chairs were on backorder. Who knows when they will be here? They first said delivery would be 5/115, then rescheduled it twice. I finally confirmed delivery by text for a 12 hour window 7AM-7PM on 5/21. I waited all day! No communication and no delivery. When I finally called CS at 6:45 PM. She apologized and said that the best they could do was get it on a truck and deliver it the 30 miles from warehouse where it sits six days from the OG date. Customer rep was a parrot just apologizing and very proud of herself that she could get it on a truck six days later. Last order ever from "Way bad Fair"

I had canceled an item, but it was delivered anyway. I spoke to three different customer service reps who could not come up with a viable solution. No full refund offered. I had to take the item to a Fed EX AND PAY SHIPPING to return in order to get a refund. AND ALL FOR A CANCELED ITEM WHICH WAS VERIFIED AS SUCH BY ONE OF THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS.

I spent 45 minutes online with customer service trying to return the wrong item they sent me and request a refund, only to be told at the end that “someone will get back to me in 24 hours.” Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. Customers should not have to waste nearly an hour just to fix a company’s mistake. Very disappointed with how this was handled.
On top of that, the quality of the products has really gone downhill. Things are not made like they used to be, and it’s getting harder to justify spending money when both the service and quality keep getting worse.
