I was really excited to see these new pads as they are flushable (I dislike having to use those pad bins in public toilets), bio-degradable and kind to the environment - a game changer! When I fir... See more

We're Fluus, the creators of the world's first fully flushable period pad. We're on a mission to stop harmful chemicals against our skin, microplastics in waterways and permanent waste caused by period products. As well as being fully flushable, Fluus is the first truly microplastic free period pad in the world (we know because we built the world's first microplastic free, high speed manufacturing line). As well as respecting our planet, this means that there's no sweaty plastic against your skin. Made from cellulose plant fibres, Fluus is hypoallergnic and has passed skin and vaginal sensitivity tests, making it perfect for even the most sensitive skin. To make Fluus both absorbent AND flushable, we created our patented technology called Flushtec®. It is a combination of materials and first-of-its-kind manufacturing process which makes Fluus pads naturally absorbent, but they only start breaking down once they're fully submerged in turbulent water. Want to know how it really works? The volume and hydraulic action of the flush tear the pad apart. It breaks down even further as it travels through the drainline. The disintegrated pad arrives at the water treatment centre, having broken down into cellulose plant fibres half the size of an eyelash. Here it can safely pass through the screens where it is treated and converted into biogas and fertiliser, creating a circular product lifecycle. Conventional pads contain 90% plastic and take over 500 years to degrade. We believe companies should take responsibility for the complete lifecycle of the products they create. Flush and forget.

Good to the Planet 💚♻️ and for me
I started to use Fluus a couple of months ago and I must say I love these pads! My skin is very sensitive and Fluus pads are not irritating that delicate area. I feel dry and clean 🫧 I strongly recommend them.

I absolutely LOVE this product
I absolutely LOVE this product. It works great and finally gives me a plastic free option. I’ve never fancied the idea of those moon cup things. It gets posted through my door so super easy.

Not ideal for loose fit trousers
I love the flushable product of course! But when I was out walking the wings weren't sticky enough and were scratching my leg. It felt super sore to walk and I was out for ages 😫 The product is OK with tight fit trousers only I have found.

Good product
I've been using these pads for the past three to four months, and while they're not flawless, I've grown quite fond of them. I've noticed an improvement in the adhesive quality. Some glue residues still transfer to the fabric; for this reason, I exclusively reserve specific pairs for use with these pads.
I do wish they were a tad more absorbent. To prevent any potential leaks, I've maintained the habit of wearing period pants over them, just as I did with regular pads.

Kind to bodies and environment
Absolutely in love with the product! Lives up to what it says - safe period, natural compostable ingredients, flushable! I hope this will become available to purchase in shops and will become a leading brand! Great work on getting this to the market! Hoping to see different products in the future emerging too! :)

I really love these pads.
I really love these pads.. even the wrapping is flushable - packaging all recyclable (cardboard) .. I'd happily continue to use them instead of the plastic ones feeling good that I am not harming the environment

They need to be longer
They need to be longer, more absorbent, bigger wings and to stick properly. These are much more suited to panty liners or dailies

The new fluus is good,
The new fluus is good,
Its sticky is better, the material feels same/prob similar to the original one. Happy with the improvements to this one
I'm just not sure If I use 12 in one cycle my periods are very short, so I was hoping I could store them for longer than 3 months otherwise I will sometimes have to suspend my membership temporarily

I absolutely love this product
I absolutely love this product. When I’m out and about it’s so convenient to be able to flush them and the packaging. Not all public toilets have disposal bins so it’s nice to worry about that. Also they are super comfortable to wear. I find regular pads irritating even the sensitive brands and these have been so comfortable with no irritation at all 🙏🏻. I’m so happy I switched to Fluus
