It’s been a month since I made my order. It never arrived. Contacted PlantMade and got not response. So I guess I’m £140 down?
Customer service is a F#*#ing joke
I love the product but customer service is horrible. It took 3 weeks to recieve half of my order but I am still missing the rest. The website days everything has been delivered but it has not. I've called and got voicemail I have emailed several times with no response. It has now been 5 weeks since I ordered and I am still missing items with no response from customer service. I do not recommend this company to anyone. I would give negative stars if I could. Customer service if you are reading this please respond to my f##**ng emails and let me know what the f*#k is going on.

I love your products and it has grown my hair well. My only complaint is that ordering from the US the delivery takes too long.

Abysmal Customer Service
I never bother with bad reviews but I am so frustrated with Plantmade and do not want others to experience the abysmal customer service that I have. After placing an order last year, I was appalled to find that they charged my credit card a year later for another payment without my authorisation. I did not place another order.
Despite contacting them multiple times, I received an email back more than a week later with no apology for the unauthorised charge or the delay. I was told by Ama the Founder that the only way to receive a refund was to return the order—an order I never requested or authorised. I refused the delivery, and despite following up more than 10 times since, I have received no further communication and am still waiting for my refund.
This experience has revealed significant issues with Plantmade’s business practices, including unauthorised transactions, lack of accountability, and terrible customer service. Even if the products were of high quality, I would avoid this company at all costs and strongly advise others to do the same. No business should operate in such an unprofessional manner.
Great products that actually work.
Delivery did take longer than I expected but as always the products are A1. It’s helped my baby’s hair grow so much! And I have locs now and it has really supported the growth of my locs and now they are really flourishing. Plant made make great products that actually work.

Your products are phenomenal! Your delivery of them is heartbreaking. I first had to wait 6 months to receive my order. After multiple unanswered emails & voicemails, I thought I had lost my money. Until one day you all did a Live on IG and my order was processed and delivered…but it was incomplete. 6 months late and incomplete was truly heartbreaking and it made me think about why would I re-order…the way my hair feels after using your products makes me feel confident and happy with my hair, but the wait for them made my hair fall out from lack of using Plantmade. I witnessed how hard you’re working to solve this shipping problem, so I know you’re doing your best. I wish you continued success and improvement in your business.

I’ve put through a return over two weeks ago I have not been contacted to say they have received my return etc. I’ve contacted them few times since via email and have got a response. All I want is for the return to processed and no one is even answering the phone. Their customer service is terrible and I will NOTTTT be purchasing from them again. Loved the plantmade brand and company / founder story etc however after placing my order I had to wait around 25 days before I received it, all the while trying to chase to get updates and confirmations.
Wasn’t the best experience but hopefully the company can refine the customer experience to align with the goodwill invested in them from customers buying their products.

Go to products for wash day
I love using the shampoo bar and conditioner bar on my 4c Afro hair. This shampoo cleanses without stripping the hair and the conditioner softens the hair without having to stay on for long. I love the herby smell of the products. These are now my go to products for wash day.
Missing item upon delivery
The order arrived with a missing item. I’ve sent multiple emails and DM’s via instagram with no response. Just very disappointed overall as this wasn’t even for me got it for a friends birthday. Ordered 7 products so I guess I should be thankful that I got the 6.

I placed an order of over $100 at the beginning of July. My order was cancelled by the company, however they didn't said me any notification about it. I never got an email and I did not receive a refund. I don't even know when they canceled it, but it was after I got my confirmation email. Since it always takes 4-6 weeks for orders to be processed, shipped, and delivered I waited almost a month before checking on my order. I only noticed that it was cancelled because when I followed the "check order status" link in the confirmation email it said the order had been cancelled and if there was a mistake to contact the company. Customer service was non-existent. The company didn't respond to email or phone calls. I was given zero explanation why they cancelled my order or why they didn't contact me. I had no idea if I was going to be refunded or not, so after almost a month after I placed the order I had to ask my credit card company to do a charge back. I love the product, but I don't know if I'll be shopping with them again because customer service is non-existent. $100 is a lot of money. You'd think they'd email their customers if there were issues and they had to cancel an order. I know refunds can take weeks, but they didn't contact me telling me I would be refunded. They didn't communicate with me at all, and this isn't the first time they ignored my emails about my order. In the past it's taken them as many as 4 weeks to ship my order, and I would just ask for a status update because 4 weeks is a long time for processing. They ignored my emails then so I don't know why expected it to be different now. Order at your own risk I guess, if you have any issue with your order you're SoL.
Also side note, they have their system programmed to automatically send out these survey emails, which was sent to me with the expectation I was receiving an order. Why can't they program their system to send out an email that notifies people when their order is cancelled at the whim of the company?
