UPDATE: I have now received a refund. Worth replying to the customer services email and pursuing it. I threatened chargeback from the bank and reporting them to Trading Standards.

Total scam. Saw their advertising on Instagram. Website looked legit, as did the many many reviews there, and product looked great on all the girls demonstrating the silk bonnet via video. Then the bonnet arrived, some time later (it said from the US) in a cheap plastic bag, not a presentation box like on the website, and it's made from nasty cheap satin, not silk, with shoddy stitching. I'm not normally one to fall for stuff like this, but will never now buy anything from Instagram again without checking here! Have emailed Wear Silky to complain and ask for a refund but fully expecting to have to go via my bank for chargeback.

Not silk at all. It’s cheap china product. Fake publicity.

When delivery rang my doorbell they literally said: Package from Temu

Avoid. Total scammers. Parcel never arrived, they blamed Yodel, Yodel blamed them & around we go. No refund and silent on emails. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY.

Dropshipping from China. Stay away.

Fraudulent company. Received the bonnets, they weren't as described. On the website it says they are silk but they're not they are cheap polyester. Tried to initiate a return and the response basically told me I was wrong and that they are silk, you can feel how cheap they are. Kept on at them for a return didn't receive any response after that. They make you jump through hoops for a return which you will never get. Thank god for PayPal as I was able to get a return through them. I have a suspicion that they resell these bonnets as there was a sticker on the bag similar to when you order from AliExpress.
Avoid this company they take your money and go against your rights as a consumer.

Received the bonnet today. It is not silk, not even close. 2 layers of polyester satin!
It did arrive within 2 weeks
Tracking in the item was clear
And it’s sewn together well
BUT the material is not as described so if you are looking for a real silk bonnet DO NOT BUY!
The website advertises quality silk and 30 day money back guarantee. I think the guarantee is as real as the silk! I have messaged them requesting a refund but base on the other reviews I doubt I will hear back… or see my money again!

I received an email reply - it did not address any of my concerns. Or acknowledge my request for a refund as per the money back guarantee. (See below)
I have replied stating my concerns about the product being mis-sold as silk and again requesting a refund… no reply

Never arrived, contacted the place multiple times, they cannot provide a proof of delivery apart from tracking from their website and stop replying when I say it never arrived. Lost money.

Never received my order .ordered on 3/12/24. They sent a couple of emails appologising, blamed the courier and said I have to get in touch with them. The courier company said undelivered items would be returned to sender. Wear silky have been silent since.

As one person said i am extremely annoyed that i havent read these reviews before purchasing. The bonnet never arrived. They gave my local shipping company the wrong phone number and the parcel cant get delievered. Ive sent them various emails but they are not responding on purpose and do not want to give me a refund.

I am annoyed at myself for not checking these reviews before purchasing, as I can see that overall this company does NOT have a good reputation. I ordered a bonnet and it arrived quite quickly, however it is completely the wrong colour. I have emailed twice and used their contact form on the website twice, and have not had any response at all. They claim they will get back to customers within 48 hours, but this is clearly untrue. Very displeased with this service.

I bought the deal with 3 of these to arrive before Christmas. I thought I’d try one and give the others as gifts.
They arrived too late for Christmas so two are still in their sealed packets, but I didn’t care as long as they were good.
I could not get on with the one I tried. It was either very uncomfortable due to having to tie it so tightly or it fell off.
On 4 Jan I emailed customer service, they promptly replied telling me to tie it a different way, I have since sent 3/4 emails asking for a refund. I received one reply from a bot asking what was wrong - it was clearly in the email chain below - now they are ignoring me. I asked for a refund as they state ‘30 days with no questions asked. I’ve wasted money and now I am being ignored. Rip off merchants and scam artists. I’m going via my PayPal now as I’ve asked nicely and am being taken for a fool. Steer well clear

As other have said, ordered early Dec. And still nothing as of 23 Jan. they did reply late Dec and said that I could return them however they couldn’t cancel the order as it was “already processing”. Last update was 09 Jan saying it was either my local carrier but this is clearly a scam now.

If I could give zero stars I would.

Similar to all the other reviews posted on this page, I have yet to receive my bonnet after ordering over 1 month ago. I have emailed and been assured that my item will be delivered soon but given no exact date.

Similar to others, yesterday I received an email to notify that my item will be soon shipped, and provided with a tracking number from a Chinese company. Upon reviewing their website, I can see the item was being processed back in December but there’s been no updates since.

I have requested for my money to be returned as their shipping policy clearly states estimated delivery is between 7-10 working days. This is misinformation and for me, that length of time has been and long gone.

I would highly recommend for anyone to stay well clear of this company.

Scam! The bonnets are definitely not made of silk, I reached out because of this issue and asking how I return or the get a refund since the product is not what it is described at all, and at the first email I got an answer which wasn't helpful at all... and haven't heard back in 9 days although I tried a couple of times...

Not silk, not double lined, took a month to get here. No way of getting a refund , £35 lost . Awful knock off bonnets probably cost a couple of quid to make

I LOVE these bonnets !! Ask my husband - he keeps calling me a bonnet evangelist lol… but truly these bonnets are comfortable, beautiful colors and I love how it ties up. Not to mention these things work like crazy - no frizz, comfortable, makes your hair look amazing after taking it out (and it keeps it off your neck and face). I’m bought my best friend 3 of them !

Took over a month to arrive, and when they did the colours are wrong and they’re really poor quality. They haven’t replied to my refund request either.

Ordered on 3/12/24, still not arrived 18/01/25. Contacted them for tracking info on 3/01/25 as nothing was updated. They finally updated something the day after I contacted them. Gave incorrect royal mail tracking number and told me to take it up with them. Claimed refund through my bank.
