Remember to read Terms

March 2024 I signed up to this platform using a referral link. The promotion said that I would receive a free stock. After creating my account I could not find the free stock. I contacted support and was told the promotion was region locked to the US.
During the signup process, where I specify my country and address, why am I not warned that I'm not eligible for the promotion that I'm using to sign up?
I only partially read the Terms and conditions to see if the free stock was worth the time to sign up with KYC and all. So note to self: Read the Terms.

Recently Webull started sending me promotional material to my email. I probably gave them permission during the signup process, but whatever. I opened a couple of the emails and saw that they're currently running a Switch & Earn promotion, where you can move your assets to Webull and then you will be rewarded 2% of the amount moved.
So I could move assets for say 10.000$ and get 200$ for free?
Short answer is yes. But after learning my lesson I opened the Terms
1. Assets must be moved from an eligible broker using Webull's transfer tool.
2. I must maintain a Net Qualifying Transfer Amount equal to or greater than $0.01 during the reward period to receive the reward.
3. The reward will be paid in 2 installments. One in August 2025 and one in August 2026.
Do I need to explain why this is not pretty? An unsuspecting user could easily miss these terms blinded by the promise of easy free money in Webull's marketing. And when the user needs money for a vacation next summer, they will get nothing of the reward from the promotion.
Oh and remember to read the price list. They take a 75$ fee per stock, you want to move away from their platform.

All in all, I don't like their unclear way of marketing and that's why they get 3 stars.

They advertise commission-free trades

They advertise commission-free trades, but hidden fees and slow executions makes it a rip-off. Promises of no charges for short selling? Just another empty pitch. Not worth the hassle. I join wining team,𝘦ch𝘦Ion!s 𝘦Iıtus, pays quick and the returns are great. No doubt about it.

This brokerage is a total scam company! Stay away.
I mean the stock market in general is a scam. It’s not designed to make you money it’s designed by elites to give us regulars the impression that we can get ahead but it’s all bs. You will not make money or get ahead in the stock market, it’s a total scam, I’ve had multiple ppl use Webull and they all just loose money.
Webull is terrible. 0/5

Webull is a terrible trading platform

Webull is a terrible trading platform. It does not offer free real-time quotes (you have to pay extra), it does not allow free advanced trading (you have to pay extra), it assigns stocks early and frequently before the option trade expiration date, and the help and question support ability is extremely slow.

I'm trying to make a 10k USD deposit…

I'm trying to make a 10k USD deposit but my computer says that my phone number is not correct, after trying to reset my password the Webull app keeps saying that I have the wrong information while at the same time, I'm able to login using my cell phone, my cell phone and Webull account works just fine but now I do not feel safe to transfer any money because I do not know if I'm doing this the right way.
I did call the customer service number and I managed to talk to a guy but after a few words, our conversation went silent 🤔
Am I missing something here?

Webull sucks

Webull sucks. Blocks with ad just before market open. No ability to close
. After staying on customer service over phone, pnly suggestion is to uninstall. Not even a sorry for inconvenience. What a great way to force users to refer someone. FUCJ U Webull.

There is no way yo transfer funds to their futures account. If u move funds to cash account it's locked for 7 days after taking 4 days to realize the transfer.

No straight forward way to even transfer between your webull account.

May instruments are not available.

All they want is to make u get margin and pay them.

Webull sucks!

Can not withdraw my funds

I have been trying to remove my money from Webull for over 3 months. I have been told the money will be "in your bank account in two days" over a dozen times. I hove spoken with numerous employees who have gone as far as admitting it was complete neglegence on their part. Still no money! I am reporting Webull to government agencies, BBB, and starting a website devoted to their dishonesty...webullshit.com.

Stock market Gamification 101

Cons;
* Stop losses: there is no direct/ simple path to set up stop losses and it will cost you time to navigate to and set up. In day trading/ scalping, seconds matter and by time your stop loss is set up, you've probably already gone passed your target sell and then stop loss. To counter this hindrance, many skip the stop limit as they feel it is more efficient to set up a limit sell to click and drag to where you want to get out.
* Charts are laggy, glitches and freezes for minutes at a time, when unfreezes, there will be a series of red candles, regardless of which subscription
* Only limit buy / sell orders appear to work, everything else appears to not get executed.
* In my opinion, the whole thing is set up so you loose money, which will then trigger anxiety fuelled gambling and impulsive / reckless behaviour costing you more money in your attempt to recover your growing volume of lost funds
* Customer service will tell you it is not their problem in a prompt, indirect but friendly manner

Pros;
Has all the things you want, but everything you need, well, it doesn't work, don't get suckered into this

Do not use this cheap broker

Do not use this cheap broker, they are negligent and break the Law and FINRA Rules daily, documented more than 40 times when they in writing acknowledged their errors. Whenever you want to transfer their negligent fraudulent agents retain your positions illegally with excuses that are false and lack of legal support. Never use this broker use a big one.
