Hello

Hello, everyone

I’m facing a frustrating situation with Webull Canada, and I’m hoping someone here can offer advice or share their experience.

I made an e-transfer of *5000* to my Webull account from my BMO account on *January 13, 2025*. The transfer was completed on my end without any issues, but the funds have *not yet appeared in my Webull account*, and they have *not been returned* to my BMO account either.

Here’s where things get more concerning:

- I initially requested the transfer on *December 27, 2024*, but could not complete it because I had hit my monthly withdrawal limit with BMO.
- I made the same request again on *January 13, 2025*, and transferred the money successfully from BMO to Webull.
- It’s now been *over 5 days* without any update, and I’m struggling to understand why this is taking so long.
Every time I contact customer support, they just say my case has been "escalated" and that I’ll be notified when there’s an update. But nothing happens.

I’m starting to worry that my money is being *held or misused*, and I’m unsure if I’m just getting the runaround or if there’s something more serious going on.

Has anyone here experienced a similar issue with Webull or any other financial platform? What steps can I take to *escalate this further* and get my funds back or deposited? I’m considering filing a formal complaint or even seeking legal advice, but I’d love to hear what others think.

Thanks for any guidance or advice you can offer—I really appreciate it!

Webull has been the worst platform I’ve…

Webull has been the worst platform I’ve ever used, both for opening an account and trying to get in touch with customer service. Their support is only available Monday through Friday, but even during their limited hours (I believe 8 or 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.), the wait times are unacceptable.

Each time I call, I’m on hold for well over an hour. Yesterday, I called and waited for an hour before finally speaking to a representative. When I explained that the information he provided didn’t match what I saw on the app, he told me to hold on and placed me back in the queue. I then waited another 45 minutes without anyone picking up. In total, I was on hold for about an hour and 40 minutes with no resolution to my issue.

The customer service wait time is atrocious, and I cannot recommend this platform to anyone. I will be closing my account and advise others to avoid Webull all together.

They will not let me withdraw my money…

They will not let me withdraw my money back to the same bank account from which it came without an uploaded picture of my bank statement with my full account #. Banks are not allowed to send statements out with full account numbers due to the risk of getting lost in the mail. Webull has to know this. My online banking does not list the full account numbers either. So I had to drive 50 miles to my bank and they made a customized letter to meet all of their requirements. There is no logical or security reason to supply this information simply to have the money returned to the same account from which it came. This is designed to make it difficult to get your money. I just uploaded the letter today. I will write another review if If they play more games.

It's not transparent how to get refund

It's not transparent how to get refund. I emailed them and they responded I filed twice so they're removing one of the requests. Sooooo, if u saw the question and took the time to address how many requests I made, then why didn't you answer the question? Then, I discovered there is a 75.00 fee to close a per stock option ? How GREEDY! Good thingi only had 640 Invest(for trial). These are penny stocks and by the time they deduct fees I have nothing! So go ahead steal my money bc this will be the last time you'll ever see me again!

Lack of transparency which is a principal for any successful business

I submitted a request to transfer my portfolio from Trading212 to my WeBull account. Regrettably, they denied my request for unfounded reasons. They stated that they only accept stock transfers with a minimum price of $5 and a market capacity exceeding 300 million (this crucial information was not mentioned or highlighted during the transfer request). Furthermore, all my stocks I wanted to transfer into my Webull are currently traded on Webull platform, but they are very elective . This lack of transparency is deeply disappointing.

LOCKED FUNDS....NO SUPPORT....NO RESPONSE

So, after placing funds within my account, Webull locked the account after some trades. The issue is that they won't unlock the account, and they will not answer the phone, and they will not respond to emails. If you're thinking about joining WEBULL, DO NOT! I only put a small amount in to "try them out." SO GLAD I did not put a meaningful amount into this account. When I can, if they let me, ill be closing this account ASAP!

Dealing with Blanch was enough to close…

Dealing with Blanch was enough to close my account, very unfriendly, very officious and in general seemed like an unpleasant person to deal with.
She has zero diplomacy skills and if she is representaive of dealing with Webull then run away as fast as you can.

Glitchy Desktop, Long Waits, and Unreliable Support

I've been using Webull for a few months, and honestly, the user experience feels like two different apps went to war—desktop vs. mobile. I’d only recommend the Webull mobile app if you’re someone who prefers trading on your phone—it’s the better half of the duo. The desktop app? Total joke. It’s glitchy, confusing, and frustrating, especially for day traders trying to trade with efficiency and accuracy. For example, the reverse function in Turbo Trader works only half the time, and the error messages are misleading and unhelpful, it might as well say, 'Good luck figuring this out!' Plus, trying to cancel working or pending orders during pre-market or post-market hours? Forget about it. It's difficult to quickly find and understand the information you care about in the account summary. The list of issues goes on.
Need to call their trading team? Pack a snack and prepare for a long wait—30 minutes to an hour is the norm. And when you finally get through, don’t expect consistent or reliable answers. The reps often lack basic knowledge about things like different order types or trading hours, making it hard to trust their answers. It’s hit-or-miss, and unfortunately, more miss than hit.

Wouldn't trust them further than I…

Wouldn't trust them further than I could throw them. I've rec'd about 10 emails in the last 2 weeks about why they can't currently host my account, but will not bother to give me any answer. Tell me to reapply.. then the next one, sorry we can't help. If you can't bother to respond like grown-ups, why would I ever trust you all with my money?

Unfortunately popular charting site…

Unfortunately popular charting site trading view - this site or app or broker comes on top but this is a china based scam business. If you read any promotion or recommendation for webull, first read reviews. They are a big scam. Majority of customers are very small inexperienced people and they get into their scam just like many only based in marginal areas of EU that are prohibited to market in the US. Dont fall in trap of Webull they will never return your funds.

We need help!!! Frightening experience.

We need help. They have our money and will not release it. They keep saying deposit more and your funds will be released. They have given us dates and timelines, which we followed. And then they say oh markets changed we need more money to be able to release your funds. We have contacted lawyers but thus takes time. Can anyone offer any direction or help? Thank you so much in advance and my heart goes out to any others being taken advantage of. All the best.
