A few months back I was contacted by Bell Canada for small businesses about a company they were partnering with called Webware.io for website design.

I have to admit that I wasn’t sure but my old website was not getting me any business. I took a leap of faith and decided to invest in a newly designed website with SEO capabilities and ongoing marketing abilities.

I loved the website they designed for me and the attention to details. It looks beautiful. heartandsoul-tantra.com I have weekly meetings with my account manager Vinyak Chavan to help me navigate the marketing and website. He is very proficient at his job, kind and patient with my lack of technical knowledge. He teaches me and is always there to help. They even have tutoring classes to help with learning how to navigate their website when we need help.

I have to say that I am very happy with Webware.io for small business website design needs and I highly recommend them.

They have had my account since February, they have NO problem taking the $499.00 every month but have not followed through on ANYTHING that the contract says they would do!! They have had access to ALL my social media since March and they have done NOTHING!!! My client portal does not work, I have called a reported that OVER AND OVER AND STILL CAN'T GET IN!!! I HAVE BEEN TELLING THEM SINCE May I no longer authorize them to take money from my account and they keep saying they have stopped the debits, but guess what....THEY STILL ARE TAKING MONEY EVERY MONTH AND NO SERVICE HAD BEEN PROVIDED!!!! THEY HAVE CAUSED HARM TO MY COMPANY BY STILL not having my website up and running especially since it has been almost a YEAR since we signed up with them!!! This company does not even deserve 1 star!! Filed a report with the Better Business Bureau about this company!! MY ADVICE IS STAY AWAY, FAR AWAY FROM WEBWARE AI!!!! When I first signed up with Webware, it appeared to be a cost-effective solution for building and managing my website and digital marketing. I paid approximately $1,400 upfront for the website and agreed to ongoing monthly fees for support and content updates. However, over time, I was spending over $500 per month for very minimal service — a blog post once a month, a newsletter every other month, and weekly social media posts, all designed to drive organic traffic.

Despite the investment, the website they delivered was underwhelming — slow to load, poorly optimized, and riddled with bugs. High-resolution images were not compressed, and the overall performance was disappointing. Upon reviewing other providers, I realized the website quality was well below industry standards.

In total, I spent over $8,000 with Webware and, unfortunately, did not receive a single lead during my time with them. I often found myself correcting grammar in their blog content and even had to handle many tasks on my own that I had assumed were part of their service.

As soon as I began voicing concerns about results and ROI, communication became increasingly difficult. At the end of my contract, I was given my website files, but they were configured in a way that made it nearly impossible to migrate or rebuild with another provider — effectively locking me into their ecosystem.

You live and learn. My advice to others is to do thorough research, read independent reviews, and check a company’s Trustpilot rating before signing any long-term contract. This experience was costly and disappointing.

Harsh has been incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Steps are clearly articulated so that my own knowledge is heightened. I believe that the support from all the team at Webware has really stepped up as communication is exceptional.

I would give them zero. They scammed us. Read the contract. I did and got things in writing- still they refused to give me the assets (my website) and graphics etc. did zero market research. And had the nerve to claim they spent over $500 in advertising when according to FB it was $93. They claim they paid it but cannot provide and evidence. Don’t put your business reputation in their hands. They will destroy it. They are 100% bait & switch. They promise you all this research yet do none of it. They are hoping you don’t ask questions. I was reasonable- keep $100 and refund the balance. Instead they are claiming they continued to pay for ads after we fired them and disconnected them from our accounts. I have asked simply for proof. They should have a bill? Nope. They won’t even honour what they put in writing. We are now having to spend thousands and get a lawyer involved to get our funds back. Why would you spend more than a budget after you are fired.

Reply- They are liars on top of bad service. I was give a 90 day refund guarantee. They kept over $500 and stole all my assets. i will be having my lawyer send them a letter. Terrible and then to lie about it is worse.
