Unhelpful, unwilling to advise past reading the policy to you...
I called to ask for clarification on what evidence would have to be provided in the hypothetical case of a UK armed forces member being deployed within the first 16 weeks of the policy (referring to Part 1 of their policy), because of unforeseen circumstances. Then if that deployment were to be unexpectedly extended and the leave period for the wedding subsequently cancelled. The person on the phone, who was initially very polite, could not help me and just read to me word for word the policy (of which I could read myself), insisting they could only tell me what the policy says. Very unhelpful, and this was without a possible claim too, just asking for advice. Avoid, I can't imagine having to deal with a proper claim. Avoid, especially if you're military.
