Weight Watcher website is very misleading.

Weight Watcher website is very misleading They lock you into long term with false and misleading information. If you are over 65 do not sign up for their Med+ program. The charge is just for the membership and you have to pay extra for the medication whitch they do not tell you up front. The price of the medication is high enough without the high price of the membership once you are locked into it and you cannot afford the price they charge for meds. you are out of luck. You will be paying 3 times or more for the same thing others get on the regular plan. With the price of the membership and what they charge for meds you would be better off going anywhere else for they medication. They do not tell you until you are a member that you can't get medication through insurance if you have an advantage plan or medicare so do not sign up if you on these coverage. If you find you cannot afford it they just say too bad you signed up for it, they do not care about the person just the money like all other big corporations in this country. Word to the wise if you are retired do not sign up for Weight Watchers.

Response time needs improvement, please

There is a delay in response that is a bit frustrating. Two days is a long time to wait. Our journey with WW continues through the weekend as well. If I submit a question on Friday I won’t get an answer until Tuesday. Please help me make that make sense. Either way, waiting 2 days is not acceptable. Explanations can be clearer and more detailed especially for people new to GLP1s. Thank you in advance for helping to correct this issue.

I have been a weight watcher since…1996

I have been a weight watcher since 1996. I reached my goal back in 99 and then proceeded to gain a lot back since then I recently re-entered weight watchers in 2024 and reached my new goal in 2025. I am now on maintenance while a lot has changed it’s basically the same. I no longer go to the meetings, but I do login when I am on schedule. I am doing well.

I’m not getting full use of the plan…

I’m not getting full use of the plan and would prefer to be in the basic plan without the Metformin. It’s sad that I can’t switch back and being charged $74 a month and not being able to get the GLP or Nutritionist, I was counting on that. So in reality I’m paying so much more for a plan I can’t get full use of. When I sign up nothing is known as to what I can get and now I’m locked in on a plan that I don’t use to its fullest. Plus I’m on a fixed income now and I see no real benefit w/o the GLP-1 for me. I hope you reconsider.

The new app is not good

The new app is not good. Everything is hidden not easy to find. I also don't like how the points are so high on everything. All you can eat is zero point food. That's not always easy and it gets very boring. Old weight watchers was better when it was no food off limits

I dislike ALL of the GLP1 topics and workshops! Why do you need so many? Even some of the other than Weeklies get addressing them. Let's talk more about healthy foods and habits. Bring in some lifetime/maintenance with leaders that practice what they preach! Too many coaches are way over goal. Not setting a good example of health and wellness.

WWCamp 1974

I first encountered WW as an adolescent attending WW camp. I loved it. I needed that during that part of my life. I learned about eating healthy and lost weight for the first time. I used food as a self medicating behavior.
The founder of WW came on our last day.
Fast forward to 2026 .... the WW app is a wonderful tool. I love the workshops the best. I've always come back when I need to get myself on track again.
