Do not trust this company

I called this company to ask a few questions in respect to a projector repair. The chap that spoke to me was so rude that I instantly made my mind up that this is not a company to trust. I am shocked that Sony have authorised this company to do their repairs.

Poor communication and service

After contacting this company about an overheating issue with my projector they diagnosed it as a likely motherboard fault.

I sent my projector to them and received no further communication until I got an invoice for 'mainboard' issue.

After finally getting my projector back the overheating issue has not been fixed. It appears that a different fan is now the issue.

They are claiming that I have caused this damage by unplugging a fan myself!?

They charged me for a replacement motherboard but have apparently replaced one fan and called it a day. Not a reputable company!

Projector repair

Initial consultation for my companies damaged projector was good, reasonable quote, it got collected the day after. After a week or two this was completed and the invoice was paid. The item was subsequently sent back to me but after three days it wasn’t there. I’ve called the company and he was looking into it. After ~10 minutes he called back and said it was accidentally sent to the wrong company. He apologised and said it would be collected from the other company the day after and it would be with me ASAP. Indeed so it was, as it arrived two days later. The projector now works great again as well.

4 stars because the project being delivered initially to the wrong address. I would use again, though.

rusted them to repair my Epson…

rusted them to repair my Epson projector, had to chase them for over 2 months for any progress, eventually it was returned with a different fault and they then showed no interest in rectifying the situation as they'd already got my money. In the end, I paid nearly £300 and my projector is still faulty. Don't be fooled by the offered guarantee, it's clearly worthless as they show no intention of fulfilling it. The warning sign is the the fact that they only take payment by bank transfer which of course is difficult to retrieve if there's a problem. I was naive enough trust them, clearly a mistake. Avoid these guys. May 2024

Their customer services is shambolic…

Their customer services is shambolic and dont have a clue how to organise the most basic collect and repair procedures.....it took them almost x2 weeks after which i was told they dont want to collect or repair my item because they did not like my "tone" when i was asking for an update????....what a load of nonsense!....do not be fooled by their fan y looking website its a deception they are not worth your time....i would have given them zero star if it was possible

Disappointing customer service, still have my projector.

Took some £430 to repair a not that old projector from me, that was in good condition until it one day had red lights and wouldn’t power up.

Came back ‘working’ but with a hair inside the lens assembly causing a blur; and other imaging issues which were not there before.

Stopped working altogether less than 3 months after repair, for what appeared to be the same issue…

Returned my projector to them as requested and had to really chase for replies, after nearly two months, eventually them saying it more serious than anticipated and insinuating I’d need to pay again

They simply stopped responding to me when I pointed out the facts (politely albeit) and they still have my projector nearly a year later; so I’d say it’s not coming back or going to be repaired - I’d read someone else wrote on a Google review that they had also done same thing to them…their projector not repaired properly and upon return they still had theirs 4 months later (at their time of writing).

Poor customer communications in general, nothing like their website implies when reading it …to be honest, suspect it’s a one-man-show and not based in London (probably just a PO Box in Covent Garden).
