Complete con men! Received valuation of £2220. Went through a ridiculous process of videoing the car while their agent took photos. Excellent condition except one small scratch on rear bumper and came back with of offer of £1500. Couldn't justify a £720 reduction for one small scratch and agent admitted online valuation is a con to get you in. Sold car today, 3 days later for £2,200. PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Edit: in reply to their comments. It has not been resolved to my satisfaction, the person I spoke to Yusef, whilst he was helpful and have no personal complaints against him. I did explain to him that I am still very much dissatisfied and feel that the whole situation was horribly dealt with.
Where to start.
I cannot believe what I have just experienced. On the valuation call we had agreed a price of £2900 with just one key, this is despite there online valuation coming in at £3725, apparently as my service history was missing one service during Covid that knocks nearly £1000 off the valuation. Anyway, we move on and agree the £2900.
This is where the SCAM takes place. On the day of collection, the driver does his test drive, all ok. And then asks for the second key, I explained the price was agreed with just the one key. They then offered me £2700 for having just one key despite on the call the agent Mitchell had given me the valuation of £2900 based on one key. I said that was nonsense and as the calls are recorded to have someone check this now. I even told them which call to check. They said no one was available to listen to the recording as it was a Sunday. They then offered £2800 as a take it or leave it offer. £100 less than what was agreed even though there was no change in the condition or circumstances of the car.
Another issue is that after the valuation call, no email with a summary or report is sent so it’s all based off the telephone conversation that you have with the agent. So if the agent doesn’t update their notes or amend the file there is no way I can cross reference/ check that the information they have entered is correct.
Why record the calls if they cannot be listened too?
I will be in touch with them tomorrow to discuss the recording of the conversation and demand the recordings myself and then take this to the office if fair trading or any other legal route possible.
My partner has sold her car with we buy any car dot com and had no issues other than there standard haggling a couple hundred off, but at least that was transparent and done in a tactful way.
Other issues I had were;
Promise of a phone call for a valuation and had no call, so had to chance them for someone to call me.
Driver turns up to test drive the car, no uniform, no work id. He’s just going to drive off with my car without me knowing who he is. (Not his fault but the company should issue them with something official rather than a North Face tracksuit)
Promised a call an hour before the driver was on there was, got s call 10 minutes before hand instead
In short they are a bunch of amateurs, with no note taking, no ability to listen to the phone recording despite being told on the phone the conversation is recorded.
I could have gone into more detail but I don’t want to waste any more energy on this now. But there are lots and lots of issues with the process from start to finish. I can confidently say I will never use them again. I will also do my upmost to spread the word to everyone I know that they are a company that must be avoided. Please consider using another company, even if their original online valuation comes in way higher as they are not worth it, and you will not get anything close to the online valuation anyway.

It was so easy dealing with them. They helped me through the process all the way in such a helpful manner from the first contact to my the collection driver.

What a car trade this company is, no complaints at all, well organised and efficient company, maybe other companies could follow suit.

This company deserves no stars. It was clear from the start that We Want Any Car had no real understanding of how to value up the condition of my car. They were just seeing what they could get away with.
They offer an online video call valuation where through a live stream you go around and video the car, whereby an operative takes snap shots as you go.
The video quality was so bad that you could have shown them a car in mint condition or an absolute banger and they wouldn't have been able to tell. My car was in good condition, had 12 services records, no scrapes, dents or damage, no warning lights or anything like that.
Once the video call finished a different operative rang back about 20 minutes later who clearly knew nothing about cars and said the car was is 'pretty good condition' but it only had partial service history and that it had been graded 3 out of 10.
He couldn't offer me any other reasons why it had been graded so low apart from partial service history and then reduced by initial quote from £2,831 down to £2,000. Without being too rude this bloke was a drone on a phone - nothing more.
You should normally expect deductions from the original quote - that's expected. But not to such a large extent with no credible reason.
I then went to We Buy Any Car who offered an original quote of £2,621 and after an inspection knocked it down to £2,371. At least with We Buy Any Car, the bloke was honest from the start and said which things would knock the price down as he went around and inspected the car. The sale was done within 15 minutes.
Don't use We Want Any Car - it's honestly a waste of time! You'll get more for your money and much better service with We Buy Any Car.

My daughter got a valuation for £8500 for her 22 plate dacia sandero based on the information she gave. The car is pristine and this seemed like a good offer. They phoned and asked for a real time video of the car which we did. We waited a while and they phoned back and said they've got to offer a lower price due to the alloys being terribly scratched. Firstly, they were plastic wheel trims which were pretty obvious and secondly, two of them were brand new and the other two were on the drivers side and were perfect. So basically, they were knocking over £1000 off for some imaginary problem. They are clearly a cowboy company who just want to suck you in and then con you. Avoid. I wouldn't waste your time on them.

The woman i spoke to seemed lovely but that was about it. I was offered £8500 until the inspection… which btw my car is near perfect condition with no noticeable damage at all. The wheel trims are all new and my car was clean and yet they somehow managed to knock down the offer to £7300. My car is only 2 years old (not even) i really have no clue why they wasted my time so much.

Selling a car can be stressful but We Want Any Car made this process so simple and from start to finish. Scott was very helpful when I made my initial enquiry and arranged a call back within half an hour to take pictures of my car whilst we were on the actual call so I didn't have to worry about getting this right. Within 30 mins and offer was made taken into consideration some marks, rust on my csr. He was very polite and advised me that if I had any concerns on the day of delivery I could contact him directly which was reassuring. Four days on my car was collected today by Mark who was great, again making the process quick and easy. The only draw back which stops this from being a 5 star rating is the payment which is said to take between 5 and 10 minutes to be authorised took around 45 minutes as the one member of the team in the department who was able to make the second part of the authorisation had left the building to go to the shop! This was somewhat frustrating not only for myself but for the driver collecting the car. Nonetheless he could not have apologised enough and once this was rectified the payment was in my account! I would recommend this company to anyone wanting to sell their car quickly!

If i could give nos stars i would.
Staff, persons on the phone make it up as they go along, total misinformation.. they either have too much business or the owners are not aware of what is going on and losing even more business.
They never call back as stated 5 times.
'Appointment times' are meaningless.
I have wasted so much of my time that i do not have.😂
A good waste of a few hours if that's what you're into.
I wish i swore, as this is when a few expletives would be warrented.

Contacted you twice to arrange an appointment after accepting your offer. Did not hear back either time. Not impressive.

Basically sold the car in less than 72 hours from initial contact to payment.
The initial call to go around the car was straight forward with a video call to take photos of the car. I told them about the damage to the car because I didn't want any surprises at collection time.
The amount offered was lower than the original price quoted, but that was without the damage, so I expected it to go down.
On the day of collection, a nice man called Les turned up, took it for a very quick drive, inspected the car and then asked head office to send me an email to put in my bank details. 10 minutes later, the money was in and the car was gone.
Very straightforward, and compared to some of the other car buying services, a doddle. I'd use these guys again for sure.

So easy to sell , would recommend and will use again .
Very polite and easy to talk to and paid into bank within 5 mins without charge like some other companies

They should be more honest about making an online offer. I was very open about some minor faults on my car when they valued my old car at £4,496. After contacting them and submitting the same information their valuation was only £3,500 - that is a shocking difference. It seems they lure you in by offering a good price but then make their money by offering you much less when it comes to the crunch.

Absolute rubbish and that’s putting it politely. They say they phone when they don’t. They say they will pass your details onto the team and they don’t. I spoke to someone on Friday and arranged a video call back for today after 12 days of chasing and leaving my contact details and guess what - no phone call. They can’t even dial a phone number correctly. STAY AWAY from this company - go to we buy any car instead as they don’t mess you around and they do what they say. This company is an absolute joke.
