What’s for dinner is an absolute joke…

What’s for dinner is an absolute joke order is completely wrong when called to tell them and spoke on the chat explaining the contents they delivered which I did not order that the substituted it I’m allergic to the ingredients in the Diet Coke and they just didn’t care

Unhappy with delivery service

The worst delivery service in Galway

I have been using this company for 10+ years and over the past few years the operations staff have really tested my patience, with one rude and condescending guy in particular, takes no responsibility when in the wrong/ refuses to apologise. An example: I was apparently in the wrong the other night for having to wait 2+hours for my delivery as I did not answer my phone to give directions to the lost driver, REALLY?! Then to be told he couldn't look up my order as I didn't have an order number, what order number? they haven't sent me an "order number in 10 years"?!
Then I went on to send 2 emails( Had No reply) then 3 phone calls later managed to get my 10 Euro voucher emailed to me(my CHANGE for paying with cash btw) SIX DAYS AFTER MY PUCHACE! The only saving grace and consistent person in this company is Jarlath (delivery guy) Always so lovely.

Abysmal

Abysmal. After waiting for over an hour I checked my email only to learn that my order was cancelled shortly after being placed. I was simply informed. No reason or explanation was provided.

They have a habit of poor customer service, and this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had. My McDonald’s order arrived with the seal on the bag already torn open. When I asked the driver why he’d opened it, he said, “to make sure the order was right.” The order details are literally printed on the receipt, so there was no reason for him to open my food.

To make things worse, the receipt showed the order was packed 45 minutes before it arrived at my house — and I only live about 4 km away. By the time it arrived, both the coffee and the food were completely cold.

I wasn’t surprised to find so many other bad reviews after this experience — it seems this kind of service is unfortunately common. I won’t be using them again.

Hello its a great company wfd and the best driver is Jay he is so helpful and bring the heavy bag for me inside my house and very friendly and nice guys he is fast and quick from store , i wish all the wfd driver should be like him and he has a good english , wish him best of luck in his job

I recently ordered from this Mr Chef and was really disappointed. The chips were preheated, and they were crispy and unedible—there was no potato in the middle, just crunchy, hard exteriors. It felt like they were just reheated leftovers, and honestly, it was pretty disgusting. For a place that charges what they do, I expected better quality, especially with something as simple as chips. When I tried to speak to the manager about it, he basically made me out to be a liar. He insisted the food was delivered on time and that everything else was fine, but the chips were awful. He refused to send fresh ones and didn’t take my concerns seriously. Definitely won’t be ordering from here again.

Review

Review: Privacy Violation and Unacceptable Conduct

I am extremely disappointed with how my recent complaint was handled. I specifically requested that a certain delivery driver not be sent to my address due to a personal issue. Instead of respecting my privacy, the company shared my complaint with the driver, who then showed up at my home with another person to confront me.

This is a serious breach of privacy and completely unacceptable. I made my request clearly and privately—it should never have been disclosed to the individual in question. I now feel unsafe and disrespected in my own home.

A professional service should protect customer confidentiality, not escalate issues or expose personal concerns. I hope this situation is taken seriously and that proper steps are taken to ensure no other customer experiences the same breach of trust.

Always late

Always late. They say estimated time is 15 to 60 minutes and most times it take more. Customer service have no clue or extra info about the reason behind the delay or how long it will take and they clearly dont care.

Ordered food and milkshake from this website and it arrived late , the food was gone cold and the milkshake was half empty, I do not know was it drank from or did it spill and I just threw it in the bin

Terrible service and appalling customer…

Terrible service and appalling customer care! I'm based in Mayo and my experience with this business was beyond disappointing, primarily due to the so-called "manager," who seems in desperate need of retraining or at least a lesson on proper customer service.

Due to a glitch in the app, my order was processed twice. I calmly explained the situation, but instead of resolving it, the manager dismissed my concerns and became increasingly rude and condescending when I persisted. He outright refused to issue a refund, leaving me no choice but to file a dispute with my bank — thankfully, I was able to recover my money.

What should have been a simple five-minute resolution turned into a frustrating ordeal because of his dismissive attitude. As a once-loyal customer, I can confidently say I will NEVER use this app again. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Terrible customer care they don’t care

This is what I had to email to whatsfordinner. Iv ordered from them a lot and never complained before. I live 5 mins from the restaurant. They were so rude.
“I’m just off the phone with one of your customer care agents. I explained it was unacceptable that I received a cold pizza. I have ordered many times with your app and I never got a stone cold pizza before. He understood eventually and then asked if we consumed the pizza I said my daughter had because she was starving. He said there’s nothing I can do I said that’s bullshit and he said I was offensive and hung up. I’m so disappointed I will never order from your app again and I will be telling all my friends about this so they also don’t use your app. You could train your customer agents better. If I’m a busy mother who let their child eat a cold pizza because they were starving I shouldn’t be punished. I will be leaving a review when iv time. I may also post on social media so people know your company is dubious with terrible customer care”
Btw the pizza was delivered without a thermal delivery bag which it normally would be. This is standard protocol for a hot food delivery. Whether we ate it or not isn’t the point. The point is you failed to deliver the food properly. A proper business would take responsibility instead of gaslighting the customer. We did pay for the service after all.

Having ordered a couple of times from whatsfordinner.ie
I have to say what top class service they offer particularly in the Naas Newbridge area.
Very punctual and extremely friendly and always have the order right.
Special mention has to go to pat my recent delivery driver
Super friendly pleasure to deal with and made sure everything was in the order even down to the milk sugar etc
I would recommend this service to anyone and I will certainly be returning.
Definitely gives just eat a run for there money as I have has nothing but excellent experiences.

If i could give this app a zero star i…

If i could give this app a zero star i wud. Spent 40 mins trying to order food from jps steak house mullingar. Setting up account etc.. Went past 9pm and service was no longer available. I tried to order from pasta bella who informed me I cud order through app. Only to get same message.. no delivery available.. this service gives restaurants a bad name as they advertise delivery and it is not actually an option. And the restaurants are actually amazing
