Conartists! Businesses Stay away!

Conartists! We were cold called repeatedly by Wholein1Golf in 2019 and after long and drawn out conversations signed up for 2 years as a partner. Monmths passed by before we had any confirmation of our advert that was going to be diusplayed and we never recieved any proof that it was indeed being shown in any of the golf clubs. Then we hit cpovid and gold clubs were forced to close. No word from W1G throiughout regardds the ramifications this had for our contract as our advert was no longer being shown (if it ever was). After the 1st 12 months were paid up and resigned to a second year with them, albeit at least this was no paid for and the clubs were reopen. From that initiual design and early contact we never heard from them again. no design review, no feedback on the advert, no innovation despite changes in technology, social media platforms etc. NOTHING. Then at the end of the 2 years we are contacted out of the blue and told that we have been resigned up for a further year - a point i disputed repeatedly and set out my case, only to be told they needed 6 months notice to leave (despite this not being in the contract that I was provided with). Their "director" has dodged my calls and emails since January - and will NOT provide an update. They are horrifical unprofessional and frankly provide a "service" that isnt worth the paper they write it on.

Advertising Service is a Scam!

Advertising Service is a Scam!
I was harassed with at least three phone calls (cold calling by the way) and emails by a rep w for several weeks. He promoted their great advertising package to me where my advert would be seen across several screens in my gold club of choice, on the golf caddies, on apps etc...nothing could be further from the truth!

No sooner had I said yes to going ahead did I receive a contract from Premium Credit for the six monthly payment instalments as a credit contract. Nevertheless because there was no matter of interest payments I signed the agreement and went ahead. I heard nothing further from the sales rep from then on, but other people sending me a welcome pack about joining their golf partners, and about their networking events. I am not a golfer and as such was not interested in all the 'extras' they said they included in my advertising package, nor was I interested in the social events, I simply wanted my adverts run as agreed.

A couple of weeks or so later I received proof of the graphics of the advert. I immediately approved it because I thought it was good enough, this was 4/11/19. According to the email from the graphics person: "When your approved adverts are live you will receive an email confirmation from our App development team, at which point the advertising part of your contract will begin." I might receive that email confirmation tomorrow because to date I have received NOTHING to confirm my advert was live.

I waited a month and heard nothing of my advert having gone live. The first instalment of £247.80 was promptly taken out at the end of November. I began to chase for a response with emails and phone calls throughout December as I had been looking forward to my advert beginning during November towards the Christmas trading period. My emails were ignored and phone calls ended with promises of a return call that did not happen. Having lost the opportunity of the Christmas trading period, and receiving no help whatsoever from the company by way of tangible communication, I halted the next instalment due on 29/12/19 pending some kind of explanation and resolution with the company.

Through January I sent emails and made phone calls to the company to no avail. A few weeks later I received email notifications from Premium Credit about late payment. I called Premium Credit and explained that I had stopped the payments because I had not received the service for which I was meant to be paying. They apologised to me and promptly took me off the agreement with them, sent me written confirmation, and referred the matter back to Wholeinonegolf. Rather than Wholeinonegolf contact me to find out what the problem was, they began to bombard me with phone calls (hurrah!) about late payments and emails about the same. I explained to their staff with each phone call that the payments had stopped until I had confirmation that my adverts were running; they would promise a call back and I continued to get emails re late payments.

Eventually I got an email from someone about the matter. I replied letting him know what had been going on and I was unhappy about their service. After several Q&A emails, he sent me three links which according to him were the apps on which my adverts were running and said I was also live on the TV screen (should have been screens) at the club; this was on 12/2/20.

The links he sent to me were merely screen shots of various electronic gadgets i.e. mobile phones, ipads, tablets, on which my ads should have been. I agreed with someone from the Finance Team that I would personally visit the club to see the advert before resuming payment. There had been just 1 TV monitor in the little room that served as a bar, and it had Sky Sports permanently on I was informed by the staff there.

I have since asked Wholeinonegolf for my £247.80 back, but get disgusting emails from the rather belligerent manager about how they must keep my money for the graphics work done (I have no use for their artwork apart from their adverts), and running the advert (a lie!). He said it's such a paltry amount of money. I agree, but they're not willing to give it back (and I work hard personally for every penny)...it all adds up in their profits! He's even threatened me with a legal suit if I give them a bad review here. My first review was removed because they complained it violated Trust Pilot guidelines, they are desperate to hide the truth.
