What an amazing local service. I thought what I asked was a big ask but yet again Wilcox and carter pulled it out the bag. Absolutely chuffed to bits and what a phenomenal job. Nothing is ever too much and also never any pressure to buy. A grand service and a great family run jeweller

James was very helpful, I was looking to have a ring made, described what I was after and was provided digital images of what this would look like. I then changed my mind on the style I wanted, very useful having the digital images available to view before it got made! I’m now very happy with what I chose in the end.

James was fantastic, very professional and knowledgeable. He was able to get my rings resized when other establishments said it was not possible. Took exactly the time quoted to complete the alterations. Very professional and friendly service. Will recommend and use again.

I was looking for an eternity ring and went to all the usual main high street ones but could not find anything to fit snugly around my engagement and wedding rings. Bespoke made jewellery was offered for extremely high prices and having felt thoroughly deflated my husband and I popped into Wilcox and Carter on our way back to the car park. We dealt with James who was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and not pushy at all. James did suggest having a bespoke ring made & designed and the price brackets quoted were incredibly reasonable. We began the process and from start to finish it was seamless, nothing was too much trouble and all James cared about was that we were 100% happy with the design. We collected my ring yesterday and to say I am delighted would be a massive understatement! It is amazing and there is no way I will ever return to the big brand high street jewellery stores again. The whole experience was so personal and professional and I now have a one of a kind bespoke high quality eternity ring. If you have any jewellery requirements the only place you need to go is Wilcox and Carter ❤️

The team at Wilcox & Carter have given excellent service in alternating my wedding ring. The turnaround time was exactly as promised, and the price was very reasonable for the quality of workmanship. . I wouldn’t hesitate to return for future repairs or purchases and would highly recommend them to anyone needing jewellery alterations

Thank you so much for doing such an amazing restoration job on my Grandmas sapphire ring. It was in a terrible state and I was unsure if it could be fixed. I was reassured it would be ok so I left it with James and crossed my fingers!
I hadn’t worn if for many years due to its condition and for sentimental reasons I didn’t want to make it worse or lose the stones.
I need not have worried as my Grandmas flat squashed, misshaped, sapphire ring is just beautiful again and now safe enough to wear.
I am so happy with the care taken and that James understood what the ring meant to me.

Katherine was absolutely brilliant yesterday. She helped me put together FIVE Talisman bracelets yesterday. She was so patient and made brilliant suggestions for the type of bracelets and charms. Customer service at it's best as always at Wilcox and Carter

I have received excellent service from James and Naomi. They are very helpful, polite and patient when explaining how to add charm links to my bracelet. They have added charms for me, sent photographs before posting my bracelet back to me. All dealt with in a day with incredible efficiency. I am delighted and will definitely use them again.

Would highly recommend Wilcox and carter, I asked if they could make a sentimental ring with my dads ashes in it, James was very helpful and really respectful through my whole experience, I was kept updated through out, they went above and beyond to find the right colour of green I wanted, very impressed and would definitely use them again, many thanks for everything

I would highly recommend this jewelers. They're service is outstanding. I had an issue with PayPal where they had double charged me. This had nothing to do with the jewelers but Katherine kindly contacted them for me and got my money straight back! I couldn't have been more thankful to them.
I also received my order in timely manner and the charms were packaged beautifully.
I would honestly say this company was trustworthy, efficient and they would definitely go the extra mile to help! I will definitely be ordering from them again.

I needed a bespoke wedding ring to fit around my round engagement ring with a week to get it after being let down by a different jewellers. James told me he could get it done within a few days and delivered on that promise. My ring is a perfect fit to my engagement ring and it was a big weight off my shoulders after accepting I may not have my ring for my wedding day. Can’t recommend them enough.

My daughter recommended visiting this shop in Boston, I was looking for a ruby ring for.my wedding anniversary, couldn't find what I was looking for, James was extremely helpful, attentive, offered several suggestions and I decided on something he designed, an adaptation of another ring I liked the style of, made the ring and it was sent in the post as we live in Newcastle.
I love it, it is perfect.
The service from entering the shop to receiving my ring was excellent, personal, the ring made in a week and posted out to me.

He guided me patiently through choosing the setting and diamond, helping me build a ring that felt truly personal. I even learnt a thing or two about diamonds along the way! My wife and I have been customers of Wilcox & Carter for many years both with James and his dad. They have always shown excellent expertise and knowledge and their service is second to none. Our last purchase was actually turned out to be a commission for our 55 years wedding anniversary - James didn’t have exactly what we wanted so he suggested that he could have a ring made for us - he sourced the exact stones that we wanted and had his jeweller make up a wax blank for us. A few days later we viewed the blank and the stones and gave the go-ahead - less than two weeks later my wife has a beautiful unique ring on her finger and a big, big smile.

We were recommended to visit Wilcox and Carter after recently moving to the area and needing to have some rings resized. From the moment we walked in we had a good customer experience. James was very knowledgeable and gave us great advice. The rings were left to gain a quote and James rang and discussed this before we proceeded. The rings were resized promptly and in the timescale as promised; we are very happy with the results. The overall experience has been excellent and we will certainly be using them again when the need arises. We would not hesitate to recommend Wilcox and Carter.
