Absolutely loathe it and can't wait to move everything elsewhere. Been using it for 7 years. The whole thing is hopelessly out of date, and an incredible pain in the ass to do anything on.

This is a SaaS product from 2002, I think. It's hard to use, ugly and produces a terrible user experience. Yes, I know, I tried it out in advance of signing up, but until you actually try to use it to... See more

Have Used This Software for Almost 12 Months Now

Am using this software service to manage the membership of a club with nearly 500 memberships. I did not receive any training prior to using the software but was able to generally figure out how things work. I think that this software would work well for other organizations that need to manage and track memberships, including payments.

Great website product, easy to use for the non-professional

We are a small non-profit senior women's organization and most of us are not highly technically trained and all volunteers. We have found that Wild Apricot is very easy to manage, even for those of us with minimal website design skills (or none). The online help is very complete, and contacting WA for help is sure to get you immediate assistance. As Communications Chair of the organization, I have managed content on the site for several years and have found it suits our needs very well. I highly recommend Wild Apricot for any not-for-profit organization!

WIld Apricot has been a great addition…

WIld Apricot has been a great addition for our club. As an administrator it gave me complete insight into how each event was selling and provided an ideal platform for reconciliation. We have used WA for 2 years with great success and can see that it will meet our needs for the foreseeable future. I would recommend it highly to any club.

Worth the Effort

Although a steep learning curve to begin with, Wild Apricot has proved to us that it is worth the investment and there is plenty of flexibility for our requirements for Membership Management as well as being quite easy to set up and develop our website with most of the functionality we need.

Solid software with a refreshingly responsive support team

I became treasurer of a neighborhood organization and the Wild Apricot Software was already in use, so I had to learn it quickly. It is surprisingly intuitive and, I feel, a great value for the money. On the few occasions that I was unable to figure something out, their customer service has been amazing. The responses have been quick and are clearly personalized to my specific situation, not a template response.

I love this program

I love this program. It has made a significant and positive change for how our organization is able to handle our membership database and communications. The price is very affordable. The customer service is outstanding.

Powerful but easy

A feature rich but easy to use membership database program that can link to online dues paying, set up registrations and payment for workshops and conferences, send email blasts to members, notify members when its time to renew their dues, etc. As Treasurer I keep up with and manage the member records so I use it frequently for our organization.

Great Decision but . . . .

Switching to Wild Apricot was one of the best decisions our organization has made. We now can manage all our member data, take registrations for events and payments online. We can send emails to all or members or a select group of members with just a few keystrokes.

Our one complaint for an association management application package, and it's pretty major from our viewpoint is that while our members receive automatic membership renewal notices it defaults to the type of membership they had for the just ending membership period. This is a problem because we have student memberships and that means that when a member who was a non-voting student member but has now completed their program and needs to join as a voting member they are not able to do so. They receive a renewal reminder that provides a renewal for ONLY a student membership. This issues applies not only to studen members who have completed their program, but also to members who were voting but have either retired or for some reason are not working in the legal field and don't qualify for a voting membership but still want to support our organization by staying on as associate members. This causes frustration and confusion and subsequently creates a lot of extra work which unfortunately negates some of the great efficiencies we love about Wild Apricot. Our organization would love to see this problem addresses and fixed.

The person that helped me was…absolutely wonderful

The person that helped me was wonderful. I had made a complete mess
on a payment and refund that we received and he took the time to walk me through it and fix everything. I couldn't have asked for better service and from a pleasant person.

I have always had wonderful help from your support team.

What we find helpful with Wild Apricot

Our organization only uses some of the functions at Wild Apricot but it works well for our membership records and email broadcasts. We find paying in American dollars quite expensive since the exchange rate has changed in the last several years. I am always happy to have the help function available when I run into questions.

Two huge price jumps, not worth ir

I started using wildapricot about three years ago for a nonprofit organization that I am the webmaster for. At first it was a great value for the amount of money I was paying for the product. However in the past two years the price has jumped up exponentially with no real new functions that are of use to me or my organization. The first price jump I understood, but when they announced another rise in price not six months later with nothing new to justify the price I was really annoyed.
Needless to say I will be looking for another service to use. I would say that the service is good out way overpriced for a small organization like mine.

It works, but.....

It’s designed by techies with all that implies I.e. it works fine but not particularly user-friendly with jargon / design to match.
