Took nearly 30 minutes to get item which I found because they couldn't. Got some snarky comment from the lady on the till. Not even a click and collect area so queued up with everyone else.
Wrong collection address given
I was directed by the confirmation email to “Wilko Ruislip”. I went to the nearest Wilko, which is in Uxbridge. Having paid for parking etc I was told that actually I should be at Homebase in Ruislip. The collection location should be made clear in the confirmation.

AWFUL Customer Experience
Ordered the Matara 6 Seater Dining Set on 13 March and paid £214.98 upfront, with delivery (which cost me £15!) promised by 24 March.
The item never arrived and I had zero communication from anyone.
No courier contact, no delivery updates, and no proactive communication at any point. I had to chase repeatedly just to get basic information. Nearly three weeks after the promised delivery date, I was finally told the item was out of stock - something they clearly knew long before but failed to communicate.
By that stage, I had no choice but to buy a replacement elsewhere at a higher cost as the order was for a family event we were hosting.
While they eventually issued a refund, this only came after significant delay and considerable time and effort on my part. They have refused to cover the additional £35 I had to spend as a direct result of their failure to deliver, and instead offered a £10 gift card, which is frankly inadequate and insulting. To make matters worse, it is now 1 May and this measly £10 voucher has only just been offered - and I haven’t even received it yet.
This wasn’t a minor delay - it was a complete breakdown in order fulfilment and customer service. Taking full payment for goods they couldn’t supply, failing to inform the customer, and only acting when heavily chased is not acceptable in the slightest.
I would strongly caution against ordering from Wilko, particularly for larger or time-sensitive items. If something goes wrong, expect poor communication and the bare minimum resolution after an extended period. I will never EVER be purchasing from them again, and I am letting everyone I know what a s*it show their company is.

Absolutely shocking customer service
Absolutely shocking customer service. Ordered a bed 17 April. Finally got a tracking email on 26th saying it would de delivered by 29th. It’s now 1st May and nothing. Trying to get help is impossible, just reams of links to articles that have you going round in circles and the live chat doesn’t have anyone available. It’s the most ridiculously frustrating experience

I ordered some garden furniture which on the website clearly said that customer assembly was not required. It arrived over 2 days in 3 boxes definitely not ready assembled. I have tried to contact them using their online form which says you get an acknowledgement once received. I have sent 2 messages and an email but no response. I have tried to ring but all numbers I have found on google are not recognised. I have tried to contact the manufacturers of the furniture using the number and email on their website but the number is not recognised and no response from the email. Absolute shoddy service I will never buy from them again. I will be complaining to Trading Standards as the information on their website is incorrect
Garden furniture order didn't arrive.
Waited in all day yesterday for delivery of garden furniture that i ordered online on April 18th. Had an original delivery date of April 29th, which was amended by them to yesterday:- April 30th, between 8am and 6pm. When using the track order option, there is no live tracking available, which in this day and age is really poor. I believe they (the range, who run wilko.com) use DX Logistics. I've had issues with them in the past, mainly that they don't deliver on the promised date and you have no way of live tracking / contacting them. The furniture i purchased is over £600, so a decent spend. Really poor that they use such an unreliable freight provider. I've messaged Wilko.com support, so will see what comes back and if it turns up today or over the weekend. I'll then amend my review accordingly.
