Absolutely rubbish ever and ever this is the joke

I can't believe how hard it's been to access the William Hill site from London. As a UK resident, I expected to have no issues, but I keep getting blocked!

It’s really frustrating to see a site that’s supposed to serve UK customers but doesn’t allow access. I’ve tried everything—clearing my cache, changing browsers, and even contacting customer service, but nothing worked! It feels like they’re ignoring many of us.

The lack of clear communication is disappointing. Instead of enjoying a simple betting experience, I’m left confused and annoyed. It allows you to place bets, but good luck checking if you won afterward! If you’re in the UK, I’d recommend finding a different platform that actually values its customers.

I’m not a regular bettor, but when I do bet, I want to see if I win or lose. Right now, this site is just frustrating! Overall, it’s a disappointing experience, and honestly, one star is too generous!

Beware of working for this company.

I recently applied for a position at William Hill and had a rather disappointing experience. After being contacted through Indeed, I was asked to complete an online 'game,' which I passed. I was then invited for an interview 2 weeks later, but the process left much to be desired.

The manager conducting the interview appeared to be unfamiliar with both the job itself and how to conduct an effective interview. She merely recited the job description and did not provide any opportunity for me to discuss my background or skills, despite my extensive experience in customer service.

During the conversation, I was unexpectedly informed that the role would require travelling to various branch stores across the city, rather than being based at a single location as advertised online. Even the manager acknowledged that this requirement was unfair. She admitted that she was unaware of how the recruitment process worked and that the final decision was up to HR, leaving many of my questions unanswered.

Moreover, she mentioned that a previous candidate had returned to the store after two weeks without any follow-up from the recruitment team, which added to the overall sense of disorganisation and lack of professionalism.

At the end of the interview, I felt confused and underwhelmed. It seemed as though they either already had another candidate in mind or were deterred by the fact that I did not have a driving licence, despite my willingness to use public transport.

In hindsight, after reading other reviews, it appears I may have dodged a bullet. The hiring process felt unprofessional and disorganised from the start. I received no updates from the recruitment team, and the interview process seemed like a mere formality.

I hope my experience serves as a warning to others considering applying here. Based on my encounter, I would advise proceeding with caution.

Been with william hill a long time and…

Been with william hill a long time and had no problem . But twice now they have stopped me using promotions . The last time they did they changed there reason 3 times as to why. There is no reason why they block you using promotions except one of there reasons they gave was they were concerned about my gambling ! I have a limit set and have never gone over this and even called me to ask . They even gave a reason they were concerned due a health problem i have which doesnt in any way effect what im doing . Its none of there business anyway and my conclusion is they just didnt like me winning any money ! Blocking promotions but still allowing me to deposit makes no sense ! This company is a joke ! Most of my wins were from free spins ..why give free spins if you are going to throw your toys out the pram when someone wins from them .

WH is a joke

All the gambling sites got more free games for people that can use and play but william hill hardly gives people free games. The daily drop is absolute joke, all they want is ppl's real money to play. Nothing hardly gets from them. My partner got few GSites like Ladbroke,coral,bet365 etc... and he always gets something fir free that he can use on bets or even in games. William hill is a joke, daily drop 1 scratchcard? And nothing,5free spins ? Nothing,10 free spins? Nothing, and I'm not even commenting if you have some issues and Tey to resolve it through a chat help, like people say ok here they transfer you from there to there and nothing gets sorted. I am done with WH. Will use different site that gives people more .

Went on to Live Chat for some help logging in to my account, and within 40 MINUTES of being ‘transferred’ back and forth to colleagues, my issue still wasnt resolved. I ended the chat and won’t be using William Hill again.

Their machines slaughter hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of pounds now for fun, and give barely any wins.....

Their FOBTS in their shops are completely atrocious these last 3 years, but the last 8/12 months, they have been practically turned off !!!
Put it this way, if you took 3 grand out the bank, went in on 6 separate occasions (£500 a time), you will lose 5 of them, and the winning time will probably be a £30 win and your money back after almost losing it 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯 I literally will not play these anymore, the chances of winning big money are actually and literally non existent, i have played them for 20+ years, they are honestly the worst they have EVER been lately, you are actually giving money away playing these, FACT !!!!!

UPDATE

TP we really need a zero stars option. Contacted WH on 1st Sept with query. They started an "investigation". 8 weeks almost up and zero response. They simply couldn't care less. Let's hope the GC care more. Read all the reviews, why would anyone want to join WH, their behaviour is deplorable.
