It's very good but gave it 4 stars only because of the limited data you can use in free plan

I signed up for Windscribe but I was confused about a particular service they offer, when I realized it after I asked the chatbot if I can have a refund and it sent me to a human. Since I didn't even use any data on my account I got a refund the same day. If I ever need VPN services in the future I will use Windscribe again because I know they are trustworthy!

I've been using winscribe pro for about a year but I've switched. It's good don't get me wrong, it's easy to use, it offers many services that other providers just cant offer at this price range, and a good amount of servers, and the devs got an unmatched sense of humour, but personally the speed is what killed it for me. I do not use most of the extras the service offers, but maybe you will. It's still a great service!

This provider has many advantages. But I want to focus on what I consider to be the most important one, which perfectly characterizes this provider as a whole.

I live in Russia, so if you haven't heard about the state of the internet there, I'll explain. The war on VPNs has been going on for years, hundreds of billions of rubles have been invested in censorship systems, and we've already surpassed China and are approaching North Korea in terms of blocking. Every byte passes through government DPI, everything you transmit and receive from the internet is stored for three years for analysis, the Russian DNS revokes addresses of undesirable websites, and Russian apps begin spying on you directly on your devices, reporting installed VPN clients and their exit IPs for subsequent blocking.

I've been using Windscribe for about nine years, since the beginning of all this. With each new wave of blocking, the internet suffered, and the government didn't consider the collateral damage. Banks and communications channels were hit, businesses lost profits, and users lost contact with loved ones. Windscribe was blocked, but it rose again, continually finding ways to circumvent new, increasingly sophisticated blocking methods. And it continues to do so to this day. It's one of the few VPN providers that has invested so much effort in the fight for freedom of speech.

The free version is pretty good and user-friendly—it makes you want to explore further. Since money’s tight right now, I’m sticking with the free version, but as soon as I can, I’m upgrading.
One more thing: if you’re having trouble or don’t quite get the interface… Garry’s here: the funniest chatbot on the entire internet—his humor had me in stitches… it’s a nice pick-me-up during these gloomy times.

On the whole I am very pleased with Windscribe. Their support is excellent, but there are still a couple of channels I can’t receive.

The VPN is excellent currently overseas and works consistently the customer service via the BOT is also excellent I will have no hesitation renewing my subscription to PRO later this year.

Being using Windscribe now can’t say maybe 4 years no matter I always find my way back home

First time ever seeing such a responsive chatbot. Every answer was right on the question, it was a clear and useful answer. Nothing more to add, 10/10.

Windscribe actually delivers what other VPNs only promise. I use it on my PC, phone, and even my Apple TV. It is easy to use. The 10 Gbps connections are beasts; my poor computer is the real bottleneck:). Easy setup, no weird limits. The AI support (named Garry) works very good, with straight talk, solutions and he has humor. Couldn’t be happier with it.
