Do not order from them.

Ordered on Dec. 6, 2022. Tracking says its getting to recipient on Dec. 27. 2022. It was supposed to get there Dec. 22. And they substituted the whole order. It was supposed to ham, quiche, muffins. ect. My sister isn't getting any of that. They're sending biscuits and gravy and English muffins. I paid $125.00. All they will do is refund my shipping cost. Do business elsewhere.

Do Not Order From Wolfermans

I would rate Wolferman's a ZERO if possible. For the 3rd straight year they completely messed up my order. This year, after not getting my deliveries, I called Wolferman's with my confirmation number and they said they'd never heard of me. On top of that they tried to make it sound like it was all my fault! I placed my order via phone in November and that took 1 hour for 4 of the same orders (4 different recipients). Today I had to spend another hour on the phone. Had to completely create a new order.
I've been ordering from Wolferman's for almost 20 years and they used to be a great company. But I will never order from them again!!

So embarrassing....

I have never been so embarrassed in sending gifts from Wolferman's. TERRIBLE customer service--substituting by throwing muffins in a box....when it should have been bread.....and not notifying me....Sending out english muffins when crumpets were ordered. Recipient doesn't even like your muffins and they are receiving 2 sampler packages???? I even made sure I placed my order VERY VERY early. You have lost a customer. Very disappointing.....

Horrible customer service!

Horrible customer service!! I placed orders for multiple gifts on Nov 25, with scheduled delivery the week of Dec 12. It’s now December 20 and only 1 out of the 3 orders has been delivered. 1 order was for a Christmas party last Saturday. I called Wolferman’s to get an update and was told that one of the items was sold out and couldn’t be delivered until after the first of the year. Why was I not notified by Wolferman’s?? Had I not called I would never have known. I spoke with an agent then the call was transferred to a supervisor (supposedly). NO empathy for the situation caised BY Wolferman and now I have to scramble on Dec 20 to fix their mess. And no apology was ever offered. I have been a customer for 8+ years…but no longer. Absolutely horrible experience.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!

First off, if I could give a no stars review I would. We ordered a Christmas Brunch basket for my wife's twin sister and husband. We paid the extra cost to have it delivered on 12/17 because they were going out of town. I called the evening of the 17th because when checking the status tere still was NOT a tracking number. The phone connection was terrible ad the person could not speak English very well. She assured me, "it will be there on the 17th". I checked when I got up on the 18th. No tracking number! I called and although I had a better connection, The girl could not speak English very well. I asked her where she was and she said the Philippines. Then she checked on my order. She came back on the line and said my order had been cancelled. Of course I was livid and still cannot believe it. I will NEVER EVER order from Wolferman's, Harry and David, or any other companies that are owned by these people. There basically ruined Christmas for us!!!

I used to love this product

I used to love this product, but hasn't ordered it in years. Terrible, English muffins were dry and crumbly. Very little flavor. I had given some away as gifts. Wish I had not!

At least my experience is consistent…

At least my experience is consistent with the other contributors. The most frustrating of customer service experiences. The website is impossible to maneuver forcing you to call the 800 number where the knowledge of English by the CS personnel is minimal. One can not deviate from the template of questions or responses. At the conclusion of the transaction I was not provided with a confirmation è-mail. Next day I was charged twice. The jury is out if I get two orders, a credit or nothing at all. NEVER again will I purchase something from Wolfermans.

USED TO BE WONDERFUL… I got their…

USED TO BE WONDERFUL… I got their holiday catalog and nostalgically remembered their lovely items from the past. Ordered & paid 9 DEC THEN REALIZED PRODUCT WOULD NOT SHIP TIL NEXT AUGUST. (I could have a baby faster!) We did get a refund but the call center staff barely speak English. THEN looked I at recent reviews with terrible quality feedback. I’m glad I didn’t get any so I can keep my old Fond memories.

Saw a 2 package English muffin deal…

Saw a 2 package English muffin deal online for $14.99. Clicked and went to website. Pop up said 10% off for first order but didn't show. I continued anyway but their system couldn't get my address correct and I couldn't fix it. Called the next day and spoke to supervisor that told me they didn't sell the two package deal anymore. I asked about the 4 package deal for $24.99, she said that was now $39.99!! That's when I hung up. Never got the chance to see if the muffins were any good.

Bad move - ordered Bûche De Noël …

I ordered a Bûche De Noël for our Christmas dinner. I paid $20 extra so I could specify a delivery date. Well the Bûche De Noël was delivered today, the 10th!!! It was supposed to be fozen so it would keep until Christmas -- no such luck!!!! The thing was room temperature. So, not only did the company deliver something WAY too early, but they delivered something that wasn't actually safe to eat. All in all they did me a favor as I did take a chance and have a small taste of it. It was horrible. I would have been embarrassed to serve this to my guests on Christmas day. So, now it's on to plan B -- but I do have time to plan!!! All I know for sure is Wolferman's won't be involved this time!!! Don't waste your money!!!

Speak English PLEASE

Couldn’t understand and had to repeat everything numerous times. Tried ordering from catalog. Had code for free shipping on 2 orders but ended up paying shipping on one order I later submitted online. Your website is too confusing. I had tried a few days ago and then went to my catalog but didn’t find the items. I have ordered from Wolfermans for years but this will be the last. I spent an hour trying to order 2 items and still had to go online for one order. Customer service stinks. You need to simplify your website and make ordering a pleasant experience instead of a nightmare!

HORRIBLE

HORRIBLE customer service. After repeating my business name and address 5 times for the return label they still screwed it up. Instead of Turner Heating and Air conditioning, it read TurnerSpeeding& Air Condition. It was too late to make the change so now my customers will get a box with the wrong sender information. I remember when Wolferman's had quality goods, but not anymore, it's now outsourced to other countries with garbage products and terrible customer service. Save your time and embarrassment, you are better off with Hickory Farms.

If I could give it a zero I would

If I could give it a zero I would. We have ordered the nutty sticky buns for holidays for at least the last decade. Last year was a disaster as they never arrived but I put that off to Covid.

Switch to this year. I read a couple of reviews online that said they could use some more pecans on them. Ok how about they could use any pecans on them. These were absolutely awful. Dry, no flavor, no “sticky” and no pecans. And they cost $30. Absolutely ridiculous. I am DONE with Wolfermans and Harry and David. Judging from the reviews here this is the beginning of their demise. How sad. Don’t waste your money.

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service. After seeing my shipment did not arrive at its final FedEx destination 2 days prior to intended delivery I called wolfermans rep. Who stated 3 times that the delivery is guaranteed to be on time. The next day the shipment still was not at its final FedEx location. Another phone call to another rep told me it will be overnighted and the package will be on time. Day of guaranteed delivery came and NO PACKAGE. another phone call to another rep. Stated "I'm sorry about a dozen times" shipment will not be arriving today. I asked to speak to a manager. None was available to talk to me.
11pm on day of delivery I get an email saying that delivery may be another week. I get am email after the fact.
Horrible Horrible customer service.

HORRIBLE Customer Service

I’m now on hold for nearly 35 minutes with a CSR who asked me to repeat my zip code five times, couldn’t spell my name and has no idea how to issue a refund to my credit card for an order that was never delivered. I’ve heard it all now including their “system is upgrading.” It’s always going to take j”just a few moments.” Terrible service! I’ve been a loyal customer but no longer! After wasting my time the CSR tried to sell me something. I’m afraid I let her know how I felt about that but she still asked if I wanted to make a purchase. Seriously? No, never again.

Basically inedible

Basically inedible, the assortment included some kind of pound cake loaf that tasted like soap, stale and melted sticky buns, scones broken into pieces, and hard as a rock English muffins.

You’ll find better quality baked goods from a vending machine.

This was a gift from someone, so I didn’t let on how awful it was, but would never subject anyone to this overpriced garbage. Disgraceful.

A Cardboard Box of Muffins for a Sympathy Gift!

If I could give 0 stars, I would! I sent a sympathy gift box to a friend after her mother died. Wolfermans threw 4-packages of english muffins in a cardboard box and sent it. No packaging, just a note on the label indicating it was from me. I let Wolfermans know immediately and received a response that with my permission, they would send a note of apology to the gift recipients. Absolutely not. Unbelievable.

A good friend sent me a Deluxe Berry…

A good friend sent me a Deluxe Berry Breakfast Box for Mother's Day. The content were so awful that 90% went in the trash. I can't believe they send a product like that and with a card insert bragging about the quality of the baked goods. Everything was dry, tasteless, and stale; it didn't look at all appetizing! I can get better stuff from Entenmanns at the supermarket! I feel so bad that my friend spent money on this garbage. and don't know how to tell him without hurting his feelings.

Food contains GMO ingredients - very expensive

I purchased Wolferman‘s bakery items – pick 6. I was very surprised once I receive the items, nearly everything was labeled that the product has bioengineered ingredients in it. For the price, this is completely unacceptable. It is also not displayed anywhere in their website when you look up food items. I posted my review on Wolfermans website but they deleted it. this is why am writing it here.
Now let’s get to the bakery items taste –
The scones are delicious.
The English muffins, plain are delicious. I also purchased a cranberry citrus English muffin, that was not good, the flavor tasted like sage. if purchasing English muffins I recommend you stick to plain.
The apple streusel loaf cake was OK. I believe it’s competitive in purchasing at your local grocery store bakery section. And that’ll be much cheaper too.
Purchased the maple glazed buns and cinnamon buns/rolls. The directions are to microwave it then let it sit inside a wrapper for a couple minutes. The time was not enough too soften the cinnamon rolls. The outside shell was still hard. It’s better to get the Pillsberry kind. Hot and soft.
I don’t think I will ever purchase from them again.
