No refund for missing and ice cold food. Don't trust this scam!

Half of my order was missing and what did arrive was ice cold and inedible. I was left with 2 very upset kids who didn't get the meal they were promised. I contacted customer services who refused to give me more than 30% credit back. Credits that are worthless as I will never use Wolt again. Absolutely shocking service and if this was any other company this would be called a scam.

Becoming a courier is a huge headache

Becoming a courier is a huge headache, the support is terrible, some don't even identify as the company and hang up, chatting is also super unhelpful with the same answers that actually don't help with your problem.. really really bad Company, I don't even know if I'll start working for them anymore

horrible service.

horrible service.
almost a week ago i bought a meal, one item was wrong which suck, but it happens. i contacted support right away, set my preferred language to danish, and then i waited.

i waited for 3 days, checking daily, and the third day the message to them was just straight up removed, so i wrote them again, and of course also complained about them just removing my message like that.

another day goes by, and i finally get my response, in english rather than danish, the only refunded the amount i payed extra to upgrade my order from regular fries to chilli cheese fries,
so after almost a week of trying to get it fixed i can't even buy the thing i was missing in the end.

horrible and awefully slow service, seem to have outsourced the vast majority of support workers in denmark to save money, "glitches" that make messages to customer support disapear.

also the reply to my review is wrong, i did reply to the message they sent me and told them all the same things i did in this review, they gave the same response as they did here, and kindly ignored that the 15kr is simply not enough to compensate the item in question.

can not recommend, will not be using them again.

Forgot to cancel but they won’t refund

I forgot to cancel my free Wolt+ Trial and it just charged me 79kr today. I of course didn’t want it and have not used any of the perks that you get with Wolt+. I then asked if i could get a refund for it, but they refused. Really disappointed since i have not used it, it would be different if i had. Bad

Food has not delivered

Food has not delivered, but in app it showed delivered and when contacted support over a chat, I am not getting response from them at all. I was waiting for more than half an hour after they hearing my problems, no response at all. It's seriously disappointing after ordering so many times from the same app. They lost loyal customer

350 DKK for one incorrect pizza.

Get a wrong delivery from Dominos, takes almost 30 minutes to get in touch with customer service.

3 hungry people at home so we share the one pizza that was delivered to us.

Wolt's reply? Sorry, no refund because you ate the one pizza.

350 DKK for one pizza instead of three and everyone is still hungry.

Absolutely abysmal.

Absolute disgrace

Absolute disgrace. Waited 40 mins for an order which was meant to take 10. Items missing from order and food was inedible as it was absolutely freezing. Customer service refused to pass me details for manager or a copy of their complaints procedure. DO NOT USE

Updated as more information requested. Order placed from McDonald’s. I live 350m from the store. Initial time when order placed said 10 minutes until delivery. For the next 40 minutes I kept receiving messages at the top of Wolt site advising the drivers were all busy delivering earlier orders. The food arrived approx 1 hour after ordering it and was freezing cold as it had obviously sat waiting for collection for around 40 minutes. The missing item was refunded after speaking via the chat option but the advisor Nata refused to issue a refund for the freezing cold food or offer replacement. I wasted over 400dkk on this order and then was advised by Nata there was no manager or way to make a formal complaint to the company. It’s a strange way to run a business where you have no procedure in place for consumers to lodge formal complaints!!

In response to your reply this is simply untrue. If you look at the order and delivery time you’ll see how long I waited and the food was ready long before the driver arrived. Anyway I’ve deleted the account I’ll never waste money ordering via you again and I’d advise other to do the same.

Money stealing bullshit company

I ordered fast food, from a burger place 9 minutes away from me. The estimated delivery time was 20-30 minutes. When I ordered it said 14 minutes - fantastic.
The food arrived 41 minutes later, literally ice cold and inedible. Imagine trying to reheat McDonald's level fastfood... when I reached out, Wolt took zero responsibility and only bull*hit apologized for the wait and kept insisting that they wouldn't compensate me because it was withing the estimated delivery time? So free money for them and I didn't get anything to eat.
F**king useless. Never using this again.

Very poor customer service

Terrible experience with Wolt’s customer service twice in a row. First time I received burgers with mould on the buns and it took me 2 hours to convince them I was in right to get a refund…The second time I ordered from Wolt market and got a salmon that was 2 days before expiry date, but was already bad. After an hour they basically called me a liar and ended the conversation with telling me they can only offer me to leave a feedback. So, I paid for food that was only fit to be thrown out. It was hard to believe that 55 dkk is worth more for Wolt than their integrity.

Absolutely horrible customer service

Absolutely horrible customer service. They make mistakes and don’t even acknowledge it. I have made hundreds of orders and a pay subscription but for one order they will risk their best customers. Do not use Wolt. Worst customer service ever.

Bad bad bad experience

Bad bad bad experience. We ordered food online and got the wrong order from Burger king and informed Wolt (Sofio) about it. They had such a bad stinking attitude. Saying we placed the wrong orders (after we took a screenshot of our online order, Sofio kept arguing and saying that the receipt is what we ordered (Burger king got the order wrong and Sofio blamed us for getting the order wrong) our food was late and ice cold, driver doesn't even know where we stay and keeps going to the wrong address..sick of Wolt.. cancelled Monthly membership..

Klarna was a lifesafer when it came to ordering for my kids and family, now I don’t even know what to do.

Worst delivery platform to order…

Worst delivery platform to order with…support is even worst. Getting reply after 1 hour… provided cold food even not ready to deal with wrong or cold food… unprofessional drivers and customer care 🤬

So practically you don't care what you deliver. I can see that clearly from your reply. Also you don't care about customer experience. Not recommended at all 👎👎

I've just taken a look at your order as well as the conversation you had with my colleauge. As I can see you received exactly what you ordered as my colleauge also mentioned to your in the chat. I understand that your made a comment for the restaurant asking them to please change your choice of dressing as well as add another type of condiment. I apologize that your request was not followed through with by the restaurant but unfortunately the extra condiment you asked for costs extra and since you didn't pay for it the restaurant are allowed to not give it for free. In the end it is completely up to them.

Regarding the temperature of your food, I'm sorry. Unfortunately I can see that we can't offer you a compensation at this time as your order arrived 10 minutes before the delivery estimate given in the app.

I hope we'll get the chance to impress you another time in the future.

Worst service ever

Food was half an hour late, restaurant didn't answer the phone, delivery driver just walked into our house without knocking, claiming he thought it was a shop. He asked for cash payment even though it was paid for online. The order was wrong - two missing dishes and 1 wrong one. I've had to spend an hour on wolt chat trying to get help and finally got a partial refund for the missing dishes.
