Voices cut out

I've created 3 audios and all 3 of them have technical issues; the voices cut out an average of 10 times each. Besides, customer service is a bit slow at solving problems.

Very scammy

Very scammy. They charged me without my knowledge and do not reply to my emails. Don't approach this platform. I might have to change my bank details now. A true hassle.

Great team and support

I'm not an expert on AI content generation, so I probably haven't been the ideal person to stress trest the product and give the most expert feedback.
But from what I can tell, the team and founder behind it are really open to feedback and their support for any issue is great, which is extremely important for this kind of SaaS companies.

I genuinely wanted this platform to live up to its initial value but it didn't

I genuinely wanted this platform to work for me. The concept is strong, and on the surface, it offers tools that could be valuable for creators working with audio.
However, my experience has been frustrating. The interface and workflow feel more complex than they need to be, and tasks that should be straightforward often require more time and troubleshooting than expected. When you are working against deadlines, friction like that adds up quickly.
It originally felt designed for non-technical users and was straightforward to navigate. Over time, however, it has devolved into an AI video feature-heavy environment that seems better suited to highly technical users into that. Many of the newer tools feel outside the scope of what clients like myself actually need, the audio features which were exceptional and then not. More concerning, glitches within these newer features have resulted in many tracks being lost, and while there may be recovery options, there is no simple or reliable way to restore that work. When time and content are the primary assets, that risk is difficult to justify.

useless.

Tried creating a podcast with their generator, once the script was made it made me go through each individual dialogue piece and had me use credits on each of them. i dont mind using credits to do such things, but having me spend 30 minutes to manually pay for each sentence, for a mideiocre result is pissing me off. Waste of time.

They make you upgrade the basic…

They make you upgrade the basic version, to one that you have to pay. I said, ok you know what maybe the other version will be great ! It is not, it is basically the same version as the free one but with more credits !

Then they ask you to take ''an appointment with the CEO'' to refund you, but when you use the link, it doesnt work at all !

I other terms, dont pay it's no worth it !
I don't recommand at all !

Lost Tracks, Lost Trust

I once believed in Wondercraft. Its parrot mode gave real personality to a voice—something meant to live on in audio form for a friend’s children and grandchild. I'd found nothing like it in 2024. That was priceless.
So I recommended the service and he paid premium.
When Wondercraft lost his voice tracks in February, it was devastating. By Summer we tried again and in September we thought ok, they restored them. They recovered some, only to lose them again within days and horribly AFTER we'd edited them. Getting them restored felt like pulling teeth. During this time, the company shifted focus to new features and a redesigned interface. For me, unfortunately, the new services didn’t work properly—and longtime users like us, my friend and our community seemed quietly discarded.
Support became slower, at times even dismissive. And for my friend, for over $1,000 paid, the product never materialized and the service didn’t delivere on its promise to restore the lost tracks. Id suggested he simply request a reprieve from the steep costs and he basically was told to finish the work himself (in essence begin again but without their support and then good riddance) Whatever the trade-off, he got the short end of the stick. I was gutted.
What began as an inspiring project to preserve a voice for future generations became a year-long struggle of lost voices, lost trust, and disappointment. I no longer use Wondercraft. I’ve since found other platforms that now offer the same features—reliably. But to my friend, I'm so sorry I got him into this.
For creators who value their time, money, and emotional investment: tread carefully. The Wondercraft that once showed promise has lost its grounding in reliability and customer care.

Mixed experience

My reason for trying out Wondercraft was to create a podcast from a pdf. The experience was mixed. There interface is clean and I like it. It is pretty user friendly. I uploaded my own voice sample to use in the podcast. The render they did was okay, but too far out from the original. But when I applied it to the actual podcast a very strange accent was applied. Making it sound weird and useless.
I could not find a way to correct mistakes, like 'go back one step' or something like it. The AI refused to convert the full pdf to a podcast. It took me 5 runs to have it convert 75%. The sound and feeling of the end result is still very unnatural sounding. You know it is AI and not real people. Although using the Parrot function, which I think is very good, I managed to make it sound more human. But using that function uses up all credits.
Then the podcast is full of blips, missing word parts of words and pronunciation errors. I cannot use it unfortunately.
For my purposes Wondercraft is still too much in a development stage and too expensive at the same time. I will cancel my subscription and return at a lager stage.
