After 15 years of business with Woodforest with my business account and personal account, I refuse to continue with them. Greenville, NC branch manager just doesn't seem to care about loyal customers and a lot of revenue coming in. Just feel like a number, and that's not acceptable, with too many other banks out there. Moving accounts elsewhere! I've heard many others feel the same way.

I opened my accounts 14 years ago and specifically chose a smaller local bank. Finally I have given up. The bank is not keeping up with the times. The computers are always "slow" or just completely down. Today I have not been able to receive an "access code" to log onto my account. It has never really been a horrible experience but it also has never been a really good experience with them. My finances and needs have grown over the years but this bank is not doing anything to grow with me. I am not going to apply to create a new savings account. Seriously after all this time it is like first time ever talking with them. The final straw is I cannot access my own account because they don't want to get needed computer upgrades. Bye Bye

Woodforest bank in Oregon, Ohio has the nicest employees. Kristi (Oregon branch) Deanna( Oregon branch) and the branch manager ( Oregon branch can’t remember her name) have always gone over an above to be kind helpful and respectful.

These people have now let people take money out of my account 3 times without my permission. I've filed many disputes over the phone with my credit card etc. But they want me to drive to a bank. Problem is they have none in the area no more cause they're shutting down banks left and right ( i can see why) just avoid this place. My lawyers bout to get involved. Im gonna miss a day of work just to go get my money and get a new banks. Awake ny the same place that just sold 6000 pair of exclusive shoes out the back door charged me for a shirt. A shirt I never ordered or picked out. I haven't recieved a shirt. Yet its a 32 step process to reverse the charge? Unbelievable. These guys act like they're better than u. Come on yall work at a bank that cant stay open. Be for real. These are the crooks

Horrible company. Tellers in the bank are friendly and helpful, but all other services are horrible. Constant hacking and fraudulent charges most of which they don't catch. They do fix these, but it is a continual issue. They also block international charges and I have to call EVERY SINGLE time to do these. Also takes too long for them to make funds available from non-payroll deposits, such as bonus checks. I cannot wait to convince my wife to abandon them. The one star rating I gave? WAY MORE than they deserve. You are better off hiding your money in a bed mattress.

I had to get some back dated statements to help a family member get the care that he needs. That information only goes back a couple years with online banking. I went to a local branch and the tellers there were VERY helpful! I want to say Thank You again to Anna and Rosa. They went above and beyond with customer service!

3 times I've had random charges on my card. They tell me everytime, come in and talk to us. Im 165 miles from a woodforest bank and they could easily call me. Only thing near me is a atm and it don't handle disputes. So since they closed their branch close to me, I gotta lose money? Aint no way. They're taking the money. Thats why they refuse to put it back. Waiting on my lawyer to call back now. I can see why they're going out of business. Now they're getting sued.

I have been a customer for a short period of time, and I don’t know if I will continue. The manager is great and most of the employees have been amazing. But…. The assistant manager is hateful and continuously holds up the line asking so many questions that you feel like a criminal before you get out of there. I dread getting her every time. She does this w many customers and you can see the anger in their faces when they leave as well.
Update…. I was very impressed to receive a personal call from the branch manager who listened to my concerns and was very apologetic. I appreciate that and she promised to look into the matter and I know she will. Woodforest just regained my trust.
I would bump this rating to a 4/5.

I went to the bank to take care of business as usual. Deja Burwell was very condescending and proud, looking for any opportunity to poke at me. Finally, she went to the branch manager to "have her" help me. I noticed she was very bossy toward her own boss, who graciously took over. If it weren't for the branch manager, I would never go back to that location again.

I had an issue with an incoming payment and requested a stop payment. I dealt with Vanessa Collett who assisted me and went above and beyond! In this current environment it is difficult to find this customer focused herculean efforts. She did everything I asked and more and as I told her, this was the bet experience I have had in the years I have been with Woodforest! Kudos to a great employee! Thank you Vanessa! My wife and I walked into the streetsboro Walmart intending to try to cash out 401k check from Fidelity and couldn't so we tried and tried places and when we were heading in to the money center there we were kindly approached and made to feel welcomed by Samantha Dye and Jeremy I believe was his name . Everyone was very professional and friendly..Felt like we joined a small financial family . Looking forward to years of banking with Woodforest.Our first joint account as husband and wife
