I was using a different Oyster app. I noticed my wife was using this one and it had incomplete journey alerts and delay claims which mine didn't. These are great features to have so I swapped.

I've only just started using this app a few days ago and I'm really impressed with the service where it updates me on my balance. It really does keep me informed as well as everything else that comes with it. A perfect app for a commuter! 😊

The app essentially offers the features of the TFL site, but the problem is it is just a portal to the actual site itself rather than a more clean fully developed app interface which would look a lot nicer & make the app even easier to use. Account management is still rather fiddly on a small iPhone screen & the poor layout of the TFL site only makes it worse (lots of zooming & scrolling needed)

May have more useful features beyond the TFL site features but you don't get access to the PRO version till you review the app here ;)

I found this useful in working out whether it was cheaper for me to do pay and go or buy a weekly travel card as all the travel times and costs are easy to find.

Easy all without ads and bugs

I love the oyster app on the iPad as it saves me going to newsagents and underground stations to check my oyster balance and History of journeys made as well as topping up the card.

a bit complicated, would be better to see balances directly in the app...
Maybe if the app could use the NFC technology to be able to use Oyster through the phone..

I can check my Oyster details without stress from my phone.

Very accurate and clear app! It works very fast too!

what can i do if my oyster card lost (linked young person card)and got a new oyster card without link young person card. if u have a choose to link online is better.

I feel like the app is simple and easy to use but the app could use clearer and more defining colours as it is hard to read at times.

i think the app has a lot of promise. It kept shutting itself down initially but seems to be ok now
I like the idea of the ease of being able to lain service delay refunds and look forward to testing that out
Additionally it has a detailed journey history, one thing I would add is a total time for the journey in minutes to further assist the user.
All in all, so far so good

Amazing how you can obtain all the services required for your journey in one place. It is also easy to navigate and user friendly. Highly recommendable app
