Instantly puts me off a company

Minus 1. I have been put-off from applying to so many jobs because of its awful, soulless, needlessly complicated user experience. It instantly gives me a bad impression about an employer.

Workday...leave the HRIS world

Workday is great as an applicant tracking system but for HRIS its awful...reporting...forget about it, payroll...wrong there too. They promise all of this stuff and don't deliver and then nickel and dime companies for everything. Reporting Day 1 y'all will love it ...7 months in from implemetation...still no reporting, everyone's personnel file will transfer from UKG into WD seamlessly...nope no ones stuff transferred. Companies now need to hire Workday experts for large salaries just to make it usable.

I hear its good on the financial end of things and so if that's what its good at then go with that but get out of HRIS and payroll please.....48 page step by step instructions from our company that should only be a three step process. I miss UKG.

The company I contract for switched to…

The company I contract for switched to Workday and it's been a disaster. The launch happened late and was basically unusable for the first week, so bad that the company had to pay us training hours to compensate. The interface is a labyrinth. Fully unimpressed, and I suspect the "AI at the center" thing has something to do with it.

This is as user UN-Friendly as you can possible get. I don't know how much workday pays these companies to get them to sign up for this but it's not enough. The amount of time I have spent just trying to #$%^ view my w-2 is criminal. Let alone onboarding a new employee. Or any of the other things that I need to do on the daily. Sure it was a little clunky before. But at least the separate programs were honest about being separate. Now I have to log into workday to log into the ops center in order to do an I-learn .... AWESOME! It used to just be got the the menu select the program you need and log in. EASY Really glad they spent money on this.
I mean they just spoil us.

The worst system to use for an…

The worst system to use for an applicant. If I see workday posted on a job I don't even bother because of how cumbersome it is. First off, I'm not going to create a workday account to apply for a job. That's just nonsense data capture that I guarantee they are selling the data to companies i. need of marketing lists

Employers Can Abuse You with This Software

Workday needs to provide 3rd party support for employees.

Upon termination, my employer decided to lock me out of the system. The problem: I was not given my final pay in a state where you have to provide it upon termination. Since then, my employer has begrudgingly decided to provide my paystubs. They will not let me access any of my time cards, which I normally approve to get paid.

I do not know if they have changed the hours I worked, whittled down my OT, etc. They have scrubbed all previous time cards, work agreements, etc.

Obviously, there is the potential for wage violations, fraud, etc.

PLEASE PROVIDE 3RD PARTY SUPPORT.

Wish I could give it a zero

Wish I could give it a zero. At the very least, a job applicant should be able to select their ACTUAL degree, not just one that starts with the same letter. Right, right?!? Or, novel thought, be able to simply type in their degree.

Job Applicant's Nightmare

As a job applicant, not once have I had this platform input my resume correctly. Even my name ends up with every letter repeated 3-4 times so it ends up being NNNaaaaammmmmeeeee. I have to manually input all of my resume information. Plus, why date of graduation a required field? Age discrimination?

WORKDAY IS THE REASON WHY THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS IS TERRIBLE!!! AVOID AT ALL CAUSE!!!

Workday has to be the worst HR platform ever! 1-When I see companies using it, I know firstly that I would need it reset my passwords as any saved Workday passwords overlaps with other Workday account saved. 2-I strongly believe the issues with the recruitment process to this day is due to the incompetent process and procedure that this company has developed.

Avoid at all cause, do not sign up to any of their workday company partner accounts, they are a SCAM!!!!!

My company just switched from ADP to this app a month ago. I had never heard of it before. None of employees 401 K contributions are actually going to the 401K , however the money is being pulled from our weekly salary. The app crashed last night and everyone had to email their hours for the day to their supervisor what a clown show this app is . I heard this morning that people didn’t get paid this week as well, this happened once before on the first live payday . The interface on the app is not even close to intuitive. What utter garbage it’s almost 2026 and this app is the worst application I have ever used !!!!!!

Worst company on the planet

Worst company on the planet.

Auto rejecting candidates for arbitrary reasons that have nothing to do with the job description or person specification. Giving candidates the wrong answers to questions during screening interviews. Not actually knowing the answers to the questions they ask, so cannot possibly judge the quality of any answer.

Neither candidates nor job seekers like what they do. It's only because they have convinced the bean counters that they can do recruitment cheaper (which doesn't pan out to be the case anyway).

I see a company uses Workday and I hit the X

How on this green earth does Workday claim its HR platform is driven by AI? What a crock! There is nothing AI about it and it has not changed in years anyway. It's just garbage. You upload your resume to a company site using workday and its gets 99 percent of everything wrong. Now when I see a job post has led to Workday I hit the X and apply someplace else. Job searching is hard enough without having to deal with Workday and its obsolete processes. It's 2025 not 2005.
