Thank you Melanie of WPS, having reached that point of life and finishing employment ready for that retirement stage, there’s quite a lot to understand on several levels, being introduced to new terms, options, pension types with various options within that, add life style reverses pension income l could go on and on. Basically. l bet like me your definitely out of your comfort zone.

Very impressed with WPS Advisory. All the pre-meeting information I was asked for actually focussed my thinking into how I wanted my retirement to look. It made me think about questions concerning my future that I hadn't previously considered. The advice, from Ian Waddell , was clear and un-hurried. I had time to digest and ask questions. An extremely positive experience on a subject that i've dodged for years. Can most certainly recommend.

I could not have asked for better help and advice in navigating myself into retirement than that received from WPS Advisory. It can be a bumpy road but WPS helped get there enormously.

In 2023 I attempted to transfer a defined benefit out and asked loads of financial advisors but only WPS would 'take me on'. They said it would cost £1500 which I was ok with even though I was just over the £30K where I had to have advice.
I filled out the who am I form, spoke initially with an advisor and all seemed to be going well. Then out of the blue I get a phone call saying THEY made a mistake and now the cost if I wanted to continue was £5,000. Nope! They apologised and that was that, left in the lurch. Its now 8 months later and just going through some old .pdfs and came across the who am I form I had to fill in and what a complete and utter waste of my time the whole process was. So, I thought I'd waste some more time doing a review.

We received excellent advice from our Financial Adviser, (Kieran), he was very clear with all aspects when dealing with our concerns & we are very satisfied with the outcome.

My experience with WPS was very positive. I was initially asked to complete a questionnaire to outline my circumstances, and then took part in a Teams call with Ian. Ian was well informed during the call and took the time to discuss my various options, and address any concerns I had. I now feel better informed to make a decision.
