Pointless promoting a finish time for an auction if it then carries on for another 3 hours
The auction did not end at the quoted time or even close. Endless emails relating to an 8pm end but then the auction carried on for a further 3 hours! 3 hours in which 'final bids' pushed the bids on my items up at least 3 times. Ridiculously unfair and dishonest in my opinion. I'm all for anti sniping processes not that's not what had happened here.

We are sorry you did not understand our auction end process fully, it does not state anywhere that our auctions end at 8pm, it says on all correspondence, emails and T&C’s that FROM 8pm our software will conclude the auction when bidding falls below a certain level. This helps our sellers get the best prices for their bottles and also stops bidders from getting sniped in the dying seconds. Thank you

Not the best auction experience
Once the countdown clock reaches zero there is no indication on the site to tell you that the lot you are bidding on is still live. I do not want to sit around for hours after the auction is supposed end, waiting to see if I have won a lot. Scotch Whisky Auctions also end their auction in a similar way, however they at least tell you the lot is still open for bids.
I would consider using this auction again if they sorted out their end of auction process to be more transparent and fair to the bidders. A definite end time would suffice.
