I’ve bought a few used cars over the years, but 16th Avenue genuinely stands out. No sales fluff, no shady tactics—just solid cars, fair prices, and a team that actually gives a damn about what they’re selling.

The process was simple and no-pressure. I appreciated how they were upfront about each vehicle’s condition—no pretending things are showroom-perfect, but also no surprises. They let the stock speak for itself. Every car is clearly hand-picked, and you can tell there’s pride in what they do.

I dealt with the owner directly, and it felt more like buying from a car enthusiast than a salesman. There’s a proper old-school work ethic here, mixed with smart, modern touches. The cars are well-prepped, clean, and advertised honestly. And when they say they’ll sort something—they actually do.

If you’re fed up with the usual used car dealership nonsense, 16th Avenue is a breath of fresh air. I’ll be back for my next car without a second thought.

I bought a car from them online which they advertised on 5 different sites, their adverts never mentioned the car as a non runner or spair repairs, they even could get a finance on the car but I was a cash buyer. They sent me a invoice and I did not check the invoice properly and I transfer the money to them straight away, when the car was delivered the driver damaged the side mirror and never apologies or tried to resolve the problems, all this was catch on CCTV,the car was advertised with full car history and 2 keys which I never received, after somany phone calls they promised they will send the missing key and paperwork to me by post but never did, ignoring my emails and text messages, phone calls, they are quick to take your money but they don't care when something goes wrong, because I bought a car online and had it delivered to my then by the consumer law I had the rights to return the car within 14 days uder the selling distance rules, which they refused as well ,once they sell the car to you and take your money from you they will ignore you and and any issues with the car, two week later today the car developed engine issues, engine management light comes up after using the car 2 days , no second key which they advertised the car with, no car service history. They just conning people,I have put a claim through the Motor ombudsman now and they reviewing the case now, So just to update you, i was talking to the Motor Ombudsman couple days ago and because this company is not on their list and didn't assign to the complaints procedure so they can't touch them but they gave me a legal advices how to deal with them through Traiding Standards agency office and Citizens Advice bureau, which I have done. 5his car dealers think no one can touch them but they are wrong, the procedures just started today and looks promising on my side, they can't mess with the law , the car will go again through the MOT checks again because we think that the services has been done illegally. Another issues with the car, DVLA investigating the car, they don't want to issue a new V5C, The VIN number is not matching their records, also our solicitor asked for all the adverts from the advertising websites they put the car on, just to update, police is involved now and it's classified as a fraud what they have done so investigation is in progress now , email and letter sent to them ,they have 14 days to reply on it by law, if no response from them another steps will be taken, this company closing and reopening the business under new names every financial year, all backgrounds has been check and recorded by Gov.com.
They have scamed another 3 people in May 2025

When you have seen many cars that sellers promised the earth and driven miles and miles, but on arrival they were selling rubbish.

Still refuses to pay back the reservation fee, even though they were in breach of the agreement by not putting the vehicle through the AA health check as agreed.
