2006 Dodge Ram Mega Cab 5.7 Engine.

2006 Dodge Ram Mega Cab 5.7 Engine.
Fuel pump purchased in early 2024.
Fuel pump installed in May 2024. Removed bed of truck to install the pump. The fuel quit pumping fuel in February 2025 about 1/2 mile from my home, although the fuel gauge continued to work. A new fuel pump was sent out and arrived promptly. On 3/29/25, I removed the bed of the truck to install the replacement fuel pump under warranty. upon installation, I checked to verify it was pumping fuel, but to confirm the fuel gauge was working. After re-installing the bed of the truck, I realized the fuel gauge was not working! (This was saturday evening) 1aauto office staff would not return to work till the following Monday. On 3/31/25, I removed the bed of the truck again to verify the gauge arm was moving freely. It was. I check the operation of the fuel gauge with the pump out of the tank. It did not move from empty. I took the defective fuel pump (non-pumper) I had previously removed due to not pumping fuel and plugged it up outside the tank and moved the fuel float up and down. The gauge in the dash work fine with it. I called 1aauto and the sale rep said I would get a call back in 3-5 days to let me know what my options would be. I asked to speak with a supervisor and the supervisor explained the sales person was doing the job as they were trained. After explaining all this to the supervisor, he said he would have a replacement pump sent out to me, but it will be Friday (4-4-25) before I would receive it. Today is Monday! He said I will need to send back the originally defective fuel pump and I could discard the one in which the fuel gauge did not work. After getting off the phone, I went to Auto-zone, paid $175 plus tax for a new fuel pump, brought home, plugged it up outside the tank to test it. Gauge worked and the pump worked. Installed it and put the truck bed back on! Whew, what a day. Now once the new fuel pump comes in from 1aauto this Friday, I'll have a spare Fuel Pump to put in my shop so if and when the Auto-zone fuel pump goes bad, I can install it.... Or I can sell the 1aauto pump if I sell my truck before I use it. The fuel pump from 1aauto in 2024 was less than $120. The auto-zone pump cost more, but at least I don't have to have my truck sitting in my yard with the bed removed for the next week!!

Fortunately

Fortunately, there were 2 separate individuals that were able to assist me regarding the damage caused by the transportation company for 1A Auto, that occurred on 2 different sales and shipments. Both representatives at 1A Auto took care of both shipping issues caused by their vendor, without creating any hardship to myself and/or anyone at my company. We received full respect with responses that were concise, effective, rational and courteous.

I am not a mechanic - but 1A Auto video gave me confidence

I am not a mechanic, but can manage small projects. My 2003 GMC Envoy rear power window broke. I googled how to fix it and a You Tube video from 1A Auto came up. The video gave me confidence to order the new power window motor and regulator and attempt the installation.

I called 1A Auto to confirm the correct replacement part and they provided great advice for me to call the dealer and confirm the part number. I did that and then 1A Auto confirmed that I was indeed ordering the correct part.

The new part (TRQ-WRA51346) was delivered a day earlier than they promised and I was able to successfully install the item myself with no assistance. By doing it myself, I saved at least $300 for what the dealer would have charged. I am a new fan of 1A Auto!

I ordered two rear door seals for my…

I ordered two rear door seals for my vehicle and paid $105.90 or $50.95 each.

Once installed one of the door seals failed and began holding water within the seal and leaking inside the vehicle.

I called the company, they sent me a replacement and said I would have to send the failed on back and pay for shipping which turned out to be $28.00, or the life time warranty would be voided.

They say they give you 60-days for returns from date of purchase.

Although I live in Oregon, and after receiving it, which took over two weeks, and then installing it and waiting for a rainy day, then contacting them, and waiting for the replacement, the 60-days is not valid, not to mention it is supposed to be a life-time warranty.

Now the replacement is installed and although it appears it may fail, I am waiting for a rainy day to verify.

I do not recommend this company.

I ordered a part for my 2006 Honda…

I ordered a part for my 2006 Honda accord from 1a auto using their website to confirm that this part was compatible with my vehicle. When I installed the part I found it is not compatible with my vehicle and does not work properly. I tried to submit for a return or exchange, but they informed me that the part I need is not available and that since the part I ordered is an electrical part and it’s not eligible for return because it was installed. I think this is a very deceiving business practice how is any part electrical or not supposed to be verified it works on a vehicle unless it is installed. This is a very deceiving business practice, and I think people should beware and avoid purchasing parts from this company.

1A Auto always has top quality parts for much less money than local stores. My suspension parts carry a lifetime warranty, and fit perfectly. Shipping is fast and free. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly.

I never write reviews

I never write reviews. Yet, they have been nothing short of amazing and during these times it’s refreshing! I ordered parts that were lost by UPS. 1A replaced them no questions asked! Well, 2 days after placing the order I was in a car accident and my vehicle was totaled. A few weeks later, I called to return the parts. No expecting a refund, there was nothing I could do with them and they gave me no issue replacing the missing order I felt it was the right thing to do. Y’all they refunded my money mins shipping. Listen, in a time when companies are taking advantage of customers A1 Auto has a soul and shows their appreciation to their customers! They will always have my business and everyone I can speak the word to!

I upgraded my wife's car with trq…

I upgraded my wife's car with trq performance rotors and ceramic pads. She noticed how better the car was stopping, but not until she was in a near miss accident. She had to slam on the breaks and the improved stopping power really performed. I am now in the process of changing all my vehicles breaks when needed to trq performance. Thank you 1A auto.

1Auto The Gold Standard

1Auto: Wow, I have seen 1Auto how to video on YouTube and they are one of few on YouTube that one can count on for reference to accurate information when working on a auto repair when doing for the first time diy home project including toque settings. But I recently made my first parts order and was totally impressed from time of finding a actual phone number and someone promptly answering the phone and a extremely helpful and experienced lady that informed me that how great the owner ran his company and was with his employees. They only sell parts they inspect approve and guarantee for life. They even have an automated system to use your phone to pay with credit card while on the phone. 1A Auto sets the Gold standard for all American Businesses. I personally have experience working for a large company that had two programs they used to bring all their employees on board to being Team Players witch is what All American’s need to do their part toward being what this country was in our Golden Years of the pass. No one person can do this. Let’s all follow in 1A Auto’s footsteps!
Please for our Country’s sake.
