I've had my gym access restricted for almost a month but I'll have to pay for it anyway. Watch out for these scam artists. Will be joining the Foundry gym over the road.

Kidderminster Gym. Why do we have to listen to the same music 27/7 the bass line is BOOM BOOM BOOM to every song. It's like they only have one cd. It's a really great place to workout.

Had been going gym in Fareham for about a year. I stopped going to 247 and after about 6 months, I used the website contact form to ask - is my membership still active (as no matter what I did i couldn’t get my email to verify - in order to sign in and see active status). And also asked if it’s still active, how to cancel.

My message was ignored, I asked again, was ignored. So I assumed I must not have an active account.

All well and good. But today I have checked my direct debits and seen 247 still taking money. I had seen this debit a few months back but due to the vagueness of the account receiving the money I assumed it was car tax. Today I saw both transactions, so looked into what the vague one was. Essentially it was 247. This time I used the actual email for 247 to ask the same 2 questions I had months ago. Had a reply within 30 mins. Gave my contact details and the customer service person said they didn’t have any website form messages from myself ever.

I put another web form message through, this time screenshoting the success in message pop up. I sent this to the customer service advisor, who then came back and said they had actually received the web form messages from today. I said about the previous one, but was essentially fobbed off.

Just buy equipment online and use at home don’t bother with 247.

I wanted a partial refund from the months and months I had unknowingly paid for the service. By using the web form, I never had any evidence from my “sent” mailbox. So it’s 247s word against mine. Seems quite unfair, as someone who isn’t the fastest with tech I feel scammed.

Re - your reply: my case was dismissed as fast as possible regardless of evidence given.

Do not pay upfront for this gym group. I paid a single price up front intead of monthly, they then closed my local gym with the nearest one being over 10 miles away. They have refused a refund (I've only had 5 months access instead of 9) and they have said they calculate refunds based as if i had been paying the non upfront discounted price so they don't owe me anything.

BE WARNED - DONT PAY IN ADVANCE

The gym is regularly cleaned, the staff have always been helpful and the changing rooms are ace.
If there are any issues with equipment it usually has a don't use me sign and is quickly fixed or replaced.
I havent tried the sauna yet because my time management is shocking but over all this is the best gym I've been to

Sheffield, my son joined on a monthly basis, £19.95, went for 3 weeks then cancelled, on the day he cancelled the next months payment “magically” appeared on his bank! So they want to charge a child £40.00 for going to a gym for 3 weeks! RIP off! Avoid at all costs! If I get a refund I shall update the review!

The gym in Sheffield is great. 24 hours and 7 days a week. Got loads of new equipment and loads of free weights and free workout space. It's huge and thankfully not crowded due to the amount of free space.

Haven't really experienced a queue here ever or many people asking how many sets I have left like in other gyms, as there are many machines, free weights, and bars.

Loads of parking too! Always ample parking.

The gym smells threw out the gym like a drainage smell coming from the toilets the showers let’s not talk about
Alic the manager seems to think it’s ok to drink on duty and the smell is so strong of alcohol
He tends to come into the ladies department on a regular basis I feel very intimidated by him and he can be very loud and rude at times
Him being the manager his behaviour towards the gym members is soo un professional
My daughter will not ever go to this gym again as he’s a big bully
I hope higher management do something about him as he’s dragging the place down which is already on its last legs

I have attended 24/7 Kidderminster for a few years now, excellent gym, quality equipment regularly upgraded, helpful staff, always clean and tidy unbeatable value.

This review is about the shower facilities at the sheffield branch.
The showers could do with a little shelf inside to put your toiletries on. Also I don't like that there is no private area to get dried off and changed. The space around the lockers is too open with people coming in and out of door regular. Would benefit from a stall or something fitted with a door or even a curtained area. There is plenty of space for this for one or 2 doored off stall to allow privacy so not having to flash people. I had to walk over to one of the toilet cubicles to dry off and change which wasn't ideal.

Having been a member of 24/7 since the take over of fitness first I can honestly say it's one of the best gyms I have ever been to, from the prices to the structure of the classes and the members of Staff nothing is too much trouble. Hayley on the front desk is always there with a smile to greet you and to solve any issues which may arise. I have no trouble what so ever recommending this gym to anyone

I'm at Sheffield/Hillsborough gym and think for the money it's absolutely brilliant. I used to pay £70-80 per month for Virgin Active or David Lloyd. I'd say the gym equipment is as good as either plus, it's open 24/7.

No jacuzzi or sauna.....but changing rooms/showers are clean. Admittedly, I use the gym late mornings so have never seen it when it's busy at peak times. But been a member for about a year and really like the place

I'd recommend to anyone who (like me) can't afford £50pm+

Cannock gym is okay, could do with more benches as it gets crowded

NO RESPONSE TO COMPLAINT ALIC THE GENERAL MANAGER @ 24/7 BIRMINGHAM FELT IT WAS APPROPRIATE TO RESPOND TO A COMPLAINT ABOUT HIMSELF ! WHY IS THE COMPLAINT PROCESS NOT BEING FOLLOWED ? THIS GYM NEEDS TO BE REGULATED WITH A MANAGER THAT ISNT SUCH A VILE HUMAN BEING ! ALIC NEEDS TO BE DEALT WITH !

Unhelpful staff, I emailed regarding money being taken from my account for months without going to the gym and they were unhelpful and unwilling to do anything about it. I would not recommend wasting your money. I've had better service at leisure centre gyms.

24/7 Fitness-York, Hi have Paid accidently 99 pounds for this Gym thinking it's Gym near my home.

Soon realized on same day and requested for Refund. When I called York branch they told me to contact head office on email however they told they don't have any contact telephone number. They could have handled customer communication more smoothly

Emailed head office yesterday(12/04/2023) at XXXX and refund received 14/04/2023. Communication on email with head office was smooth and assuring.

Kidderminster 24/7 gym dirty , run down , equipment in need of serious replacement, smelly mats like sweaty feet. Members of staff haven’t got a clue about good customer service. Avoid avoid avoid don’t waste your hard earned money. Abby snogging her boyfriend on reception not acceptable.

Please kindly remove all my personal details from you system and remove my email from your email list.
It is preposterous how many emails you think it is satisfactory to send one person in one single day, but I have received nine in the space of 24 hours, the same email four time three hours apart., and this continues on a regular daily basis. Your system is clearly broken.
This is not clever marketing, it is unnecessary, tantamount to harassment and you are quickly losing all credibility as a company. I have therefore decided to make sure that I put in an equal amount of effort to forewarn other people your unrelentless, pestering practises.

Hard to get attention. I’m trying to contact Cannock gym from the last 3 days no success. Emails, contact forms, instagram dm - nothing. And I can see that someone read my dm. I just wanted to ask 2 simple question to start my membership but, after reading comments here, I think it’s luck that I didn’t.

2 months in to my joining I started to notice massive failings and all due to not spending on maintenance, cleaning (done by the pt's?). The 1 gents urinal was out of service and leaking all over the floor for nearly 2 weeks, the hand drier didn't work for even longer, 1 of the 6 showers out of order the whole time I was a member, gulley trays in showers scummed up. But worst of all there are no cleaning stations, so don't look for hand sanitizer or blu roll to wipe down equipment or sanitise your hands. Drink positions on the treadmills coated in previous spillages and never cleaned in 2 months dust and grime and BIRD SEED yes uv seen correctly in situ by matts for 2 weeks. Covid .... whats that?
All in all a dreadful place and a complete health hazard..... no investment and after chasing one of their directors she emailed me to say no.plans to invest in new gym matts (old and cracked) so if the won't put hands in pockets for what is a cheap item?? Basically I left and am now at a gym that has all of the things this gym does not. Horrendous there but delighted where I am now. Do NOT join this gym.
