I loved 9gag but why the heck you are spoling games of thrones every freaking week. I can’t watch it on sundays and on mondays i have work and only on monday evenings i can watch it but noooo you have to spoil everything i hate it

i love 9gag iv'e a member for around 15 years and i even remember the time that you actually had 9 memes on each page (hence the name 9 gag)
but latley it's been kind of repetitive

Racism, homophobia, sexism and religious intolerance at it’s worst. After too many scarcily dressed women and nostalgic video game flashbacks 9gag crawled further into the gutter, I am done with this trash.

It was ok for a while but the heavy censorship makes normal communication impossible. Mods will delete or edit your posts without any reason or notice and without showing you changes.

Yes you hear it right, your post will be deleted or changed to everyone, but you will see it like everything is normal. I recently talked to someone and we couldn't get along, it was like we were talking past each other. Turned out more then half of what I said was deleted but I couldn't even see that it was. It was also deleted in a way that made me look like I was lying. Every time I tried to prove I wasn't lying my comment was deleted. Disrespectful, manipulative, disgusting behaviour. Borderline slander through manipulation of my posts. It was the worst I was treated by the staff of a site ever. Besides the abusive moderators of the chat the content is extremely mediocre and often outdated. Not worth being treated like garbage by the staff. I deleted my account on 9gag which I do very rarely.

They literally couldn't do anything worse.

This review will explain everything you need to know about 9gag. The main administrator who hand picks most of the featured (hot) posts is a sociopath. He has serious mommy issues, having been abandoned by his mother he became an emotionally stunted child which led him to develop sociopath behaviors:
1 - Parasitism: being emotionally handicapped he doesn't have the creative skills to come up with content so resorts to copying from other platforms and taking credit for the posts that you guys create.
2 - Lack of empathy and remorse: all its content targets females, black people, disabled individuals or some other less powerful group to pick on by degrading them for entertainment.
3 - Stalking and voyeurism: If you take a look at glassdoor reviews of 9gag you will read testimonies of their prior employees complaining about upper management spying on them. I have lived personal encounters with this administrator when he would spy on me through my webcam and tap my phone, so I can only presume that you as a consumer giving the 9gag app permission to access your phone camera and microphone have also been spied on and perhaps stalked if him or ones of his likes developed an obsession with you.
This type of individual is constantly suffering and thinks it's only fair to inflict pain on others. It personally opened my eyes on the devil within who walks this earth. You need more info about him? A Lebanese Stanford graduate working for apple and whose only delusional purpose in life is feeling powerful by degrading others. I think he should consult a professional about his mental problems, otherwise it's going to lead to a rerun of American Psycho. The only way he is getting away with all of this, is because Capitalism protects businesses and money more than ethics and the consumer!

Used to be awesome. They are beginning to censor content they don't like (not pornographic or crass, either. It's subjective.).

10/10 best place to get the dankest memes of them all. Would recommend much wow.

This website is an embarrassment to the internet community. Not for its content, rather the way in which the website censors and manipulates the content. 9gag spits in the face of free speech and is a disgrace to the internet neutrality movement. I would highly recommend the many other websites in this genre that actually have some respect for their users.

I have used 9gag for 3 years and it has been amazing site but then in last month or so it started to ban gifs etc.....

Great community much fun, one does not simply read one meme and leave.
