Perfect delivery time and experience

No refund for delayed delivery, I paid for express delivery!
Note: I paid extra for express delivery.
I ordered an item along with other items totaling around 775$ on 5th August 2022, I contacted customer service on 17th August to know when will I get the item, they said it is going to take an additional week to arrive to their warehouse then an additional 3~4 days to delivered to me (if custom goes smoothly and it's not a weekend), in total, it will take a month for it to be delivered! Not to mentioned the expensive custom and delivery charges!
When I asked for cancelation for the item, they basically said that I will lose 7$ if I cancel. Why should I pay for the vendor/platform delay?
What a waste of money and time.
