I stored here for approximately 1 year. Costs are competitive but do increase after the initial discount period.
I had minimal issues until I really needed customer service and then was left very disappointed. I arranged out of hours collection access and then went on to pay for van rental and a friend to accompany. Sadly in the depth of rain the access gate was apparetnly resetting which left me in the rain 2 hours and eventually unable to access at a cost of 100-200 pounds. After raising the issue I was told that the gate was resetting. It then took me 3 months to chase a complaint and by that time thr regional manager then said they could not offer me any compensation as I was no longer a customer (obviously). Very very poor customer appreciation and service in the only moment that I required it, having paid thousands over the year of storage.

I first used their storage over 15 years ago and it's reassuring to see the customer service is as good now as it was back then. The easily-accessed quotes, an informative booking-in procedure and helpful staff willing to take you to your unit all combined to make taking it on a stress-free process. There are cheaper units elsewhere, but the standard of service at Cricklewood makes it worth paying the extra.

In terms of using the storage location…
In terms of using the storage location that was completely perfect and I had absolutely no complaints, however getting a refund due to ending my storage early has been a complete nightmare.
It’s been a month since I was told my refund was processed and I’m yet to see any of the money I’m due.
Can’t help but feel I won’t see it and that has made me very hesitant to use access storage again.
