Worst app out there

Very sorry service and reporting.....freezing weather coming.....then gives lesson about driving in icy conditions.. WHERE is it going to be icy? WHEN is the arctic blast coming....the one for which the HEADLINE was named? If you give a title......give the fecking information that matches the title.....We don't need your advice....we need to you to report the weather....

The app is neither predictive, reliable and can’t pre guess the Doppler. At all! Rather random, conflicting, lazy and inaccurate. NOAA was far superior and better informed.

Very inaccurate if you can stay ahead of the ads, they think they are awesome by their words. Why would Google play even have them except for ad money or something.

Changed for the worst. Used be user friendly. Something changed. Used to have very few ads. Now, one click on hourly, daily forecast, or radar, and immediately an ad shows up. LONG seconds later, then bareley visible in a corner, not always the same corner, an X to close the ad, and see whatever you wanted to see. Quite dissapointing. Now I have to find another weather app.

Since the August update, there is no way to change the default location. I recently moved to a different state. I want the local weather, not the weather in the location I used to live in.

Also, their "contact us" site does not work. It will not accept ANY communications. Period.

My thermometers all say 48F. My other weather app also says 48F.
Accuweather - 40F.
The delta is also typical of the forecasts.

GARBAGE!!! A week ago they announced floods in the location I was researching, and now the sun is there shinning high!! DO NOT LISTEN TO THEM.

The August 2025 update is so bad I had to leave a negative review on the Apple Store and here as well. The UI design decisions put priority on loading Ads and hiding functionality (if the app loads at all on the first try). What were you all thinking over there - product leadership should be fired.

l used the app on my phone and accuweather added so many ads that I can't even see the screen. This is a useless app now and I deleted it and moved on.

Used the app for the longest time but deleted due to ads and being stuck on app with some dumb online casino games which won’t go away . Dumb decision by the app developers when there are alternatives

I cancelled my subscription and it showed cancelled on my portal then 24 hours later they billed me for another month (out of my normal cycle). Horrendous customer service doesn’t want to help and has a rigorous attitude.

STAY AWAY!

It used to be pretty good but now the ads just clutter up everything. It changes its look at times for reasons beyond me. Definitely downhill.

It used to be a GREAT app until the bean counters took over and started selling subscriptions. When that wasn's enough, they started selling Ads that you had to watch before you could see the weather. THEN, the Ads got longer and if you could tolerate the delay, they would punish you further by not clearing the screen. At that point, I deleted the App. Sayonara!

Unbelievably inaccurate! Today it said rain starting in 15 minutes at 7:42 am. It was already pouring and it was 7:45. Consistently wrong. I mean not even close 98% of the time. I work outside and weather is important to me to schedule work. Just wanted to say that I will never use the app again.

In the Pacific Northwest, the major summer pollutant is Nitrogen Dioxide. This has been a major contributor to the deaths of many of our native trees and decorative plants, but other weather apps fail to include this pollutant in the AQI reporting. This results in most people believing the air quality is okay, but wondering why their eyes are stinging and plants are dying. I believe that the use of Plume data accounts for this.

The updated app is gaudy, irritating and NO IMPROVEMENT. I will be looking elsewhere

So wrong with forecasts the new app graphics no where near as good as the old sitting in vehicle waiting for rain to go off to commence work all ready changed 8 times in 5hrs not sure if it's any better but will have to try I phone weather, terrible

The app can't even get the current weather correct. Absolutely terrible. The worst of them all by far.

I contacted Accuweather to cancel my subscription as their August 2025 "update" took away what I loved about the App and within less than 24 hours, they promptly BILLED me for another year! Stay away!
