So terrible how the play me this way after banking with them for over 2years with all the messed up transactions and card being declined the charge monthly fee fee to transfer and fee to send and the block my account with my wages in it they asked for proof which I did and since then it’s been over 3weeks now the keep thesame thing I just need my money

STAY AWAY!!

I am a disabled customer with disabled children, and this bank has frozen my account twice within 48 hours without giving me any explanation or asking for any further information.

I provided full evidence for my legitimate funds, and the bank confirmed everything was verified — yet the very next day they blocked my account again. They are also aware that my Universal Credit payment is due, which means they are preventing me and my children from accessing essential benefit money.

The customer service has been shocking. I spoke to a manager who showed no concern for the immediate financial harm this is causing. No one can explain why my account is frozen, when it will be resolved, or how I’m supposed to feed my family.

Their actions breach FCA Consumer Duty and show a complete disregard for vulnerable customers. If you rely on your account for essential income — especially benefits — please be careful.

I am now escalating this to the FCA, Financial Ombudsman, and the DWP due to the severe impact on my household.

If I could give it 0 stars I would sent money to another account and it’s taking ages! The fact it’s my son’s disability money aswell is an absolute joke. Staff are vile they laugh at you. Have already contacted police action fraud and the financial ombudsman

At first was good to use for…

At first was good to use for international transfers, I always like using the underdogs. They introduced a 99p transfer fee. I didn't have an issue. A few transfers dropped in review which is totally understandable.
When transferring money from my own account to another account in my name it randomly goes into review not convenient at 3am.
It's a sub par financial institution, will raise to 5 stars once they sort the issues out of constantly going into review. If I was transferring to new people everytime I totally understand the need to review payments, the support staff can't do anything as they raise tickets too people who probably don't care and pick it up when they can be bothered.

If your going to use this id advise you not to rely on ace and use it only if you are not expecting payments immediately.

Dreadful institution

I wouldnt even give this bank 1 star. Absolutely horrific experience from start to finish. They freeze the account when you receive any large or big transaction to the account without an prior notice.

Also if you dont have enough money in your account for a direct debit. They freeze and close the account. They withhold funds for long periods of time.

Service is absolutely appalling and I will be also making a complaint to the financial ombudsman service regarding this because the service has been dreadful.

Do not bank with this crap firm!!!!

I had my account placed "under standard…

I had my account placed "under standard review" was told this was due to payment from DWP not having rwfence number. I sent prrof of payment and they have fobbed me off for over a week not allowing me access to my online account and withholding my money.
I have spoken with them and constantly get told "we will pass on to relevant team" and my emails I get basic standard response of "being dealt with as a priority" I have zero access to my own money of over £1,200 and have zero way of paying bills, rent or feeding myself and child. Even when I have explained the effect on my mental health they just aren't interested.
I have provided alternative account for them to transfer my funds to and then they wanted a letter headed title page with name and account details on which I have sent and now I'm getting ignored.
Has anybody had any success in getting their money back?

I have told this bank I have been suicidal as they have blocked my account for a week I can’t eat I’ve lost my cab as I couldn’t pay it

I just rang them for an update and he accidentally took me off hold and they were all laughing at mE. Is this funny is it someone saying they are suicidal and you all laughing
